I reached the castle and was coughing. I looked behind me and saw Audra was laying there, helpless. I ran over to her and covered my mouth, and threw her over my back and continued running. When I got back to the castle I took a healing vile from my waist and dropped some in her mouth, having her become contious again. I smiled as she awoke. "How ya feeling sleepy?" I asked laughing as I stood up and put my hands on my waist, helping her up.

Teleporting didn't exactly hurt, but it was a strange feeling and it left Audra disoriented. Her feet suddenly moving from the different surfaces left her off-balanced and she started to fall, but Cross's arms still held her tight, keeping her on her feet. She pulled away as soon as she found her footing, embarrassed, and moved toward the rest of the group, mumbling a thanks. She glanced at him. She guessed that some of those bruises still hurt, but he didn't show it. She was still impressed by him. Audra returned her gaze to the group, reminding herself that she was still alone, that no one had ever survived this island. She was already trying to do the impossibe: survive. She couldn't worry herself with other people right now. She had to think for herself, and herself alone.

Cross' gaze followed after Audra as she walked over to the group. He didn't notice he was staring until Wolf came to stand next to him. "What do you think this is?"
Cross' gaze quickly turned to look over the wall out at the red mist. It seemed to be slowly fading, but the eerie feeling that ran down his spine was still there. "Not a clue, but an old saying comes to mind." Wolf turned to look at him. "He was created to keep the balance. Harmony can only be created with light and evil. As the light shines from above the darkness shall slowly creep from the depths to hide the rays."
"What the hell are you saying?" Wolf looked more curious than shaken by the phrase.
"Maybe we're being sacrificed to keep the Harmony between Good and Evil." Cross turned back to look at the group a solemn look on his face. "I feel like there's something on this island and may God help us if we should encounter it."
Audra wasn't sure about all this harmony between good and evil stuff, but she couldn't argue that there was something horribly awful on the island. Even though it was a warm late-summer day, Audra had felt a chill inside her she coudn't shake, especially here in the castle, staring down at the red smoke. "When will it be safe for us to get out of here?" Audra asked, impatient to be as far from the castle as possible. "We should probably wait sometime to make sure all of that smoke clears out before we head back down," Wolf said. They waited a time in silence. "It's kind of odd," Audra said, "it's like the smoke was... leading us here, you know?" Everyone glanced down at the receding red smoke.
