Personality: Nadia is very reserved, reserved and seemingly timid, but she actually just does not have a lot to say. She enjoys keeping to herself but knows that to win this money she will have to work with some one as a team. She can work together but can be a bit hard to get along with as she is always positive her way is the best way. Once you grow on her she will remain loyal to you until you do some thing to break that trust. Though she will protect friends she is her own first priority. She has never formed a bond strong enough to put some one before herself. She remains cool and collected though this some times makes her seem snobby. But once she opens up to you (if ever) she can reveal that she does care for people.
History:
Nadia was an orphan since the age of six. She lived in the slums of the neighborhood when she had parents and simply stayed there when both died of influenza. She brought herself up with the help of her cousin, Grayer. But she never experienced a proper upbringing. While other children were taught math, their letters, and music she was taught how to remain invisible and silent in the streets, how to steal and pickpocket. As she grew up she stopped feeling guilt after stealing a wallet or an apple. The world was an eat or be eaten kind of place and she accepted this.
When she was thirteen when her cousin finally taught her how to read and worked her hardest to find books every since. Stealing a book seemed almost as important as stealing food or money. Reading became her escape from the far less than perfect reality she lived in. Thought her collection of books was small, she read and reread them as much as she could, believing that it was a gift to have such a luxury in a place she lived in. She continues to believe this in her twenties. Though she watched many girls that she was once friends with go into prostitution as a means of making money she vowed never to let herself stoop to that level. She needed money but she would never let any one touch her like that. After reading fairy tales she was a firm believer that her prince would come one day to sweep her off her feet and pay for every thing she needed in life. And if he was no prince then she would even settle for the next best thing the books offered, true love. She became a bit of a romantic at heart.
But as she grew into her later teens, still stealing and working at small odd jobs the ideas of a fairy tale began to fade slightly, true, she wanted the true love rumored in fairy tales but the prince seemed less and less likely. And when on a dark night in an alley a man tried to force himself on her she managed to take his dagger and kill him. Her cousin had talked of how to defend herself before and she tried her hardest to feel no remorse as she twisted the blade in his chest. this was her first kill and she prayed her only one. But it was at this moment that she vowed no one would get in her way, no one would try and mess with her plans and if this meant defending herself like this then this is what she would have to do.
Other: Nadia will accept love but is not specifically looking for it. And her main goal here is the money.
