"Seth, Are you alright?" I asked and ran up to him. I don't know why, but I hugged him, Maybe it was the thought of losing him. "I should of never left!" I touched his wound on his face.
"I'm fine," He said moving my hand away from his face.
I got out of the way as Chis started to walk up to Seth.
Chis took his hand and knocked his shoulder into his, "Dude, sorry I wasn't there to help you." He said, then backed up.
Each had their own turn to thank Seth. Why had I left? I could of done it! He just thinks I'm a wimp! Just because I'm a girl, doesn't mean I'm weak, I'm probably stronger then him anyways.

I felt really good about what I had done, but then I looked at Jessica. She seemed mad at herself for leaving me, and also a little angry. I knew I had to talk to her about it, but not while everyone else was around.

"Oh my gosh! That looks terrible." Marcie said, looking at my wound.

"It's nothing. It was just a bear. You took on a whole tiger. Probably twice the size of the bear." I said. She smiled, remembering what had happened. "Besides, it's not deep at all." I touched it, and winced. It burned. "It'll probably just leave a scar. Nothing big."

We all talked for until it was time to go to sleep. I didn't know why, but we all seemed to get closer. Sometimes time in the jungle with just a group of people can do that, but I was afraid it would just tear us apart.

That night, when everyone was asleep, I went to talk to Jessica.

"I shouldn't have left you." She said again. "I couldn't helped. You might not have that scar."

"I'm glad you left. I would rather me be hurt than you." I said. She didn't say anything.

"I know that you could have handled it, but it was too risky. I wouldn't know what I'd do if you got hurt. Especially if it was my fault for not protecting you. I know that you're tough, but you don't always have to be."

There was silence, and then she went to sleep. I stayed awake. I didn't want another bear, or something worse, coming along while we were all sleeping.

I had been asleep for a bit when I woke up. I saw Seth still awake. Saber lay beside me. I ran my hand across his back, "You know, Saber can do that." I said in a wispier so that only Seth could hear. I still had my eyes on Saber, gently running my hands down his back. He let out a purr, "I think he's finally accepted you." I said looking up at him.
"Jessica, are you okay?" He asked.
"I'm fine, why do you ask?"
"Well, you don't seem your self."
"You wanted me to be gentile and not so tough." I leaned into Saber's ear and whispered, "You keep watch, okay?" Saber got up and walked a few feet over and sat down.

Marcie:

I loved eavesdropping. Especially when the two people talking (ex: Seth and Jess) thought I was completely asleep. Yes, this was fun. I was enjoying this part of the night very much.
The two spoke in soft whispers, and I was glad I was keeping my eyes closed. I didn't really like how Seth looked at Jess. It annoyed me. A lot.
No. I wasn't jealous, but it made me mad because he deserved better than any of the girls here.

I knew Marcie was eavesdropping. Her eyes were open and her ear was tilted towards the sky, if that makes sense. She didn't look happy about what she was hearing.

I myself approved of Seth and Jessica. They both kind of belonged together, it was just how they were. I thought it was cute.

But Marcie apparently disagreed.

"You wanted me to be gentile and not so tough." Jessica said. There was some edge in her voice.

"It's not that I wanted you not to be tough, it's just that I wanted you to know that you don't have to be all the time. You're not alone in this." I said. She didn't reply. I decided to go to sleep, now that Saber was on the lookout.

As I walked over to go to sleep, I noticed that Marcie and Camile were both awake. I figured they had heard my conversation with Jessica, but I was too tired to care. I hadn't slept much in the past few days, so when I closed my eyes, I went right to sleep.

I'm going to have them get captured by cannibals now, is that okay?

Jessica

Something sharp poked my skin. I turned over and opened my eyes a slit. There was a spear pointed at my chest, and a man with face paints was holding it. I let out a gasp, and looked over to my companions. They were all still sleeping, but they too had spears pointed at them. I remembered Saber, I looked over at him. He was lying flat on his beck, with a dart of some-sort sticking out of his neck. I looked up at the man holding the spear, he laughed. "You dirty little..." I was cut off by the others waking up. Alista let out a scream.

Marcie:

Okay, so I finally fall asleep, and then one of the Reigning Idiots screams...how dumb are they? I was going to be in a bad mood for the rest of the day now. I grumbled, and opened my eyes lazily. The spear pointed to my throat slowly came into focus, and I followed the spear up to the person holding it. No one I knew...I looked around at the others. Spears were held to their throats too.
I felt like screaming, just like the idiot who woke me up had. Instead I swallowed the scream building in my throat, and pushed myself off the ground. The man holding the spear to my throat yelled at me and dug the spear into my neck so that a small trickle of blood came out, nothing more. Just like a bug bite. But all the others gasped--especially when the man took his finger, wiped the blood on it, and then stuck the finger in his mouth.
"Are you...drinking my blood?" I muttered.
I was starting to get scared. This couldn't be happening. Was someone up above trying to ruin my life? The scene before me held my answer: yes, yes they were.
Well I didn't play games...I won them. I looked at the man with the spear to my throat.
Shrugging simply, I said, "Cannibals."
And that's what they were.

Camile

Oh joy. Cannibals. And just when I had thought the day couldn't get any worse. But I wasn't scared; somehow, unlike with the bear, I knew I could get out of this. I was calm. I had no idea why...

But I wasn't stupid. I knew we were in danger and I knew we had to get out of this. But my seperation from having any special connection with any of my friends made me not as scared... I felt terrible but it was true.

"Back to camp with them, yes?" one of them said, their voice a guttural growl almost.

I smiled up at them. "No way, freakshows," I said. I felt a fist hit my head and a felt a fleeting feeling of terror before I was knocked out.

"No way, freakshows," Camile said to them--and then they knocked her out with a simple punch to the head. I suppressed a laugh.
"Bring 'em back to ze camp!" The leader grumbled...and I realized the leader was the one with the spear to my throat. I gagged.
"Uh, are you going to eat us?" I asked him as he pushed the spear into my back, making me walk forward.
The man sort of shrugged...were these things even human?

How in the world did they speak English? I thought to myself. I looked at Saber, He was probably just unconscious. They like a show, but there not going to have. I look at the rest, they didn't seem to scared, just surprised. I slowly got up, and tried walking over to Saber. The man slashed at my face. I fell to the ground with my hand over my face. Then the man grabbed my hands and tied them to a long pole, he did the same thing with my feet. I looked over at the other, they to were being tied up.
Blood ran into my eye, and across my cheek. Another man walked over to me. They both picked me up and walked off. The others followed, marching over the wet terrain. Everybody else seemed to be saying something, but I couldn't make it out. My head was ringing, And the blood was pounding in my ears.

Camile

I woke up, wincing. I hadn't expected them to hit me there, where he had beat me... where I had begun to stop trusting friends. It was like he knew that I had almost been killed by a knife there, and that fact scared me more than anything.

I kept my eyes closed. I didn't want to ruin my element of surprise- and I didn't want them to know I was awake. I was afraid they might keep hurting me where he had. Bull.

Jessica. I saw her tied to a stick. I had to help her... I saw Seth looking towards her, panicked, and muttered so quietly no one else could hear, not even Marcie (the biggest eavesdropper in the world), "I'll help her."

The man who had thought I was unconcious was dragging me along as loosely as he could without me falling.

I watched as Camile fell to the ground, then I turned and one of the men slashed Jessica. She fell too. Anger surged through me as I looked at my hurt friends. I wanted so badly to beat the crap out of these people, or whatever they were, but they tied us all up.

They brought us to their camp and set us down. We were still tied to the poles, though.

There was silence for a while. The...things had gone off into a tent to do something. I finally spoke.

"We're going to get out of this, okay guys?" I said with a sigh. They nodded, but I knew they were unsure. This wasn't good.

*sorry i forgot i was in this!*
ALISTA

This was retarded. I had never been more scared in my life. I struggled to get away but they tied it tight, i looked over at everyone else, they all looked less scared then me. Was there reason not to be scared? They might EAT us! They lifted the poll, i gasped at the pain im my wrists and ankles. I looked over at jess, hoping for some sign of what to do. She was looking ovr at her tiger, i gazed over at it. Oh god please don't be dead!

*gah sorry WB*

Marcie:

I felt violated. And, also, on the brink of death. Stupid cannibals.
Their camp was made of seven tents, forming a circle around where we were now, by the fire. Ugh. I hope they didn't burn us alive. I sighed. The cannibals had all gone into the one large tent, but they left us tied up to the poles out by the fire.
My eyes searched for a way to escape.
"We're going to get out of this, okay guys?" Seth said, sighing.
Everyone looked at him, unsure. We could run, but we couldn't hide. These cannibals probably knew the jungle inside and out.
Blood still trickled from the cut on my neck, and there was a large bruise forming on my right cheekbone, where he had me halfway along the walk to their camp.
I didn't know what to say to the group of people all tied up with me. No sarcastic remarks...I was blank. And broken.
"I-i-is everyone ok-k-kay?" Jessica muttered low. I looked at her face--it was cut up. Ow.
"What do you think?"I snapped. "Oh. Wait. You don't think."
"Marcie..." Seth warned. "We need to work together to get out of this mess."
The other's nodded.
But I wasn't done yet.
"I thought you said Saber was going to watch camp, so Seth could go to sleep? Because then Seth went to sleep since he trusts you--ding ding ding, boys are idiots--and apparently Saber's more of kittykat then you thought, because we didn't even get a warning growl from...it." I practically shouted.
Jessica went pale. Some of the group looked at me like I was, well, halfway right. But the others shot me looks of hate.
