The Mirror's Curse (full!)

"Huh! You just did!" I remarked triumphantly. The others looked at me with hatred, I forgot about their compassionate little ideas.
"What do you want?! You expect me to be like this little pet?" I spat the final word, looking with detest at hunter, wondering whether he is a one of the forgetful or not, and which answer is worse.

Itaeo Haruon:

We finally caught up with the others just as Kylar lost control and shouted full in Rosalies face. Hector dropped me as once again he threw acid onto open wounds. I hissed at him.

"Come on leave him be! That craps alright to pull with me but no one else." Hector rolled his eyes. I walked over to Kylar.

"Sorry about your girl, but I think you have it wrong." he looked at me with dead eyes.

"What would you know, how would you know?" I chewed my lip, this was going to be awkward to say the least.

"If I'm understanding this correctly she went, for lack of a better word, mad and tried to kill you?" he nodded swallowing hard.

"I was in quite the same situation except I was in your lady's place and two highwaymen in yours. I knew what I was doing the whole time I killed them, yet I couldn't stop. The mirror makes you violent and lash out at anyone near you when you loose control, even those you love best." I stopped trying to decide whether to go on or not. Kylar still didn't look satisfied. I swore inwardly this was not going to be pretty.

"As a reaper I am bidden to reap the souls of the dying and take those who have already died to the netherworld. We reapers are given certain people to take charge of." I paused then after taking a deep breath "

I was there when she died, I was the one to who took her soul to the netherworld Kylar. Even in her madness she still loved you Kylar." I waited for the explosion I was sure would follow.

I had stopped moving, listening to Kyler explode. Interesting. I wasn't going to pick on him for that, though. Mostly because I understood. I hadn't been there, or even in the same predicament, but I understood. I decided this was not a converstion to be listened to, and kept climbing through the trees.

Once I was out of hearing distance, I stopped to wait for them to get moving.

I wasn't into all that mushy woe-is-me stuff, but it made sense for him to be upset. We had all gone throught that, or at least the most part. I had. Not almost been killed, but tried to kill someone else. They were sleeping at the time. And so was I.

I pushed back those thoughts and began thinking about how I would pick on the lizard instead. I know it annoyed him, and it was dangerous, but it was so fun to stand on the line between safetey and being eaten. Several new insults flew into my mind as I sat and waited, and I smiled.

Rosalie Levia

My eyes widened at what Kyler just told me. The Mirror... He came in contact with it and lost someone he loved, or still loves. My Braun scrambles for words to say other than "I'm sorry". Kyler looks very angry. I turn my back away from him, to avoid any glares and such.

"You're not the only one who lost someone you know," I start saying. I could hear Kyler turning around. I cross my arms, still turned away from him.

"Stop thinking about yourself, and get grip," I say coldly. It took me a year to realize that, and it will take Kyler a minute to realize that.

Kyler

"I was there when she died, I was the one to who took her soul to the netherworld Kylar. Even in her madness she still loved you Kylar." The world seemed to slow down for forever. I sank to my knees on the ground. I was numb, both with joy, and hate for the world. As hard as I wanted to, I could never hate the grimm reaper for taking her life. He had no choice.

"Stop thinking about yourself, and get grip," Rosalie said after a moment of silence.

I closed my eyes. She had just spoken the same words I had been telling myself. I was being selfish. I needed to move on; there was nothing I could do to save her life, it was too late. I took in a deep breathe of air and stood up.

"You wanted to know," I said quietly. She started to talk again, but I ignored her. "I'm sorry, you're right. I shouldn't have snapped, I'm sorry. Everyone here is in the same situation as myself." I turned around. "I just need to grow a backbone and grow up," I said quietly. "Thank you, Itaeo for telling me."

Rosalie Levia

After feeling a huge pang of guilt for what I said, so I turned around and walked towards a depresses Kyler. Hesitating, I put my hand on his shoulder.

"Everything is fine now, you know what you have to do now, and that's moving on," I said assuringly. Kyler nodded a little bit. I turned towards everyone.

"We should stop here for now, it's almost sundown," I said. I turned towards the sun, which was slowly going down, very slowly.

I think you are doing great Shadow! Awesome ideas! (Just so you know, I thought it was awesome how you had Itaeo be the one who stole my character's loved one's life. Brilliant!)

Kyler

There was a sigh of relief as we split up to set up camp. I walked into the forest, away from everyone else. It felt nice to be alone again, very calming. I felt as if there was a spirit around the other members of our group, maybe it was that we had all come in contact with the mirror, or that I hadn't been near this many people in months. I leaned down and picked up a log and began gathering firewood. When I had enough, I walked back to where I could barely see the others and dropped my pile.

"Hunter?" I called softly. The dragon's little head poked out from my jacket pocket. "Can you light a fire for me?" I asked. He slithered down my arm and spit a small ball of fire at my pile of wood.

"Thanks, little buddy," I said as he curled up on my lap. I leaned against a tree and slowly closed my eyes. I couldn't sleep, but this would be the closest to rest I would ever get.

I sneered with anger, watching the little rusher serving the fae like this drove me mad.
"Hey, farmer! Just for you to know, I think we have company- and something tells me they're not here for biscuits and cocoa."- I said as I smelled the group of very sweaty man surrounding as.

Rosalie Levia

I began setting up camp with the others. We were pretty organized and co-operative with eachother. I quickly notice Kyler heading off somewhere else. I could hear Hector rambling on about something. I rolled my eyes and stand up. Where's he going off to now?! I thought to myself. I managed to slip away and follow him to a place far away from the campsite. I see his little dragon doing something, and Kyler napping. The little dragon's head turns to me. I quickly put my finger to my lips, indicating the little dragon be good and quiet. I slowly approach Kyler, not making any sounds.

"Might as well give him a good dream," I whisper to myself, and to the little dragon. I lean in, slowly until my lips were a little bit closer to his. I begin hesitating. Forget it, it's for his own good, I think to myself. I give him a small peck on the lips and stand up quietly. He stirred in his sleep a little bit and I rolled my eyes. I start walking back to camp, hoping he wouldn't catch me. He'll probably dream of that girl, I think to myself. When I finally reach the campsite, I find the sun closer to setting.

"Rosalie, you naughty girl!" I say, filled with satisfaction, she turns around, surprised, to find me stand there and mumbles a curse silently- "Shut up, Hector!" She says, trying to look as if she doesn't care, in return, I give her a big, razor sharp fanged, grin.
"Do I get a kiss too?" I taunt her.

After maybe half an hour, I realized that they had probably stopped for the night, so i went back the way I had come. I soon found the clearing where they had stopped, a little fire in the middle, and our small, makeshift group sitting around the edges. Kyler was sitting a ways off, trying to sleep, no doubt, so I supposed that their conversation hadn't ended on a happy note. I jumped down and walked over to the fire, and dropped a rabbit and some birds.

i sat down and stared into the flames, wondering what I had missed. The Nymph and Lizard were arguing, but other than that, therre was only the sound of the fire as I began to cook. I knew that we were not alone, but said nothing.

Rosalie Levia

I roll my eyes at Hector, than smile. "How can I kiss you when you're in that form?" I ask. Hector let out a huff and transferred to his human form. I leaned in, then when I was close, I stepped on his foot hard. I start walking away from Hector and into the camp. Something doesn't feel right.

"Hey, have any of you sensed someone coming?" I asked with an alarmed tone. Everyone mostly shook their heads. Then I remember Hector mentioning something. I quickly run over to Hector.

"Hector! What were you talking about before?" I ask.

(If you need me to change anything Blue, just tell me.)

The panicking part if you'll please, Hector didn't panic just nonchalantly mentioned we are being followed.

Itaeo Haruon:

My well aimed rock hits Hector full on the muzzle.

"Leave her alone you over sized alligator." Rosalie sent me a grateful look as she went back to setting up her area. I wait a moment before approaching her.

" Now I know it's none of my business, but was that some kind of Nymph magic? or do you like him?" Realizing this might sound suspicious.

"Not that I mind in the slightest if you like him or not, I don't care." Now this was suspicious, I was digging myself and ever deeper hole.

"Well I do care it's just that-um" hector was laughing at me and even Aritha seemed less smug and more entertained.

"Well crap. So much for my awesome powers of understanding." I slumped against a tree my face flushed.
