I ran over to the greenhouses and just got inside when the bell went. I groaned. Now where do I have to go? I thought. That's right! I have potions! And with that, I ran over to the potions rooms in the basement.

"It is unlikely any of you will suceed. This is a sort of placement test. You have not yet learned to transfigure a living creature. Oh, Miss Belthorne your detention shall be tomorrow night at five, sharp. Do not be late. Your homework will be to pratice your transfiguration on a piece of parchment. You may transfigure it into whatever you like." I addressesd the rest of the class.
The class ended and I looked around, but no one was able to transfigure it. Some of them were able to partly, though. I collected them to grade after all the classes were finished. But before I graded them, I wanted to talk with the Headmaster.

As walking out of the classroom my stomach growled and I was relived to know that it was time for lunch. Nancy as always blabbered away about how Professor Jarmin was a full on rude and a bad teacher, I tried to keep up with the conversation but she made it extremely hard. We sat down across from each other. I looked around at the food on the table, it was pretty much the same as it was that same morning. A sausage was my choice now, I finished that with huge gulps of pumpkin juice and a little toast with butter, cheese and jam.
"Aren't you having anything?" I hadn't realized that Nancy had stopped talking, she was now just sitting in front of me her eyes locked on a girl, she looked our age but she wasn't with us at the sorting. She was very little but stuck out as she looked like she had seen a ghost. "Who is that?" Nancy asked me I shrugged my shoulders and took another sip from my cup.
Where adventures are made and hero's are born. Where villians are slain and friendships live on.
There was a huge castle on an island, standing right in front of me. Moss eating up the edges and so wide, I couldn't see the whole castle. I stood in the front courtyard, pillars covered in vines were shaping the yard. Benches stood every five feet away from each other.
All I could stare at were the huge arched doors in front of me, wooden and old as hell. Some locks were on it and two door knockers with lions on them. Walking up to it, I tried to knock.
No answer.
So, I tried to push it. It was a bit heavy but I managed. What I saw was something unforgettable. A beautiful room, as tall as the eye can see and candles lit. There was another door in front of me, open, showing a magnificent dining hall which students were crowding around in.
Some students ran past me, smiles drawn on their faces. They were all wearing black with red, blue, yellow or green robes. I guess they had some sort of different houses in this place and marked them by colors.
I almost tripped on someone's robe, looking at the ground to find my step. The floor was covered in gravel, like grey blocks of bricks on the ground. This place was the most beautiful place I've seen in a long while, a true old castle never remade. That's the beauty no one should change.
I wasn't sure where to go, I needed to find someone to tell me where I could find the Headmaster.

Since there was a little confusion regarding were Nike was in the last two posts, I took the liberty of combining them. Sorry for the delay in me posting !
The girl at our table kinda lost and asked me,"Excuse me, do you know where I could find the Headmaster? I'm new and kinda lost." Nancy looked up, smiled and said, "Sure! Well, I don't personally know where he is but I can find out." At this Nancy stood up, beckoned Michael to follow. He stood up knowing he had no choice and Nancy marched to the front teachers table. She went up to Professor Grover and said, "Excuse me Professor, but this girl needs to talk to the Headmaster. She's new." Professor Grover looked and her and said, "Very well then, please follow me." They both left the Great Hall and Nancy waved. When they were gone Nancy said,"Michael, follow me. I want to show you something."

I reached the dungens where potions were being held just as I remembered that it was lunch. I didn't care. It wasn't like anybody at my house table liked anyway. As I sat down, I heard someone coming down the stairs. I quickly hid behind one of the statues that were near me until I heard the voice of the headmaster. Then I ran out to him and asked, "Sir! Sir! Can you please put me in a different house! I'm begging you! Everyone in my house hates me and won't stop teasing me! Please sir can-" "Calm down, Ms Jones. You will get your turn to speak in one-" he paused and looked at my face. "You really have to let me join Gryffendoor! PLEASE!" I started crying. He looked at me with pity and replied with a soft "I will think about it." after I took a deep breath to calm down. "Thank-you sir." "You're welcome but if memory serves me right, you have friends that are in Gryffendoor don't you." he looked at me sternly. "Yes. That is another reason why I want to join that house." I replied, meekly. "Okay, then it is decided. You shall join Gryffendoor. But," he said, seriously, "If you cause any trouble then you shall be moved back into Slytherin." "Yes sir. I understand." "Then you should go join your new house. But quickly," he nodded, "A change of clothing, perhaps?" And with that he walked away. I looked down at my uniform only to see I now had Gryffendoor colours on it instead of Slytherin. After that, I ran to the Great Hall to see my friends.

A girl about my age helped me get the the Headmaster. I was now with Professor Grover. He seemed real nice.
"So, you're new I hear..." he started.
"Yeah," I replied shyly.
"Why did you come so late into the school year?"
We walked up this grand spiral staircase which was marble and completely empty. I guess the students are now in class.
"Well, my parents just passed... really, I don't know what happened to them. They just dissapered the day I was meant to come into Hogwarts and now," I took a deep breath, stopping the tears that were ready to burst from my eyes. "I just couldn't come because they were gone. I was trying to find them." I stopped myself.
Continuing up the steps, Professor Grover lead us into a doorway. It looked like a phoenix was enclosing the tiny circular space. Once I stepped on the platform, it lifted up. Must've been an elevator then. The ones in London are much different, and maybe even nicer because of the sharpness and modern style of it. But you can't compare the two. This one is magnificent, a beauty all in it's own, old yet traditional.
"That sounds real bad. I'm sorry for you...?" he was leaving a pause.
"Apathy," I said.
"Apathy," he finished with a smile.
The phoenix opened up, letting us into this great room, tall and wide. All the walls were grey, like the concrete jungle but comforting for the moving pictures. There was one on the far wall in front of me of an old man with a long whitish grey beard.
"Headmaster Dofoogle?" he asked as we stepped into the room.
There were stairs leading up into the room. More floors to this grand place? Phenomenal.

Professor Dofoogle looked up from his papers when he heard a familiar voice. "Ah, Proffesor Grover" he said. "What do I owe the pleasure?" "We have a new student." He turned around and smiled at the person behind him. "This must be young Apathy?" He asked her! "Yes, sir." Dofoogle smiled at her for a while then chucked his glance back to Grover. "What house do you think Proffesor?" Dofoogle asked Grover. "I'm thinking she is more of the Griffindor type." "Very well. Apathy you can now go to the Griffindor home room. Professor Grover I expect you will give her a tour?"
Professor Dofoogle seemed like such a nice person. Like a grandfather I never had.
"Uh, yes. Of course I will," Grover smiled.
"Thank you, I hope you have a great time here, Apathy." Professor Dofoogle said.
All I did is smile in return.
After they spoke, Professor Grover lead me to the Gryffindor common room. I didn't even know what Gryffindor was, now should I know what a common room is? Why am I in this thing?
"Uh, Professor Grover..." I asked, a bit shy.
"Yes...?"
We started for a moving stair case. I'm not kidding, it was moving. Left to right, hitting a stable platform leading to a room. I could look up and see about twenty feet more of stairs. This place was never-ending-big.
"What's this Gryffindor thing?" I asked.
He turned his face toward me, a smile creeping on his face.
"You don't know anything about this school, do you?"
Shaking my head, I followed him onto a platform. He started to talk about these 'houses'. There were four: Gryffindor, Slytherin, Ravenclaw, and Hufflepuff. Each one was different. Gryffindor was for the brave, Slytherin was for the evil, Ravenclaw was for the bright, and Hufflepuff was for the loyal. He told me all about the school and it's students. The teachers were the most interesting though, they were all students here before as well.
Once we got to the common room, he helped me get inside. We had to talk to some fat lady portrait. There was some sort of password to some in.

pssst Nike FYI Professor Grover is female, her first name is Melisa.
Nancy walked out of the Great Hall with a very confused Michael following her. “Would it be safe to show him?” she thought to herself anxiously. “Yes,” she decided firmly “I have to tell someone and I trust him.” She entered a deserted classroom and said “Watch closely.” Her black hair grew longer and longer. Then it turned magenta pink. “I’m a Metamorphmagus. My hair is usually black, but it changes depending on my mood and if I feel like looking different for a day. I’ve been having a bit of a cold lately, that’s why you haven’t noticed. I can’t transform when I’m sick so that, I mean..” She blushed and forced herself to continue. “I’m bit of freak; I was always made fun of in school. That’s why I talk so much..” Nancy’s head hung down a little. “I hope you don’t mind” she whispered.

"A Metamorphmagus" Eyes widening with shock and my fingers going against my will and touching her hair "I've never met a Metamorpgmagus before" you could hear it in my voice that I was completely baffled by what I was seeing. "I don't mind really just good to know I ain't the only freak around here" I smiled but she chuckled and hugged me lightly then taking my hand opening the door and running towards our next class.
I wasn't very thrilled to go to class but felt a little bit happy to have Nancy there. Along with our classmates we entered a weird looking room. At the end sitting at a desk was a man who looked up as soon as we tumbled in "Please sit down class will be starting soon".

Nancy was so happy that Michael didn't freak out that she hugged him out of excitement. After that though, they were running very late to their next class, Defense against the Dark Arts. The one thing Nancy was determined not to do this time was to get another detention. She kept silent the entire time and only caught the words "vampires and werewolves." Her hair was turning blue, she noticed absentmindedly and curling slightly. She caught some people staring, it was very unusual to see one's hair change color. But, she ignored it and continued taking notes.

To Michael the rest of the day went rather quickly, now that him and Nancy couldn't stop laughing at the weirdest things. People were starting too look and not in the same way as Michael was used to, but like they were crazy. And he liked it.
Dinner wasn't as spectacular as the last night but he enjoyed it anyway. The new girl who he discovered had a rather peculiar name Apathy, joined them at the dinner table. Nancy was telling her a joke she made in DADA, while the girls laughed rather hard, Micheal was looking around something was off. It was like everything was growing darker, and he swore he saw a shadow of a figure who apparently was no where to be seen.
He wasn't the only one to realize these things, some kids around him were getting a little tense as they looked around. Michael's eyes drifted to the teachers table they were discussing something very hectically. Suddenly Headmaster Dofoogle got on his feet and rushed out of the room.
Later on they all went to their common rooms, Micheal said good night to Nancy and Apathy when the clock hit ten. He went up and was stunned to find another boy in the dorm. As soon as Micheal closed the door the boy looked up "Hey" he said and smiled. The only thing Micheal noticed was the dark messy hair, "Hey" he said back "I'm Albus, Albus Potter" His eyes shot open "Potter, really. Umm I'm Micheal Amare" Albus nodded to him "Nice to meet you but I'm a little tired so see you tomorrow" Then he closed the drapes. Not long after that before Micheal did the same

"Yesterday was a good day.Well, except for detention. " Nancy thought the next morning as she woke up from her sleep. Her detention was postponed until tonight, a thought that made her grimace. She'd been dreaming about a frog in a gown, and a dark shadow that was chasing it. It was a weird dream, she had to admit but then again, weren't all dreams were like that?
Nancy got dressed and started brushing her hair in the mirror. Today, her hair was light chestnut brown, with soft curls throughout. She tied it back with a red ribbon and wondered how times her hair would change today. Her eyes were dark brown, slightly contrasting with her hair. She woke Apathy, who was still sleeping and helped her get ready. Nancy then, with Apathy, waltzed down the stairs into the common room to meet Michael.
"Hiya!" she said brightly. "Let's go to breakfast shall we?" and she started to walk out when she saw Michael's face. His face, which yesterday was radiant with happiness, looked scared and concerned. "What's wrong? Did something happen? Are you hurt? "
"Nothing really, I just had a dream. That something bad was going to happen. Strange things were happening last night with Professor Dofoogle and I have a feeling this is just the beginning." He looked away. They walked into the Great Hall and ate breakfast.
The day went normal as usual. Albus Potter was missing from their classes and Mattie Brown had to go to the hospital wing due to being attacked by a rouge Battering Plant.
Around midday, during Charms Professor Grover said," I have very grave news. We have found out that your classmate Albus Potter has been kidnapped. Anyone with news about his whereabouts should tell a teacher or the Headmaster immediately." The room gasped and someone let out a scream. Nancy felt her hair curl with fright, unfortunately in her case, literally. Her hair was now red with tight curls, which she hated. Her heart jumped and looked over at Michael, who looked as though he had been petrified.

For the first day of school, it wasn't that bad. I met two people, Nancy and Michael. They were real nice.
As I hopped into my bed, I watched all the girls in the common room do the same. My bed was by the window which was open tonight. I watched the stars fly through the navy sky, sparkling like diamonds. Man were they beautiful here. You couldn't see the stars in London.
I just kept on staring at the stars, not able to fall asleep. One of the girls started to snore loudly, so loudly that even when I covered my ears I still heard it clearly.
I wasn't sure what time it was, but when I heard the thump I knew it wasn't any of the girls in here. You could see every one of them from the moon light.
Another thump came from outside the door. Someone was knocking on it. But to knock you shouldn't thump.
Lifting myself from the bed slowly, I grabbed my wand from my bedside table. I know, I haven't told you about my wand yet. It a six inch unicorn horn one, kind of a tan color. Real pretty.
My feet touched the concrete floor, the cold itching through me. Ignoring it, I took steady steps toward the arched door, trying not to wake any of the girls. But the thumping might if it won't subside.
Finally, I reached the door, passing all the canopy beds and grabbed onto the handle. It took me a while to open it, but when I did I was surprised. Surprised to see a boy.
"Um, what do you want?" I tried to ask as nicely as possible.
"I was looking for Nancy, is she there?" he asked.
His eyes were green, like fresh summer grass.
"Yeah, obviously. But she's asleep and I don't think we should wake her..." I replied with a whisper.
"Alright... then can you help me?" he asked, his face filled with plea.
"Is it dangerous?" I would do it even if it were dangerous.
With a soft laugh, he replied. "No, maybe. Okay, a bit dangerous. But would you still help me?"
"Introduce yourself first,"
My wand was slipping from my hand. I was nervous, sweating like a pig. Well, this guy was kind of cute, even in this dark moon light but it was a boy and he wasn't supposed to be at the girls' dormitory and that's what worried me. I am a rebel but I do not like trouble. And I don't know how that all works out together.
"Albus Potter, you?"
Potter. No way.
"...will find out soon enough," I smiled.
"Come on, I introduced myself!"
"Fine, Apathy Luanna."
Now a smile appeared on his face.
"Great to meet you, Apathy Luanna."
