Survivor (Started but Accepting)

Seth

"Look, do you guys want to get out of here or not?" Jessica asked.

"Of course, but I just don't understand how." Marcie said.

"It's not going to be any better staying here." I added. Marcie sighed, then nodded.

"Fine," she said. Jessica smiled.

"Great, now get some rest."

We all laid down, and slowly drifted to sleep. I stayed up, though, on the lookout in case anything came by.

It was a long night, but finally morning came. Jessica woke them up right as the sun rose, and we were ready to get started.

Camile

I woke up the next morning pretty tired, but ready to go anyway. "Are we leaving now?" I asked when everyone was awake.

Seth rolled his eyes. "Soon, soon," he said. "There's no rush."

"Sorry, I just really want to get out of here," I muttered.

Seth

Jessica kicked me.

"Ow!" I said, jumping up. "What was that for?!"

"It's time to get started." she said. She was already ready.

I sighed. "Fine. Everybody up!" I called. Everyone groaned, but soon enough we were ready to go.

"I can't wait to get out of here!" Camile said. I chuckled.

"It might not be as easy as you think. We're practically in the middle of this jungle. It's going to take a long time."

"Plus," Jessica added, "I've been living here 8 years and I'm not even fully sure I know all that lies in here."

Everyone tried not to think about what could lie ahead. Instead, we all thought of home, and we told stories about our memories. It was kind of fun, but all the time I had this odd feeling that we were being watched...

We tried to keep our spirits up and it worked pretty well. But I could tell Seth was uneasy and as usual Jessica was watching for anything that might be a threat. I froze as I suddenly heard a guttural growl. "Um, guys?" I said quietly.

"Yes?" Jessica immediately turned around to hear.

"I just heard a growl, and-" suddenly, I spotted a dark furry shape walk out from the trees.

"Get back," Jessica muttered.

Marcie:

"Get back," Jessica muttered.
I rolled my eyes and stayed where I was, while the rest of them backed up. I squinted my eyes, trying to make out just what had stepped out of the jungle and intoicai our little clearing.
"Marcie, get back," Jessica ordered.
"Shut it," I sighed, and instead took a step forward.
Jessica kicked a stone. I grinned, but it faded quickly.
The animal now stood directly in front of me; there was a distance of three feet between us, and at least ten feet from me and the group of people quivering like idiots back behind me. I studied the animal.
It was a tiger. Now I had a reason to be scared.
"Uh, Jess...it's a tiger." I looked back at them briefly, and then whipped my head back around to face the tiger. My voice had made it give another low growl in my direction.
Jess gasped.
I sighed. "What now, idiots?"
Jess ran forward by my side, and then froze. I looked at her like she was crazy. The tiger was getting ready to pounce.
"It's not..."
"What?" I rolled my eyes.
"Not my tiger."
"You have a tiger?"
"Had."
The tiger roared, and started stalking forward towards us. I pushed Jess back into Seth. And with that, I grabbed the wooden stake I had made earlier and faced the tiger. I quivered.
The tiger jumped in the air, towards my face. I lifted the spear above my head, where he would land. It went straight through his chest, and the he landed on me as we crashed to the ground. He stirred; moaning. The tiger had been defeated. I pushed the animal off me.
Seth moved forwards with Jess, but the other ones stayed back.
I held my stomach. There was a deep, deep gash on the left side just over my hip. I curled into a ball, just inches away from the tiger.
"You...tigers are endangered, you know!" Jess screeched.
"I...don't...really...care," I gasped.
Now their eyes darted to me, and the found the gash on my stomach. I saw their mouths drop open.
I didn't move, but neither did the tiger.
Seth and Jess knelt by me, and Jess lifted my hand away from my wound to examine it.
My eyelids fluttered, and I breathed in deep, screaming when it hurt.

Seth

"Move away. Give her some space. I think I might know what to do." I said.

Jessica stepped away.

After what seemed like hours, I finally had Marcie's cut bandaged. She was unconscious, but woke up in about ten minutes. After that, it was time to sleep.

"Now we know to be more careful." Jessica warned. "There are dangerous things here."

"I know, I know." Marcie said, not really listening.

"Besides, now there is 1 less Siberian tiger in the world." Jessica added, glaring at Marcie.

"Just get some sleep. That was day one of our journey, and if we keep moving like this we're never going to get out of here. We need to be at full energy tomorrow." I said. At that, they went to sleep. I stayed up to keep guard.

Okay, will post profile tomorrow. Could you give me a quick synopsis of what's happened so far?

Basically, they were trapped in the middle of the jungle and they're trying to get out. Unfortunately, they've already run into some trouble. Marcie got attacked by a tiger...but the tiger is dead now.

okay.... Do you guys think we can slow it down a bit? I'm at a friends house, and I did get to post when she got hurt.

I know they all went to sleep, but...

Jessica

"Your a complete idiot! do you know that?" Jessica screamed at Marcie. "Acting like that will get you kill! For now on you listen to me! We need to put a poultice on that now. Even a cut is very dangerous." Ill be right back. Can someone start a fire?" She ran off.
Jessica came back with a a plant. It had white flowers on it. Re-opening the bandage, she chewed up the leaves. She slapped it. "If you hadn't pushed be back the tiger would still be alive!"
After, Jessica got up and said, "We did go today, We probably traveled a 3rd of a mile."
All jaws dropped. "Yes, yes, I know, we did good! I bet we'll only go a 4th tomorrow."

Camile

As everyone settled down to sleep, I looked up towards the sky. I hoped Marcie would be ok... well, with Jessica I was sure she would be.

As some of us started to snore eventually I went onto my back and closed my eyes. But I couldn't get to sleep.

Finally I did, though my dreams were filled with the screams of my long dead- I flinched.

Ya, we can slow it down.

I can't post right now 'cause I have to go, but I'll try to tonight.

Marcie:

"Shut up, Jessica. The dang tiger was gonna kill me, or all of us, so it's better of dead. It's just a tiger, anyways. Who cares?" I snapped, the pain in my stomach cut making me even more moody then ever.
Jessica rubbed some sort of remedy on it, and I felt like kicking her in the face.
"I care!" Jessica said, in reply to my words.
"Well, I don't care if you care," I rolled my eyes.
Seth sighed. "You need to eat something, Marcie. Get vitamins so the cut will get better..."
"I..." I struggled for words. "I don't eat," I said finally.
Seth frowned. "Like...anorexic?"
"Uh, yeah. It's not because I think I'm fat or anything, I just don't like the look or taste of food."
Jessica said, "Well, whatever. You killed the tiger, great...get some sleep."
I said, "I dont't do much of that either."

Seth

"Marcie you have to eat something or else you could die!" I said, hoping she would listen.

"Look, I'll probably just puke it back up."

"I don't car, you have to try!"

"NO!"

"Well then you have to get some sleep." Jessica said.

"Why?"

"You were the reason that we didn't get as far as we could have today, and you need to be strong for tomorrow."

"STOP TELLING ME WHAT TO DO!" Marcie shouted.

It was quiet for a second, then Jessica finally spoke in a much softer voice.

"You wanted me to help you out of here, and that's what I plan to do. I'm in charge, and I can't help you if you won't listen to me."

At that, she laid down, and we went to sleep.
