The Moosehead Tavern [1]

"He's gonna come at me any second." I said looking back at Mitch. I kissed Jace on the cheek.

Mitch stands and steals Jace's drink, downing it all.

"Would you mind if we took a little break?" He asks Rayah. "I need to recharge, so to speak."

"Sure." I said laughing. I downed my drink. Then my phone rang. "Be right back."

I walked outside, my mom was saying something about me coming back early, Jace and Mitch seeing me yell into it. I slammed it shut and walked back in. "Sorry about that."

"What was that about?" Jace asks, his voice slightly slurring.

"I need to go back early..." I said looking at him. "I have to go home tommarow night," I frowned.

Jace frowns.

"That sucks." He pouts. "W-when will you be back?"

"Hopefully in a day." I said, "Well, If I make it that far." I shrugged, "I promise I'll come back right after."

Jace nods and kisses her, wrapping his arms around her.

"Please, do come back."

"I will. My mom thinks that I should leave now so that I can get it over with." I said getting up. "Bye, Jace."

"What?"

Jace sighs and realizes she might be right. He kisses her.

"Bye, Ray."

A tear ran down my cheek and I started walking towards the door, I looked back, and then quickly pushed through the doors and transported myself to the underworld.

Okay so I have an Idea, how about- Jace is waiting for Rayah, and curious on wether she'll make it or not and then in like 2 days she comes or something.

Jace watches her leave, the alcohol numbing the true heartbreak inside.

:3 days later:

I has bruises, cuts, and Looked horrible. But I made it, Hades almost killed me. I tried to remember where I told Jace I'd meet him. That Tavern. I transported to the doors and pushed through it. I saw Jace at the Bar, swirling around his drink. I snuck up behind him, "Hey."

Someone wraps their arms around Jace's waste and he jumps, spinning around to find a banged up Rayah smiling up at him. He flashes a smile and kisses her, picking her up in his arms.

"I'm so freaking glad you're okay!"

I smiled, "It wasn't easy." I kissed him. " I missed you, Jace." I hugged him. "Well, the good thing is he gave up." I said smiling. "But he almost killed me." I said stupidly.
