Delariva Des

"Fine, make it so and I will ensure Fidelis' safety." I said.

Maat reaches out and lightning comes forth from her finger's and zaps around me. And I make it a duty to guard Fidelis. And soon I'm gone disappeared from the courtroom of the god's.

Fidelis

When I came to, I was in bed with Arlan holding my hand. I sat up and looked at the time. I was out for only twenty minutes. I got on my feet and put on my vest. "Stay here a spell, Arlan. I have a place to go. I'll be sure to come back before sunrise." I kissed his cheek and made off to Delariva's castle. It's been five centuries since I last set foot there, so I wasn't sure whether or not I was welcome.

Kira

"I'm tired of waiting Batazar! It has been five centuries since mom has passed away, and now I grow tired of waiting for her return!" I demand

"Kira, I can't allow you to go against your mother's wishs" Queen Baltazar replies calmly.

I curled my finger's my anger and rage demand for the man who sired me, my long black hair wild from my anger.

"Then how much longer do I have to wait? I want to kill my father and send him to the gods for judgement of what he's done. My mother would want it!" I reply demandingly.

"Lady Baltazar! A man has has arrived demanding an audience with you." A guard comes in.

I snear from being interrupted but soon join Queen Baltazar at her side as the bronzed man walks in and center's himself on the floor as guard's come to the front of Queen Baltazar guarding her.

"What is it that you want Vampire King?" She says in an angered tone.

Fidelis

I could tell I was very much unwelcome in the castle. Instead of Delariva, the castle was ran by someone else. A young girl of seventeen with long hair like Delariva which was black as night, skin as bronze as mine, nails painted red as blood, grey shirt under a black jacket with jeans to match, and the deepest of blue eyes I've ever seen. She almost resembled Delariva. I stayed calm as I spoke with her. "I was hoping to have a private word with Delariva. Does she perhaps live here?"

Kira

"Madam Des is no longer with us." Queen Baltazar said.

I watch impatiently as I remember my mother words to wait for her return from the underworld, it's been five hundred year's since her death and now I seek the man who made her kill herself. This man seems familer for some reason, where do I remember this guy from exactly?

Fidelis

A part of me fell apart. Delariva wasn't the mistress of the castle. It felt like I was at fault for her death. After all, I left her after learning that she was the cause of Allan's death and Arlan's appearance. I thought to myself in privacy, You should've thanked her for giving me Arlan instead of losing my fury at her for taking Allan from me. Then maybe she wouldn't have been dead for these five centuries. It's too late for that, now. The damage is done and I'm responsible for it. Gods, forgive me for what I've done. I kept my eyes on the girl. "If she's gone, then that makes you the mistress of the house. Forgive me for saying so, but your skin tells me you're of Egyptian descent. From which side of your roots, I don't really know for sure."

Kira

"Yea on my dead beat dad side I suppose mortal." I said slightly annoyed.

"Kira!" Queen Baltazar yells angerily.

"Go to your room, this is a very delicate matter." She says.

"But-"

"No butt's!" She interrupts.

"Fine, I was going to go to the roof anyways." I retort.

I get up and walk off up the stair's where I was soon out of ear shot.

Kenia Baltazar

I sigh not knowing how to control Kira any longer, she was like her mother. When I was sure she was out of ear shot, I stood to face Fidelis and dismiss the guard's.

"You shouldn't be here, your in grave danger Fidelis." I said.

Fidelis

I looked at the vampiress who addressed me. The guards were dismissed with a silent command. That told me she was the new vampire Queen. Now that Victoria was gone, I was offically the eldest vampire in the world and unchallenged vampire King. "I've been in danger many times in my eternal lifetime. I'm not afraid of anything..." I looked around to be sure nobody's earshot. "...except a torch and being left in the sunlight." I crossed my arms against my chest and raised my brow. "What makes you say I'm in grave danger? I've been through enough trouble to last me over fify lifetimes."

Kenia Baltazar

"It's because Fidelis, Kira weilds unimaginable power, something she was gifted with when she was turned. Even I fear her if she were to challenge me to become mistress of the castle. I fear that she may challenge you to battle to avenge Madam Des, blaming you for her death." I said.

I watch the stairwell in case she comes back, I didn't want to give her any idea's for the future. I turned back to Fidelis as I wait for a response.

Fidelis

Kira? Was that the girl's name? I tried to keep calm, but after hearing what Kira might be capable of made me uneasy. "She doesn't even know me. She thought I was mortal, so I'm safe. As for Delariva's death, I admit I'm at fault because I left her after giving her a scare. However, Kira shouldn't hold it against me. I came to apologize to Delariva and thank her for giving Arlan to me. In modern terms, I came to make up."

Kenia Baltazar

"The best thing I can tell you Fidelis, is to endure Kira's wrath and find out the truth behind Kira and tell her who you are. But I do not even know how she'll react, I don't know how you'll react when you find out the truth about Kira. The truth is not for me to say Fidelis." I said.

Fidelis

I was a little uneasy, but I hardly knew the girl. I might have to get to know her more before going against her. But that was if she was the threat Anubis warned me about. "Then let her come. I can't harm women like her. Even at 5537 years of age, I'm still on a strict no-women-or-children diet."

Kenia Baltazar

"Fidelis, it's kill or be killed with Kira, she blames you for Madam Des death and will kill you to avenge her. By now Kira will be on the roof of the castle, if your truely ready for battle go up and meet her where Madam Des died." I said.

Fidelis

I raised my brow. "I'll have to know where Delariva died. However, I rather would prefer to know Kira from her own point of view. It's been a long time since I last spoke with another vampire who wasn't Arlan." I adjusted my vest, trying to prevent it from rubbing against my shirt and pinching my arms. There's been a lot of times when I hate leather, but at least I rarely complained about it.

Kenia Baltazar

I sigh, either Fidelis was real stupid or real brave.

"There is a stairwell to my left you can take it leads directly to the roof of the castle, but be forwarned, once you find out the truth about Kira and she finds out who you are then be ready for the fight of your life." I said,
