I stood there thinking for a bit. and I said "Fine' but if I find anything stolen its your head on a stick. I put my hand out And shook hers and let go. "But what about her." I said pointing to the girl standing in the corner.

I couldn't believe my parents told me I was in deep trouble. I knew straight off that I was in trouble, especially with Aayta and her royal family. I still wanted her to apologize for insulting me when I was only treating a wounded Dragonborn. Aayta should've known better than to disrespect a half breed like myself in his face like she did. I may be half dragon, but I still had feelings like a human. No one was my friend because I was half dragon and I thought Aayta would be friendly to me since I was different from other people, but hearing her insult me proved me wrong.
Look down and show some mercy if you can. Look down, look down, upon your fellow man.
After hearing the mayors plea Aayta made a most uncharacteristic decision . She would for the first time in her life apologize AND ask for forgiveness. The only problem was she wan't sure how to come about it. She had to reflect upon the times when someone asked her mother for forgiveness for a crime. They were always were on their knees begging. Aayta disliked this idea, but never had seen it done any other way. So she decided that was how she was going to apologize if she wanted to do it properly.
Aayta found Baltazar Drake at the edge of the forest. She marched up to him and before he could say anything, knelt down and said,
"Noble Baltazar, I'm sorry for having insulted your noble kind. I beg you to forgive my ignorant and haughty actions. Even though I am a princess, I do not have the right to insult people. But please consider my point of view. You may think you have no friends, I have even less. Many think your kind is rare, at least there are some like you, there is only one eleven princess alive at a time. Your parents may not be with you all the time, but at least they love you. I have none of these things so I turned bitter and cruel. Everyone was mean to me so I became cruel to the world. I didn't want you to get hurt by the evil Cinderwitch so I tried to stop you the only way I knew how. By yelling and hurting. Listen to my plea and forgive my actions."

Cinderwitch | Her cave The woman wizard had stepped outside. I didn't know if she was going to come back and join us in searching for the treasure or not. Hopefully not. One wizard was more than enough to share the gold with. "Fair enough. If she wants to help us out, fine. The deal stands - for now." I laced my fingers on the table in front of me. "In the mean time, we can't take the place by force with just the two of us. We'll have to be stealthy. I have a... contact on the inside that I just might be able to work some information out of." I swished my tail and twirled my hair around my finger with a sly smile. "Have you got some sort of invisibility spell? Cloak of Darkness? Camoflauge? Anything we can use to get in unnoticed?"

"Well let me check in my spell book, do you have a cloak of some sort? I said flipping through the very thick book. "Yes, behind the witch on a rock." She said picking up the food up she threw all over. I looked for 2 hours and finally "AHA, I FOUND IT! I said in an excited tone. I started muttering words. Finally there was an invisibility spell in his hand. The witch moved and i cast the spell on the cloak "CLOSE YOUR EYES. I said putting my hand over my eyes. The cloak was invisible see through you could see the rock on the other side.

Cinderwitch | Her cave "I see," I said. "Well, actually - oh, nevermind. The question is, will it make me invisible?" I picked up the cloak and wrapped it around myself. Sure enough, you could see right through me. I fastened it around my neck, an evil grin spreading across my face. "Um, you're a floating face," said Bryan. I pulled the hood up over my head. "Much better." I went around behind him and tapped him on the shoulder. He jumped a foot of the ground and cursed me. I just laughed. This was going to be so much fun! I took the cloak off, keeping it in my hand so I didn't lose it. "Here's the plan: I'll sneak in to the village, gather all the information I can, and be back here by morning so we can plan our attack." I put the cloak back on and walked out of the cave. After wiggling the cloak around so my wings were out, I started to flap them. "Youch!" I howled as the wind tore through the hole in my wing. "Right," I grumbled as I stalked off on the ground toward Argos, "No flying."

"Well, shes gone might as well do some research." I said taking paper and books out of a sack that was next to my bedroll and spreading them out all over the table. "Ooh Theres my potion book!" I said looking through my sack. I Pulled out the potion book and started flipping through the pages. "Ooh a healing potion, Cinderwitch would like this for her wing. Wait where is my cauldron? Oh, there is." So I went, got his cauldron, put it over the fire, and started pouring ingredient in. After about an hour the potion was done. So I went to bed.
I wasn't sure what to do. I didn't know whether to scold her or forgive her. However, it still didn't do justice to the fact that I was only helping another Dragonborn. I didn't hesitate to make my point to Aayta. "Insulting my mother's side of my roots is bad enough, but calling me a filthy half breed is twice as bad as calling my mother's kind overgrown lizards. All I was doing was treating the wounds of another Dragonborn before you came into my hut unbidden. Just because I'm of lower class and the closest you can assume as a guard, doesn't mean I can't have some respect. You of all people should know that." I sighed. "The next time you insult me or others like me, I won't hesitate to leave the village for good. Already I'm in enough trouble because you almost pushed your luck by yelling at me when I was trying to treat a fellow Dragonborn's broken wing. I wouldn't be out here if you didn't insult me. Am I clear?"

"Yes sir, it won't happen again." Aayta bit her lip and shifted her feet nervously as she looked at Baltazar again, "But you do know the truth about that girl, don't you?"

I raised my brow at Aayta. "Don't ever start that way with me. I never question another Dragonborn. Naturally our sides depend on who we grew up with. Even you know I was raised by my father after my mother abandoned me as a baby. Both my parents still keep in touch because I'm their only hatchling. From now on, I suggest you stop treating me like a pile of dung and start treating me as an equal." I took to the village. "Don't you have duties to attend to? I have go about another round of patrol. This is the only service I have to keep my father on his feet."
Look down and show some mercy if you can. Look down, look down, upon your fellow man.
"Ok, I just thought our aim was to protect the town. I start patrolling in the morining when it's my shift. Good luck." Aayta walked off leaving Baltazar alone. She might have to do something about the evil dragon born without Baltazar knowing.

Cinderwitch | Outside Argos I came across Baltazar and the princess in the forest. I hid behind a tree, pulling the cloak back on. After she had appologized, Aatya headed in the direction of the town, but Baltazar didn't look like he was going anywhere fast. I wanted to talk to him, but decided I would have a better chance at finding the gold if I headed for town. They would have to open the gates to let the princess in, and I would be able to walk right in, completely unseen. I tailed her at a safe distance, until I came into the shadow of Argos for the second time that night. "Good evenin', Princess," called a guard on the wall. He then shouted down to his colleagues to open the gates. I slipped in beside Aayta. Unsure of what to do next, I continued following her. Perhaps she would check that the security around the gold was all set for the night. Just as the princess turned onto a promising side street, I stepped on a twig. The crack seemed to echo through the streets like the sound of a whip. I froze mid-step, unsure if the Princess had heard me or not.

I heard a twig snap. I drew my sword and yelled, "Halt! How goes there?" No one answered me but the crickets and frogs. I growled deeply, my wings and tail showing in response to my anger. "Where are you? Come out and show yourself. Come out and fight like a man."
