The Moosehead Tavern [1]

I relax as he wraps his arms around me. I giggle inbetween breaths. I lean closer.

A tall sleek woman walks into the tavern and finds a couple lost in their affection for one another. "There you are Jace, I've been looking all over for you" She pulled out her gun and pointed it at them.

I look over to the girl, "What are you talking about?" I said concered. I grab Jace's hand and bring him off the chair.

Jace sees the woman with the gun but can't react, too far gone to be able to. Rayah pulls him to stand and he wobbles a little.

I look at Jace. "Who is this?" I asked. "And can you please be honest with me?"

"I...I think it's...Who are you?" Jace asks, confused and dizzy.

The woman smiles, "I can answer for myself thank you. My name is Sphinx but I'm a leopard. I've come after Jace if you don't mind moving backing away so I don't hit you by mistake.

"What do you want?" I asked angry. "No-one hurts him but me."

Jace flashes a smile at Rayah's comment, flattered at that comment.
"Yeah, what she said."

"Haha, so you think." She turned away from the skinny girl. "So you thought you could hide out here and have this thing protect you? I thought you could do better than that now." "Oh by the way some man outside is claiming he's your brother?"

Jace sobers up a bit at the mention of his brother, his eyes darting to the door as Nic bursts in. His brother sees Spinx and pales, freezing.

I look at the girl . "Look, I don't want to hurt you." I said taking out my gun and pointing it at her.

"hahah you're just as nieve as Jace." She dropped her gun on the floor and put her paws up ready to fight. "Come at me bro."

Jace grips Rayah's wrist, not wanting her to do this. Nic doesn't get the memo, lunging at Spinx with his favored knife.

"And your just as stupid as I think you are." I said laughing, dropping my gun. "Now please dont get me angry."
