Audra watched impatiently as the two wolves and Natallie played. She thought they were going hunting; not prancing around showing off their powers. Audra made a mental note of each of their powers, wondering how useful they would be. They heard the loud thud of the doors closing and headed off to see who their new companion was. He looked pretty beat up, but he was tough and still walking, defiant of the pain. Audra was impressed, but didn't show it.
"What happened to you?" Natallie asked.

*One thing, the walls ringing the island have a kind of magical barrier. You can't break them, teleport through them, or fly over them. The island is basically a giant cage.*

Wolf:

As Wolf came to stand beside his new companions. As he moved towards the latest arrival the hair on the back of his neck stood on end. Danger. Run. Hide. The Insinct whispered to him. Sniffing, Wolf caught the scent of rot once more. The smell had thickened to the point where even a scent blind human could percieve it.

He saw the others grimace in disgust and glance around. Trying to locate what was causing the odor. Wolf spun around, staring into the depths of the woods. That was when he saw it.

A red mist crept along the forest floor toward them. Worming it's way between the bushes and trees. "Uhh... Guys. No offense, but... I think we need to leave, like now."

*The Instinct is something Wolf developed from shape shifting many times, basically he's more in touch with his survival instincts then most humans. His is so highly developed it often seems like a force all it's own. It is not a part of his power. Simply a side effect from repetive use.*

Natallie-

I turned to Wolf. "What?" I asked. Then I saw the mist. I grabbed Wolfs hand and ran as fast as I could through the bushes, and climbed the mountain. "Here! We need to stay up here for a while until this clears up!" I screamed from below as everyone looked up at me.

Glancing around, Audra didn't see anywhere better to go than up the mountain, so she began climbing for all she was worth. Faster, faster, she thought to herself as the smoke licked at the trees and bushes below them. In a way, she was glad for the smoke. If any of the other Forgottens were dead weights, this would be a chance for them to be gotten rid of. Most people would think the thought awful and cold, but Audra knew that was how things worked. She'd kept her sister and herself alive for years, and Audra knew if you weren't strong enough, you'd die sooner or later. In this case sooner would be better than later; better for the food supply, which, if the smell of the smoke was any indication, was about to become really limited.

Natallie-

I looked at Audra and smiled at her. "We can Hide in this cave or something." I pointed to where the fire was and ran over to it.

*Errr... Not a fire, It's a kind or crimson fog. I just picked red because I wanted it to be an unnatural color.*

Wolf:

He let the others drag him along until they began to make their way into the cave. Wolf yanked his arm out of Nattalie's grasp. "Are you guys blind!?" He demanded. "That is not a fire. I have no idea what that is, but it sure isn't anything natural. If it were a fire the animals would be fleeing for cover. But there's not so much as a bird in the sky."

The Instinct was screaming inside him now. Wolf turned and scrambled up the last stones to peak of the hill. The island spread out below him in an incredible vista. The forest was wild and over grown but to Wolf who had grown up in a castle. He could see the faint areas where ancient gardens had once grown."

The mist had thickened to a fog, it threaded it's way between the trees as it slowly crept up the hill. It glowed with a faint bloody light. No wonder the others had mistaken it for a fire.

"There." He pointed to the castle on the other end of the island. Even at this distance he could spot places where the walls had caved in. The area around the castle was eerily devoid of fog. Wolf didn't forced himself not to think that that might mean something worse lurked within those walls. "We need to go there."

*Wolf can fly over the mist, Richard can teleport. Zia can copy one or the other and help transport Nat and Audra.*

**I didn't mean the mist was fire I meant I made a fire in the cave. :P **

I turned to where Wolf was looking. "Oh Alright." I smiled and looked at Zia. "Can you transport me there?"

*When did we find out he could teleport?*

Audra was not excited about this teleporting thing, but she decided it was better than this awful, blood-colored fog.
"Can you transport people with you?" Audra asked the teleporter, skeptical. If he couldn't, her and Nat would have to make a run for it, and precious seconds were slipping through their fingers faster than Audra was comfortable with. The boy shrugged.
"I've never tried," he said. Audra resisted the urge to swear.

Natallie-

I looked down at the fog. "I can take this on." I said smiling. "I'm a healer remember? So nothing will happen to me if it touches me." I shrugged.

`Zia Mason~

I glanced over to where Wolf was focused. I could use his power and fly, He was, after all, the one I felt most comfortable around. I came to the decision. "Can I go with you? " I asked Wolf , not wanting to demand it.

I turned to Natalie , she really bothered me for some reason."Yes , you'e a healer, but it is impossible for you to die."

Natallie-

I shot a look at her. "I can die. But only from the inside. Like mentally." I swung down and landed in the fog, and started running at top speed to the castle. "See ya guys there!" I said about a mile away.

*I was just suggesting how they could make their escape. I thought Richard could mention his ability. That's all.*

Wolf:

In answer to Zia's question Wolf grinned at her and jumped upward. Changing on the fly, literally since he took the form of a storm kestral. He beat his wings hard, pumping for altitude until he hit an updraft. He soared up into the sky with Zia trailing behind him. The wind combed through his grey flight feathers as he turned north, flying toward the castle.

Zia Mason

Trailing behind Wolf, I realized how someone could get used to this. Even with the red fog spreading, the forest below was beautiful. I mentally took a picture of the tall trees that spread out like a hammock for the sky and the bright sun that shone through the cracks of the branches.

As we moved farther and farther away from where we began , I noticed that the farther we went , the faster the fog spread , destroying all in it's path. I thought of Natalie , how horribly disfigured someone could get by running through it. What if it acted on her to fast for her to heal herself? I forced those thoughts of death out of my mind out of my head and focused on the problem at hand, getting across the forest without being touched by the fog.

It took a while , but we finally reached our destination. Wolf landed , as did I. As he changed back to his human form , I watched his eyes. They stayed the same ruby color throughout the transformation. Did mine stay the same as well? Now , back in human form as well, I spoke.

"That. Was... Exciting, a- amazing" I was in awe on what I just went through, to have this power all the time would be heavenly. To be able to do that everyday , would be just relieving.

Richard

Cross spat the last remnants of blood from his mouth as he looked toward the castle. "This isn't going to be easy."

"I didn't ask if it was easy. I asked if you could do it."

Richard looked at the woman who was standing next to him. "Put your arms around me."

The woman hesitated a moment, but reluctantly clasped her arms around his waist. "Is it going to hurt?"

"No. The only problem is i can exactly teleport all the way there because i cant see a spot to land. I'm going to have to do multiple jumps in the air."

"What!?" The woman exclaimed has she tried to move away from him, but he just pulled her tight.

"It's ok, I got this." As he ready himself Cross asked, "What's your name?"

"Audra."

"Richard, but you can call me Cross." Before Audra could say another word Cross had teleported about a third of the way to the castle. Within a second he fixed is eyes on a spot above the castle and within another second he was there. Looking down he saw the others and chose a spot next to them appearing almost instantly. The whole trip took about 7 seconds. "There, that wasn't so bad
I will always fight back, no matter what.
