I woke up this morning so excited for capture the flag. I was just about to call for Lexie, but then I realized she wasn't there. I can't believe that I'm this upset about my siblings going on the quest. At least I still have KJ. Maybe he's not as cool as Jack, but he's still a cool guy.
"Hey, KJ, are you ready for capture the flag?" I asked him.
"Yup," he replied, "who's on our team again? I forget."
"We're with Dionysus, Zeus, Athena, Apollo, and Hephaestus. We joined a pretty decent team."
He nodded. "Yeah, not too bad. Let's hope we win."
I agreed with him. So far I'm 1-0 in capture the flag, and I'm not too eager about tieing it up. We're gonna win, I know it. We both get dressed and walk to breakfast. It's a typical breakfast for the day of capture the flag. The two teams are trading insults and trash talk and the Hermes cabin is huddled in a circle, no doubt coming up with new tricks to play during the game.
I was peacefully eating my breakfast when someone came up behind me.
"We're so gonna kick your butts. You better watch out."
I turn around to see who was talking to me. I smiled, this was going to be an interesting conversation.

I raised my eyebrow in reaction to little Elizabet's comment.
"Really?" I drawl out, looking down at my pint-sized friend.
She nodded, smirking at me. "Definitely."
"I highly doubt that, pixie," I inform her, feigning sadness. "You just can't handle the awesomeness."
She rolls her eyes. "You decide today to act like the normal jerk-wad. Of course."
I laugh, then notice Andreas' face--Andreas' very confused face. I guess not everyone was aware of Ella and my odd friendship--Aphrodite and Ares people didn't normally mix, in a friendship sort of way, anyhow.
