I stopped where I was and told myself in Egyptian to calm down. Once my skin regained its bronze tone, I looked at Allan. "Courting is an old term, dear heart. It's almost like what your modern tongue call 'dating.' It's been three millennia since I last courted someone, but after that I just stopped playing the old game of courtship. I decided to just use my physical charm to lure in prey or innocent girls to play with." I sat down at the table. "I still can't believe that for once in my eternal lifetime, I'm the one being courted instead of doing the courtship."
Look down and show some mercy if you can.
Look down, look down, upon your fellow man.

I study him before sitting at the table too, setting the bag of blood between us.

"Oh," I simply state.
I'm never what I like
I'm double sided
And I just can't hide
I kind of like it
When I make you cry
'Cause I'm twisted up, twisted up

"Miss are you ok? Miss!" A man says coming near me.

Despair and sadness turns to rage and anger as the man draws near, I jump up and grab him digging my teeth into him as he doesn't get a chance to defend himself. He falls back his arms and legs spread as I quickly drain him dry my bloody rage knew no bounds. I get up and look down on my prey his eyes lifeless, my senses hightening to extremes as I smell vampiric blood on the air, Fidelis' vampiric blood. I soon chase after it like a cheeta towards prey, flying down street's soon coming to an appartment building the scent urges me on moving up the stair's soon bringing me to a door that I knew was his, I step back readying a punch and thrust forward punching the locked door. it busts off it's hinges and falls back to my might, I see the two off the other side the room I raditated pure anger and hatred.

I jolted. She broke through the door. I growled at her, my skin turning pale. "How dare you come into my residence uninvited. I made it clear to you that I'm the vampire King, so you should've left me alone. I don't have any time for games."

I march up to Fidelis and not even hesitating I punch him right across the jaw and he falls backwards he get's to his arms holding his jaw and I yell at him.

"That's what you get for toying with my emotion's jerk off!" I yell at him

He looked relativly surprised by my sudden explosion, I soon turn around and stepping away and go to the door moving over it, I stop for a second cooling my anger.

"That's what you get...." I mumbled repeating my words.

I held my jaw for a moment, then set it back in place. "What did I ever do to you? I never 'toyed with your emotions' in my eternal lifetime. I get the fact that I deserved that hit, but you really didn't have to be rude. I'm still mad at you for invading what was a flawless lesson to my next generation."

"Oh stuff your "flawless lesson" you won't even open up your eyes and see what you had before you." I said in a angered tone.

"What you still might have before you." I said in a whisper.

A tear runs down my face as emotion pure sadness comes over me, for four thousand year's I had not had any luck with men and even now it happens again. It looks like I would be alone for my eternal life.

I knew she was courting me, but I didn't think she meant it. I was still mad at her for ruining Allan's lesson. "Just what did I ever do to you? Hm? You tell me."

I shook my head as if to say no but took a breath.

"You never did anything to me, the only thing you ever did. Was steal my heart, for three, thousand year's I watched from a distance. Watched and admired you, I was afriad though the year's to ever approach you directly until last night. And now all those year's just seemed to go to waste." I said in a slight crying tone.

I studied my arm. I was still pale. "Three millennia of watching me? I've spent two more millennia and a year alone until I stumbled onto my new generation. I was courting until I was 2019 years old. After that, I stopped altogether and went on being a gypsy soul until I decided to settle down here in the city. Of all the male vampires in the world, why me? You tell me your story, since you seem to know mine."

I took a deep breath finally calming my emotion's down, I folded my arms and leaned against the wall still turned away from him. This was going to be a long night.

"Back in britan when I was still in my teen year's I had gotten courted by a master vampiress who craved my body and used me for pleasure and blood. Three year's after a rival vampire king had broken in and started feeding off her other blood servant's, one by one we fell like flies drained of blood unable to live. When it came my turn I screamed out for my mistress who soon came and killed the rival king, but not before I was nearly sucked dry and turned into a vampire myself. Afterwords I had started to learn how to hunt and attract prey using my body year's had gone by and two millenia later, I came across you, a powerful prince who had the women at his very finger tips. I became scared to even come near you and so for next three millenia, I had refused men who wanted to be my mate and saved myself for you.." I said.

I studied my arm again. I was slowly regaining my natural skin tone. A powerful prince? Flattering, to say the least. Refusing so many others just to have the courage to encounter me? Bold for a young woman. Gods, she was slaughtering me from the inside. It was like she did everything she could to be mine. Like I once told Phillip and Marlyn, courtship was pretty rough these days. This one could give the apartment the much-needed woman's touch.
A part of me hissed snake-like in my ear. Was I thinking crazy? I admitted to Allan that I loved him and gave him my word that I wouldn't replace him. If I took this vampiress now, Allan would think I was going to replace him and make my word be a lie. I didn't want to hurt his feelings.
I looked at my arm. I was fully bronze. I put my hand on her shoulder. "Very well, then. Here I am. However, I have a condition. I need a slave for my new generation. Just because you want me as a mate, doesn't give you the right to replace my new generation. He's the only live one I got."

I look at him finally showing how annoyed with the fact of his status, but quickly relent. I take a deep breath and look at the both of them, thinking of how far I would have to go. Surely it wouldn't last forever, would it?

"Alright then, name how many and what kind you want, female or male. You name it and I'll bring as many as I need to finally show you how far I'll go for you." I said quickly.

I put my finger to her lips to stop her from saying more. "Just one will be suffice. What kind he wants is his choice, not mine." I looked at the clock. Sunrise was coming. "For now, we must return the door to its proper position and rest for the day." I helped them get the door where it belonged, then led them to my room. "You'll have be behind me for now. Allan rests in my arms." I took him in my arms and laid down in bed, silently praying to the gods if this wasn't some kind of punishment for not being there for Allan the night he was attacked.

Hungry and confused by my own onslaught of emotions, I lay beside Fidelis and let him hold me. I don't give him the satisfaction of holding him back though, something bitter building up inside of me. He'd just confessed his love to me and is letting another person lay in the bed he'd said was ours. Someone who stole my meal and had us go to sleep hungry. Someone he'd swore he'd rather be locked in his room forever if he ever saw her again. What's wrong with me?
