We finished scaring the dolls and I dove for our pile of weapons, scooping up Darsor and holding him close. It probably looked strange considering he was in weapon form, but I felt bad being knocked out while he was in danger, and needed to reassure myself that he was ok.

You didn't kill them. He stated, in shock.

No. There wasn't really time.

How did it feel?

What do you mean?

Not killing. How did it feel to do something for your race and not kill anyone?

It felt... More satisfying than my first kill.

Really?

Don't tell. I still have my pride.

I'm proud of you.

I smiled a little bit and squeezed his black handle before plunging his blade into my left hand. "Come out and play Darsor," I murmured, releasing all of my power into him and waiting for him to appear. And he did. Not in his full form, he was only a cub, but it was all the two of us had power for at the moment. I smiled at him and picked up the small cub. "Welcome back."

I tilted my head in confusion. The army had passed us without seeing us, but then only a few minutes later sounds of screaming and panic came from the direction they had gone. I was still hidden in the cluster of pine needles, fearful the army would return. Good thing I did too! Not long after the sounds of panic, retreating dolls raced past us again, running for their lives. The last of them finally past and their yells became faint and distant.

What could have possibly scared an entire army of dolls? I wondered. Poca shrugged.

No-idea...but-I intend...to-find out. Poca helped me down the tree. It was a slow process with me wanting to hide again at every sound, but I finally reached the ground.
Poca looked to where the dolls had fled from.

There-must...be-Rouges-over there. I nodded and began to back away.

Yea...scary Rouges...let's get out of here Poca! Poca shook her head.

Why do you want to go into a battlefield?! Where there is fighting Rouges, there is danger! We don't want danger!
Poca shook her head.
No, where-there...are-Rouges, there-is...food. No,we..don't want-danger. We-want...food.
I scrunched my face.
So...you think they will just give us food? Would they if we asked nicely? Poca burst out laughing, rolling on the ground in front of my feet. I frowned. I really didn't like being laughed at...especialy when I had no idea what was so funny.

Poca turned to me, eyes mischievous.
No...I'm-not going to..ask-nicely. I'm-going to-take it...slyly.

I gasped. We are going to steal food?! N-no...that's wrong! Poca sighed and sat down.

I-didn't..say we ...I said, I. I want-you...to-stay hidden.

No! Stealing is wrong! I can't steal from others...I just can't!

Don't-worry...I'm stealing-the...food. Not-you. I shook my head.

It is still wrong! Poca gave an irritated grunt.

So-you plan...to-starve-just...because-you-feel...bad?! You'll kill-yourself...just-to-be...a good-person?!

I nodded. If that's what it takes. Poca growled and dug her tiny paws into the dirt in frustration.

You..didn't-complain about-the..dress. I froze and stared at her.

You said you paid for the dress... Poca looked into the distance in thought.

Oh...yea...I-guess I-did...say that. Hehe...I-lied. I exploded.

Poca! Why'd you do that?! Now we have to return the dress! Poca exploded back, yelling at me with all she had.

Sheara, there-is-no..one to-return-it...to! Every-one..was gone! Who-was I supposed...to pay?! The-desk?! Not-only...that, but-we have-no..money!! What-are...we-supposed-to...pay with?! I jumped back, I hated getting yelled at. It made me feel like I had done something horribly wrong.

I'm sorry...

Poca sighed and calmed herself.
No, you're-fine. I'm..sorry-for yelling...at-you. I smiled.

That's okay, I shouldn't have-

We are-getting...off-subject. Said Poca suddenly, shaking her head at herself for getting distracted.
We-need...to-move before-it..gets dark, or-before...the Rouges-leave.
I sighed. It looked like I couldn't change Poca's mind. As much as I hated to admit it, stealing was probably the only way to live at this point. Both of us were running dangerouly low on energy. We wouldn't even last until the end of the week.
I closed my eyes and silently apoligized for what we were going to do.
Okay, Poca, what's the plan?

(Ahh! I'm so excited to jump in! But don't say anything about Sheara of Poca *just* yet. TheRazzle, wait until the post where Poca is accualy sneeking into the camp.)

I turned to the group of Dolls and Rogues, and nodded at the ice one with the wolf pet. She was the leader, and thus the one I ought to speak to. "I'm Reva, as I've already said, but I still don't know your name."

"Everlee."

"Thank you for not killing us Everlee." I told her and picked up Darsor. "I'm in your debt." And with that I disappeared and started to walk away. I paused at the edge of the clearing and looked at them again. Perhaps following them, even if they did not know I was would be beneficial. Then I wouldm't run into them by accident. I could keep it on my terms.

"Wait!" I call, but Reva is already gone. Jared mumbles something about not being able to trust her, but we all ignore him.

"So," Skylar says next to me. "What's the plan?"

Let's go kick some doll butts! Darren cheers in my head.

I shake my head. "No, we need to plan." I wait, thinking for a moment. "Let's stay here for a day or two to recuperate and plan. If the army comes back, well, then we'll just scare them off again, I guess."

Kill joy, Darren mumbles.

Don't worry, you'll get your fill of the fight after you are healed.

I'm perfectly fine, Darren says. He tries to walk over to me, but only manages to limp.

I'm amused by his efforts. Then you'll be perfectly fine in a day or two too.

Darren growls, but drops the subject.

"Do you have a plan?" Davnick asks. He's leaning against a tree fiddling with something in his hands, probably a knife or something.

"Uh..." I fail.

You don't fail, Darren says comfortingly. I'm about to argue with him, but I think better of it.

"Well," I say again. I might as well give all the information I can. "The capitol city is having a festival in a week." I kneel to the ground and quickly draw a quick map of the city. "In the back," I say as I point to the back corner. "There is a door that isn't guarded very well. They use it for traders going straight to the castle. We can sneak in there during one of the festivals and attack the castle."

"Wouldn't that be a slaughter?" Elise asks.

I shake my head. "We don't have to kill everyone. We just have to show them that we are here." I look around at my companions. "Sound good?"

(After they decide on a plan, this would be a good time to train. Shadow, if you want to start Seena and Tige's training, that would be awesome! Anybody else, feel free too.)

Hey, TheRazzle isn't going to be able to post today, so I think I'm going to wait for her tomorrow to bring in Sheara. If that is okay...we planned something so it would just be hard without her.
I'm sorry for the wait!

Tige:

"I wouldn't attack the castle openly." I said looking around. "We do not have the numbers to do so."

"Well what do you suggest then?" Tess asked giving me one of her glares.

"Surprise attacks, do as much damage as we can then, pull back to safety before they know what's hit them. Attack government buildings: The council chambers, courthouse, clerks offices, places like that. We don't want to hurt the innocent dolls, they might be our best defense at forcing the government's hand. We need to gather support before starting a full fledged revolution."

"Baby steps." Seena said nodding slightly, she looked around. "It does make sense- what he's saying."

(We've only had one post in almost a day, so I'm posting again :D )

Seena

"It makes sense- what he's saying." I say. "The castle isn't actually the most important building."

"Are you sure?" Everlee asks, not to be rude, but just to be sure.

I nod. "I worked with the government almost my entire life. The smaller buildings surrounding the castle would be the most important places to hit. But you wont get anywhere near them with these towers." I point to where a circle of towers protect the castle. "They have fire pits to light if anyone looks suspicous. When the next tower sees the fire, they light theirs. Once the last one is on fire, the small army camp here, just outside of the city, will see it and come in to investigate."

"Crap," Tess mutters behind me. "They aren't even that far away from eachother! Just out of hearing range."

I nod again. "That's something else. If we are going to take out the towers, we'll have to do it quietly. If we make one too many noises, the fires will be lit."

"So we just have to kill them before they light the fires," Jared concludes.

Everlee shakes her head. "No, we just have to knock them out."

"You're trying to fight a war without killing?" Davnick says from behind the group.

Everlee nods. "Kinda," she says. Davnick snorts.

"Then that's our plan," Elise asks, changing the subject. "Attack the towers and pray no one sees us?"

"Attack the towers and move to the government buildings," Everlee corrects.

"It wont be that hard," I say. "Most of the guards will probably know me. I can get in and talk to them while you knock them from behind."

"Then you'll need a little more training," Tige concludes.

(I hope this is okay with everyone!)

( i think this plan rocks, Vuzzy!)

Tess:

I like the plan. Simple(not), easy(not), and most definitely not a challenge(not not).
This was going to be difficult. Not for me, of course, but for, say Jared. I doubt he can keep his big mouth shut for more than a few seconds. And Tige. He's a big polar bear, for crying out loud! He's bound to cause attention. But, then again, we do have that nice little cloaking thing.
Tige and Seena went back into the feild to train. i stopped Everlee before she could go too. "Everlee, we still haven't decided when to do this."
She thought for a second. "Three days. That'll give us enough time to train and get to the actual castle." She turned back around and began walking again. Three days is good. Seemed a bit, I don't know, cliche?
"Three days? There's no way!" Jared complained under his breath. He seemed very complainy lately.
"What? Are you saying you need more time to train?" he glared at me and followed the others. "You didn't deny it!" I say as he passed by. i smiled. It's just so hard nOT to mess with him. I heard him grumbling. He then proceeded to send a miniature tornado my way.
Maybe i should "train" with him. I thought.
You mean freeze him in a block of ice with only his head sticking out. nyx said.
You know me so well. I smiled again and followed the rest.

(I'm sorry for the wait! And I am sorry if you guys aren't ready to meet Sheara yet! Also, don't see/find Poca unless you are TheRazzle please. If that is okay...TheRazzle and I just planned this, that's all. Don't worry about it too much! :D )

-Sheara

Poca and I looked through the thick trees toward the Rogues. Our position was great; no one could see us. And if we were careful, no one could hear us. The only problem was that I couldn't see them either. They were far away, past a clearing that divided us, but I could still hear them. They were talking about some sort of plan. Then I heard something about three days.

I wonder what they are doing... I thought to Poca.

Never-mind...that. Stay-focused...Sheara! She was right. I nodded quickly and looked back out towards the voices.

Do...you-remember...the-plan? Asked Poca, looking at me from my right shoulder. I nodded again.

I will stay right here and be completey silent while you go into the camp. I will listen carefully just in case someone tries to sneek up on me. If someone sees me, I tornado myself out of range then hide in the small cave 5 meters away, and wait for you to find me.
Poca nodded.

And...?

I seached my brain for any other information.

Oh! And I will not give away my positon, unless they find me.

Poca narrowed her eyes.
That-means...you-can't-give...away your-position...even-if-they...find-and..attack me.

I nodded quickly. Too quickly. Poca glared at me and sent me a mix of words and feelings that basicly could be translated as: "If you dare disobey me this time, I will break you."
I tried not to smile...and failed.
Okay Poca, I get it. I won't give away my position if you are found and/or attacked. Or at least I will try very hard. Poca sighed and grunted.

-Poca
I searched Sheara's mind, reading her expression and feeling what she felt. She was unsure about whether or not she was going to obey the order, but she was going to try.
Well, that's...better than-nothing. I thought to myself. I focused my attention on the Rouges ahead. I couldn't afford to worry about Sheara following orders right now. There was too much at stake. If I failed my mission...or died...Sheara would starve to death or be killed by the Rouges.
A shiver went down my spine. I-can't...let-that..happen.
I gave Sheara one last warning look, then disappeared under the brush, crawling my way to the clearing.

I looked right and left across the clearing and strained my ears, pin pointing the exact location of each Rouge. There were eight. Two Dolls, six Rouges.
Interesting...what-would...Dolls be doing-with-a...bunch-of-Rouges? I wondered for a second, then shook it off.
But-what...does-it matter? So-long...as they have-food, I -don't care..what-they are.
With that I bolted across the clearing, pressing my body as close to the ground as possible to reduce the already small chance of being seen. I wasn't all too worried about being seen at all. I was the size of a small bennie baby for goodness sake! Not to mention I was a skilled thief and assassin.
I smiled to myself.
I know-I shouldn't...get-cocky...but-it's hard...when-you're this-awesome. I thought jokingly, giggling to myself as I came to the edge of the campsite. I looked over the scene.

To my left and near the back of the camp, there was a doll with blonde hair. She was dressed in a red uniform, it looked like it was from the military. And she was talking to...an enormous polar bear!
Two down...
Then standing by them there was the other doll. A skinny boy doll who was standing next to a girl rouge with brown eyes and brown hair. They were both dressed in normal, plain clothes.
Four down...
Next, on my right there was another skinny boy with light brown hair and blue eyes standing next to a blonde girl. There was also a rather tough-looking girl behind the boy that was glaring at him like she wanted him to drop dead where he stood. All three were rouges.
Seven down...
I looked at the last rouge, he was sitting on the ground with his back against a tree stump. He was dressed in a black leather jacket and black pants. His dark hair drapped over his purple eyes like a limp curtain. In his hands there was a small dagger, and at his side there was a long, deadly-looking sword. In fact, his entire appearence looked deadly.
I made a list of the most dangerous looking individuals.
The bear, the glaring girl, and the dark rogue were definatly the first that came to mind. But I kept a side note on all the others. Looks can be deceiving, I would be one to know first hand.
Now...where-is the..food? I thought to myself. I closed my eyes and inhailed through my nose deeply, looking for the closest scent. I opened my eyes and looked toward the dark rouge leaning against the tree stump.
Target aquired.
I smiled to myself. He was at the very edge of the camp. Reaching him unseen would be a breeze.

I slowely crept forward, quieter than a mouse.
He slid the dagger he was holding into the handle of his sword, then placed it aside. He then looked out at the other members in the group.
He would never even know I was there. I ran to his pant leg and crouched in it's shadow.
The food was in his left pant leg pocket.
Just then he put his left arm up and behind his back to cushin his neck against the wood of the tree, leaving his left side completely exposed.
My smile got even bigger. He might as well have just given me the food. I inched my way to his side and began to make my way to the pocket.

((Good plan guys! lol, and don't worry Blondie, I wont intterfere with any of your plans. I'm just sitting back and watching.))

Reva

I listened to their plan and found myself wondering if it would really work, and maybe it would. I mean, every other revolution that ever happened was set and ready to happen before someone lit the spark. The people were ready for a change from a government because things weren't going right. The rogues hated the dolls because of the government. The dolls were angry at their leaders because rogues like me were making them scared for their lives. No one was happy right now, and taking down the leaders without violence would certainly help the people avoid a tyranny rising up.

This is already a tyranny Reva Darsor hissed, remembering the rogues that had been killed because they tried to start an uprising.

Yes, you're right.

THere's something we can do to help them.

I know.

THen help them.

I thought about it. He was right. I could not only helpp them, but I could make it much more possible, and I would still be getting my revenge, just in a less bloody manner. Darsor, they don't want any help from me.

Are you going to hide then?

Not hide, just stay out of their way.

Invisibly.

Yes.

That's hiding.

I'm not hiding.

That's a cowards choice you know. Hiding and not doing the right thing because you don't think they want your help.

I know they don't want my help.

It's still cowardly.

I almost growled in frustration, but let go of my invisibility. I walked over to them until I had their attention and bit my lip. "I can help you, if you are willing to let me." I said, loud enough for even Davnick to hear.

Davnick

I looked at Reva, curious. My sonar had been running non-stop at a request from Everlee, just in case the army decided to come back, and I had notced her sitting at the edge of the clearing. Looks like she decided to come out and play.

Everlee looked at her, surprise clear on her face. Our fearless leader needs a better poker face. I thought, sarcasm practically dripping out my ears. "Well, if you want to help..."

"No!" Jared shouted. "No way!!"

Everybody started arguing about wether or not Reva should be able to help. After a few minutes, Everlee looked like she was getting irritated. She created a pillar of ice underneath herself, propelling herself about six feet in the air. "HEY!!" She shouted. Everybody went silent and looked up at her. "We are going to put it to a vote! Who thinks Reva shouldn't help us!" Jareds hand went up. Nobody else moved. Everlee looked around. "Going once." Tess bit her lip. "Going twice." Seena shook her head and Tige grunted. "Okay! Reva, you can help."

"No..." Jared whined.

That guy is such an idiot. I thought. But that argument was shorter than I expected. Everlee was really stepping up, even if she couldn't hide her emotions worth anything. Hmm....

I felt a slight pressure near my left pocket and grinned. Oh yea, I'd almost forgotten. When I was inspecting Reva with my sonar, and scanning for the army, I had caught two, little boddies on my sonar. One had stayed behind in a group of bushes, and the other was currently trying to steal a strip of jerkey out of my pocket.

I was positive it was a Pet, and the other figure was its Rogue. I concentrated on it with my sonar. The little thing was fox-like, and about the size of a stuffed doll. It grabbed my jerkey, and started to scamper away.

Oh no you don't. I thought. I grabbed the thing by its tail, and held it in front of me. It looked shocked that I had caught it, with my jerkey hanging out of its mouth. It had ears the size of sausers.

"Hey there." I said, grinning. Nobody else had noticed the little guy yet. "I think you have something of mine."

I reached for the jerkey, and the little thing dropped it, and bit me. Hard.

"Arg!" I shouted, sucking on my now bleeding finger. I put the thing closer to my face, looking right into its big eyes. "That hurt. Now, why don't you tell me why your Rogue is hiding in the bushes over there?"

The little foxes eyes got even bigger, and it started to growl. "Wow, you're so scary." I said sarcastically.

Suddenly, the thing was the size of a cat, and it bit me right on the nose! "AAARRRRGG!!!" I screamed, dropping the fox and clamping my free hand on my nose. "Why you-" I froze, looking at the little fox. It wasn't so little any more. It was the size of a large dog, and growing. I swore, reaching for Fang with my good hand. Stupid. No way a Pet would be so small and helpless. Everybody in the clearing had noticed us now, and they started to run over.

By the time I got Fang out of his sheath, the fox was the sixe of a large wolf, or a small bear. I raised my sword, and somebody screamed. "POCA!!!"

(Hope that works Blondie!! Hee hee I love Poca!)

JERK!! STUPID JERK!
I was just about to finish my mission of getting food into my starving rouge when that PUNK grabbed me by the tail!
How-in the heck..did-he-know...where-I was?!

"Hi there. I think you have something of mine." He said to me while grinning like a fool.

Don't-talk..to me-like I'm-a-kid! I dropped the jerky and chomped on his outstretched hand.
The Rogue cried out and stuck his finger in his mouth.
"That hurt!"
No...really? I thought sarcastically.

"Now, why don't you tell me why your Rogue is hiding in the bushes over there?"
My heart skipped a beat.
How-did...he-know-where...Sheara was?! My mind darkened at the thought of my rouge in danger.
You should-not...have-said that. I thought as a deep growl sounded in my throat.

"Wow, you're so scary." Mocked the rouge.
I began to expand myself, and bit him on the nose to force him to let go.
I landed safely and kept expanding.
I smiled wickedly.

"You're-wrong...to think-otherwise!" I began to say, then heard a word that almost stopped my heart.

"POCA!!"

Please...no... It was too late, Sheara had exposed herself. She had ran across the clearing, and was now flaring her arms around to get everyone's attention. I cursed to myself.

STUPID GIRL! That was harsh, but true. The idiot didn't know what she had just done! According to the dark rouge, they already knew she had been there and were ready for her!
I looked back to the rouge. He had grabbed his sword, but was looking at Sheara.
Wrong-move! I lunged at him, but he turned and dodged just in time. I landed and faced him again.
Never-mind tryng-to..save energy. My rouge-is-in..danger; I'm-giving it-my all! I allowed myself to grow even bigger. I smiled as I saw a glimpse of fear on the rogue's face. Well, to be honest, it was more of a suprised look.
I was now even bigger than the bear.

"I'll take-you down..first, dark-rouge! I won't-let-you...lay a-finger on her!" I roared.

That's when the shock waves started.

-Sheara (About 3 minutes before)

I gasped as I heard Poca get snatched up.I pushed myself through the brush to see what was happening.
A rouge in black clothes with purple eyes was talking to Poca, holding her in front of him by her tail!
Oh no! Poca is in trouble!! He reached for the food in Poca's mouth and got bitten. The rouge cried out and sucked on his finger in pain.

"That hurt. Now, why don't you tell me why your Rogue is hiding in the bushes over there?"
I froze. I hadn't even made the slightest sound from where I was. And even if I did, he would never have been able to hear it from where he was. So, how did he know I was here?!
Poca jumped up and bit the rouge on the nose, then began to grow bigger. The Rouge picked up his sword and faced her.

Oh, crud! Poca can't fight! If she grows much bigger she will kill the little energy she has left!! I need to help Poca!
I jumped out of the bushes and ran as fast as I could across the clearing. I waved my arms madly to draw attention away from Poca.

"POCA!!!" I ran toward the Rogue fighting Poca.

"NO!! DON'T HURT POCA!!" I cried out as I drew nearer. He turned and looked at me. My heart stopped in my chest. I froze in mid-run. The dark hair, the blade, and those purple eyes...there was no mistaking it. Memories of the posters of the most wanted and deadly Rouges flooded my mind. A sketched face of a man described to have purple eyes and dark hair flashed across my vision and echoed off the face of the Rogue. There was no mistaking it. It was him.

I remebered the stories...the horrible stories of this man. Sudden and unexplained death, usless hiding techniques, and no traces but mangled corpses. I suddenly felt numb, trapped by those merciless eyes. The eyes...of a monster.
I opened my mouth to scream, but nothing came out. Time seemed to slow to a stop.
I felt the hairs on my body all stand on end. My silver hair began to lift from my head, almost like it was inhailing to scream. My body gave a jolt, and the ground around be rippled with electricity.

Stupid Davnick, I think to Darren. Why does he always have to start a fight?

He's going to get us all killed, Darren agrees while the pet grows bigger.

We have to calm them down, I say as I run over to the beginnings of a battle.

"POCA!" A younger girl cries. She runs out of the forest in fear, trying to protect her pet. "NO!! DON'T HURT POCA!!" She freezes with one look at Davnick, all panic on her face. I turn to run to her, to try to calm her down, but I'm thrown off my feet as a wave of electricity pulses through the ground.

I try to warn the others, but I'm too stunned to speak. Another shock wave hits and I loose the little footing I was trying to gain. I see a quick image of Skylar before he moves back.

I... have... to... save him! I put my hand to the ground and block myself with a sheild of ice. It crumbles with the next shock wave and I feel the electricity. I push a pillar over to Skylar, and it brings him up in the air, but is shatters quickly and he falls back to the ground.

She's too powerful! Darren says in amazment. How?

I turn back to look at the girl with as much focus and concentration as I can. She looks like she's trying to calm herself, but another wave destracts me.

What... now? I ask Darren.

Stop... her! Darren yells.

(Hope this is ok!)

I crawled to my feet, still a little buzzed from the power that girl had released. She was the most powerful rogue I had ever encountered before, and that wasn't something I was glad to admit. But none of us had been able to stay standing during her attack, and she only attacked because Davnick threatened her pet. The idiot.

I turned to yell at the rogue for attacking all of us when only Davnick was a threat, but she was just a young child. She looked sick and terrified and for a second, I was reminded of myself when Old Kaston found me.

I was ten, and weak. My powers were weak at best, and I was always terrified for my life. I had no family, no care takers, just Darsor. He was a young pet himself, still only in cub form all the time, and didn't know how to take care of a young rogue very well. People spat on us, they tried to kill us. I had never felt so hated and disgusting in all my life.

Reva, you aren't so young any more.
Darsor whispered, pulling me from the memory.

But she is. Look at her, how can the Dolls do that to a child?

It doesn't matter what happened in the past, you have to look to the future.

She is just trying to make it to tomorrow Darsor! I will kill whoever did this to her!

Why dont you just help her instead?

He was right. I had food, she looked starved. Then I will kill every doll who has ever dared betray and hurt her. I pulled a loaf of bread from my pack and held it out, creeping cautiously closer to the girl. "Here, you need this far more than I do," I murmured, coming closer and closer as she eyed me worriedly. "I won't hurt you, I swear." I set down the loaf and backed away, so that she would feel safe taking it.
Llamas do not have six packs

I wondered why we put villains in our stories when we have plenty of them in real life; then I realized that maybe we wanted stories where the good guy wins.
