Jonathan
I smiled at Nick, and walked over to where he was holding the food crates.
"You sure you want me helping, after the last disater I tried to cook?" I half smiled at him, and he returned it. I tore off the lids to the wooden crates like they were paper, and placed them beside the box.
"You can try anyway." Nick smiled again at me. There was something incredibly likeable about Nick that I couldn't put my finger on. I admired him, and the fact he was able to keep the whole entorage together.
Codie flipped the pancakes onto plates I was holding, and I passed them out to the rest of the group with polite nodds. I tried not to notice Codie as she worked, but it wasn't easy. She was beautiful. All of the girls in the circus were. And therefore they were impossible to talk to.
After everyone had a plate, I took a seat next to Adam. We had maintained a friendly relationship since I had come across the circus, and I had a decent amount of respect for him. There was something about him that unnerved me and kept me from truly trying to develop a friendship with him. I was uncomftorable with the fact he could litterally get inside my head.
I nodded my hello, "How are you?"
