I read the king's letter five times in slow succession, letting it sink in for the moment. I looked at Brooklyn. "I just had a reply from the king. He wants to attend our wedding. When exactly do you want the wedding? Traditionally, the bride decides the wedding date. Doing it now might not be the best to choose, considering that we haven't picked out anything for the wedding. We might need to give him some time to prepare himself."

Brooklyn|Sanctuary

I looked at Draco and shrugged, "I'll let you decide." I said fixing my hair and slipping my leather jacket on.
I sat next to him, smiling. "When would You like it?"

I thought it over. From what I knew about marriages, some take forever to prepare- almost as long as two or more years. I kept thinking for a while, then made up my mind. "Let's give it a couple weeks. That way you could find yourself a dress and we could prepare the wedding properly. It'll give the king some time to prepare himself." I kissed her cheek, then began writing back to the king.
To His Majesty King Charles,
After much thinking over, it's been decided that the wedding should be in fourteen days from now. That way we could have plenty of time to prepare ourselves. I understand that you're concerned about the snag that happened on our way to the preserve, but I promise you I will tell you about it in person. As for the concern of your mate's death, I want you to know that she was a good friend to me as much as you are. For your sake, I'll put the mystery down for you to take care of yourself. Brooklyn and I will look forward into seeing you again. Bring the family if you want to.

I nodded and his decision. "Sure."

I stood up and walked back over to my bag, and pulled out a book. I climbed onto the bed and leaned against the frame, opening it and started reading.

Aurora|Locus Hotel

Christian and I had a wonderful day in the Sancturary, there was so much to do here. First we went shopping for clothes and the Christian bought this cute little cabin that we would stay in when we returned. Then we went out to lunch and we talked and tried to learn as much about each other as we could. Right now Christian and I where cuddled up in our bed at the hotel. He was nibbling at my neck playfully distracting me from the tv.
"Christian stop it you're gonna leave a mark." I pushed him back and we stared at each other. He took my hand in his.
"Aurora, I know we've only known each other for a short time and all but I've never felt this way aboout someone else before. I love you Aurora." Christian said. I gasped and launched myself into his arms.
"Christian I love you too. I can't help but feel this way even though others may say it's wrong." He held me tightly-but not tight enough to hurt- and lifted my face up so he could kiss me.

It was beautiful in the sanctuary. I really wanted to get out and do something. I heard there was a really nice shopping square near the gardens. I closed my book and stood up, putting on a cute 'Peace' necklace. I sighed and leaned against the dresser, looking at Draco. "I'm going shopping. You wanna come?" I ask him.

I stretched my limbs, grunting a little as the pain from being tortured for intel poked at me like knives. Once I was loose enough to move about without feeling pain, I went to Brooklyn's side. "Of course I do. As long as you don't go in a bridal store with me peeping around."

I shook my head at him, chuckling. "Promise." I grabbed my jacket and grabbed his hand, walking out the door. The first store I saw was a cutr little store that had simple clothes. I walked inside and saw this cute little top, that had a ruffly bottom and was meant to be tight. I got a small and walked into the changing rooms to try it on. I walked back out with it on, "What do you think?" I asked Draco.

I wouldn't let myself lie to her. "It makes you look drop-dead hot. So good, I think I'm going to die. Makes you so hot, you're to die for." I wasn't lying to her. She was just so good, I couldn't think of a lie to tell her.

Brooklyn|Shopping

I chuckle at what he says. "I think your over-exagerating, Draco." I smiled wearing it out. I reach into my back pocket to pay and I take out my credit-card, sliding it to the cashier. I leaned against the counter. When he gave it back to me I grabbed my bag and slung it over my shoulder. I grabbed Draco's hand and started to walk out with him by my side.

Draco Pacis | Shopping with Brooklyn

I stayed at her side, holding her close with my hand on her hip. "What can I say? I was being honest with you. It's something I don't do much."

Brooklyn| Shopping

"Yeah, I know." I chuckled. I looked around and smiled, "I'mma go back to the house, I need some rest." I sighed. "Are you coming?"

Draco Pacis | With Brooklyn

I led her to the house. "You and I both need some rest, after all we've been through together just to get here." I set her bag on the floor of her room. "Call me crazy, but is it fine with you if I rest in your bed with you? I'm not intending to mate with you before the wedding. I know better."

I nod, smiling. "It's fine with me." I sit on the bed and lay down, running a hand through my hair.

Draco Pacis | Sanctuary

I laid down beside her and held her in my arms. As promised, I didn't attempt mating with her. I knew better than that. Some might call me old-fasioned, but the rule was to mate after marriage. I slept with her in my arms, holding her tenderly and lovingly against me.
