I know, but a lot of our characters would love to be his friend. Both Yin and Grey are really sweet girls, and they are both friendly. Now Yang, I know, will be a jerk. And I even tried to have Yin be friendly, but in your post you acted like everyone was being a jerk to Nemesis... I was just confused.

Grey Loraine (Rain) Sanders Nemesis mumbles to himself as he shuffles away. I feel sorry for him, so I run towards the guy to walk beside him. "Nemesis, we didn't mean to ignore you," I assure him. He murmurs some more and pushes away from me. I shrug and say, "I just want to be friendly. Feel free to join the discussion."

I stopped cold after hearing Rain offer to let me in on the discussion. In all my life as a loner, no one had ever offered me to join a discussion. Turning back around, I made my hair braid itself as I returned to the others. I said, "Don't think that I can't be of any help just because I'm a vampire. I have abilities too, you know." One of them asked when was the last time I ever slept. I rolled my eyes and replied, "I can't sleep. I haven't slept since I don't know when." I looked at Ryan. "If memory serves, you said you found a door. In my opinion, doors could mean a way out of this confine. There are so many mysteries of my own life that I long to unravel. One of them, the mystery of my roots. I hardly know anything past my present memories, so I intend to finding the truth of myself the minute I'm out of here." I looked around at the others. "If anyone has any objections, feel free to speak your mind or forever hold your peace."

After Nemesis' "speech", Yang scoffed. How pathetic. This ninny is clearly having problems with his self-confidence. I don't think he's qualified for this quest, we need someone strong, not someone who is going to question himself, he thought. Yang was about to open his mouth and speak this opinion to the others but before he could, Yin clasped her hands and smiled, "Well, good! Ok, Nem, you're in! This is going to be so much fun!"
Yang rolled his eyes and wondered if his sister would always be like this, then he answered himself by thinking, of course she is.
"So, now that we've got that figured out, lets get back to the problem," Ryan called everyone back to the task at hand.
"...do you want me to go up to the door?" Grey asked, kind of timidly. Yang noticed his sister protectively put an arm around Grey and knew that she didn't like the idea of her friend getting clobbered in the head.
"No, you shouldn't, you might get hurt." Yang said, and everyone looked at him, shocked that he had showed some feeling. "I mean, we can't afford to loose another person. And I don't think the door will open anyway." Yang said quickly.
Renn nodded slowly, "And I'm not very good at the whole healing thing. I mean, I've only done it once, and even then I didn't really know what I was doing. What if I can't do it again?" he added.
Yin smiled in relief, happy that Grey wouldn't get have to go through the skull-cracking that Ryan had. "Besides, I wouldn't let you go," Yin said.
"So, what do we do now?" Raina said.
"Wait! You guys, be quiet! Do you...hear that?" Kai said cautiously. And everyone closed their mouths and strained their ears.
After a couple of seconds of silence, Yang crossed his arms and said, "What exactly are we suppose to be hearing?"
"Just listen," was his reply. And he did, and he heard it. A deep rumbling. And it was getting louder.

Ok, so pretty much, I'm thinking that the noise could be the government coming to get them. Maybe their helicopter coming over the mountain, or the door creaking open? Or the mountain could be having an avalanche. I don't know, use your imagination! I'm just trying to speed up the plot.

"Wow" I muttered to myself as I felt the mountain shake. Looking up, I expected an avalanche, but instead the door started to open.
This was weird. Something wasn't right. I sensed danger. A threat.
Reaching to my neck, I tore off my necklace, which had a piece of silver, always hot against my skin, hanging from it. Shoving it at Yang, I whispered, "If I turn werewolf, and if I turn on you guys, stab me with it."
"Why do I have to?" He said with an annoyed look, while some of the others looked at me with wide eyes.
"Because" I replied, "You're the only person here who would have the guts to stab me."
So sorry guys, but I've been having some trouble with the site and my internet connection, so I'm sorry to say that I was not able to get on the site this week so I fell behind. My apologies but I'm going to have to drop out. Good luck!
The mountain began to shake under us, and at times it felt like I was bouncing among the trees. I reached out for someone and found a shoulder.
"Kai, you won't need that. Whatever happens we stick together. So don't expect anyone of us to stab you with that piece of silver. Even if you do attack one of us Renn can always fix us up. You guys gotta have some kind of faith."
Another rumble vibrated through the mountain and it looked as if the whole mountain top was coming off. Along with the noise of the mountain there was a loud crack that seemed to come from the ground underneath them.
The ground opened up beneath them, and before they knew it Yin had fallen through. "Yin!!" Grey screamed as she reached out to save her falling in the whole. "Yin!" Yelled Yang who looked panicked. There was no reply. "Ryan, you have to go get her!", Yelled Jewel, "He's to big he'll get stuck!" Yell Kai over the rumble of the mountain top. "What about Nemesis?! He's small enough and he can fly them both out?!" Yelled Raina, who was clinging to Renn's arm.
"Can you do it Nemesis," Yelled Yang, They all stared at Nemesis who was wide-eye in disbelief that they had actually involved him in something. "Uh sure I guess?" "There's no 'I guess', it's either YES or NO." Replied an angry Yang. "Yeah, I mean yes. I can do this."
He gently lowered himself into the small crevice. And they all told him to be careful. "What the heck is this place?", he said to himself, "this doesn't make any sense."
"What do you see?!" Shouted Ryan but his voice was lost in the noise. Nemesis began to climb back out. "Guys you have to come down here! There's a whole lab down here!"
"It's better to beg for forgiveness than to ask for permission."
"Sometimes it's best to leap before you look."

Grey Sanders "Yin!" I scream at the top of my lungs. My hands crackle with electricity, lightning bolts forming in them. I'm so upset as my friend quickly tumbles into the crack in the ground that I don't entirely realize what I'm doing. Zapping a tree in anger won't solve anything. Static pulls my short hair away from its usual flat position against my head. I calm down and get rid of the small lightning bolts. The earth shudders and trembles around us as Nemesis slowly slinks down into the gap splitting the ground. I yell at him to be careful, turning my head as he disappears in the hole. This can't be happening, I think to myself. One hunch and a few questions led to this. I'm knocked back from my thoughts as Nemesis declares, "There's a whole lab in here!" A million things rush through my brain as I face the seam once more. "What do you mean?" I yell over the commotion. "Do you see Yin?" Yang steps forward waiting for a response, chewing his lip in anxiety. "Yeah, but it's pretty bad," comes the echoing answer from the hole. The group exchanges glances, some worried, some scared. I knit my eyebrows together in concern, fighting back the tears threatening to fall. Nothing makes any sense. A laboratory, the door, cameras. What in the world is happening in Nowhere?

btw, Yin and Yang have a weird connection when it comes to physical pain. Whenever one is hurt, the other feels a pain. When one is uneasy or restless, the other will probably start pacing. And the other can literally not live without the other, if one dies (for whatever reason), the other will also feel his/her life drained out of them.
Yin and Yang
Yin was listening intently when the sudden earth-quake hit. She didn't have time think, feel, or imagine anything, fright or excitement. She didn't have time to do anything before the sturdy rock beneath her suddenly disappeared and she was sucked down in a pit of rubble. She didn't even have time to scream, but instinct made her put her arms out in front of her to try to stop her fall. Bad mistake. Yin heard the unmistakable crack of her left arm before her head hit the floor and she felt nothing else.
Back on the cliff, Yang was freaking out, and not to mention feeling unexplainably dizzy and sickly himself. Nemesis had gone down and called back up with news that their was some sort of secret lab. Yang didn't care squat. Screw the lab, does the bastard see my sister? he thought, chewing on his lip. Finally, Nemesis called up with news that he saw Yin, and that she was in bad condition. At those words, Yang started climbing down the hole, not caring that it was dangerous.
When Yang reached the bottom, he ignored the amazing lab that was around him and rushed over to where Nemesis was crouching over Yin's unconcious body. Pushing him aside, Yang looked down at the bloody gash on Yin's forehead and her left arm, which was in a hideous angle that was a clear sign that it was broken. "Crap," Yang whispered quietly. And then he can up to the door and called up, "Renn, get your holy, angelic butt down here so you can fix my sister." And then, for his sister's sake, he added a, "please."

Nemesis
I fell on my butt when Yang pushed me. Getting back on my feet and brushing the dirt off my clothes, I looked around in the lab. Something inside me found the place familiar, but I couldn't put my finger on it. I found a folder of some sort sitting on a table. It was a light yellow folder with a name written on the tab. I looked at the tab carefully. Red-eyed Vampire was what the tab said. Since I was the one with red eyes, the contents of the folder might give me the answers I've been searching for. Hiding the folder under my shirt, I waited with Yang for Renn to come.
