The Moosehead Tavern [1]

"Oh crap..." I said. "That's not good," I frowned. "Is there something I can do to help?" I asked resting my arms on the counter.

"No, it's normal for him." Jace says. "He won't go over the top with his stupidity anyway."

I bit my lip, "Well, that sucks." I said looking at my hands, Cuts all over me, my arms my face and my stomach. "Well, on the bright side, I broke my ankle." I said laughing. "I tripped on a root from a tree and fell." I shook my head.

Jace chuckles. "You're happy about that?"

I shrugged, "I could've broken an arm." I said laughing. "Or I could've died. So I'm greatful." I looked at my ankle and it was wrapped in emergency cloth. I looked up at Jace again. "I'm so freaking Tired. I didn't sleep for three days, I've been running."

"Oh, well get some sleep then." He says.

"Yeah, I know. I have to go back next year, thank god." Iaughed and turned foward. "So, where's Mitch? When did he leave?" I asked looking around the room.

"Oh, he kind of fell in love with an elf that came in here and followed her right out." Jace says. "Haven't seen him since yesterday."

"Ha, wow." I looked at Jace closer, getting a vibe that he looked different. "You look different." I smiled. "Oh and speaking of looking different, Hades wanted some of my power so when I wasn't looking he cut off some of my hair. I mean, it's still long but It's shorter now." I laughed. I looked at Jace again And squinted, "Maybe
i'm just going crazy now." I looked away And Took another sip of my drink.

"You aren't crazy." Jace smiles. "I don't know how I can look different, but you aren't crazy."

"You always say That I'm not crazy." I kissed him and smiled back at him.

Jace shrugs and kisses her. "You aren't."

I shook my head at him and smiled. "Do I look horrible?" I asked laughing, I never ask a guy that but, I really needed to know. I had cuts all over the place and Jace smiled and shook his head. "You're beautiful."
I blushed and smiled.

Jace smiles at her blushing.

"You should know that." He says.

"How should I know that?" I asked smiling.

I looked into his eyes again, and said without even noticing I did-

"You are so cute." I covered my mouth and he started laughing. Then the music turned louder and a slow song came on. I stood up, and smiled at Jace. "Wanna dance?"
