Seth

"Uh. The name is Seth." I said. How many people were in this place?

"Well, can you help me out of this place?"

"To tell ya the truth," I said, getting up, "I don't really know how. This place is pretty big, and as far as I know, we're as close to the center of it as we can get."

The girl sighed.

"What's your name?" I asked.

"Marcie."

"Well, I wouldn't try to find your way out by yourself. I've already met up with a tiger, and I thought I heard another one not too far away."

"Great! Just great! We're stuck in the middle of a jungle."

I chuckled, then looked up at the sky. It was a good time to go visit that girl, Jessica.

"I haves to go somewhere," I said. "but you're welcome to come with me."

Sure.

Jessica

Jessica kept walking as the tears slide down her face. She heard someone yelling. Now what could that be? She put the bucket of water down and ran towards the yelling. As she got closer, she could barely make out what was being yelled, "You little rat! Never again will you ride my jeep!" A man said with a harsh voice.
"No, please! How am i going to get back?" Said a shrill high voice.

"Not by my jeep, that's for sure. I ought to give you a wiping!"
"No!" The voice said.
Jessica ran harder, she was pretty close when she yelled, "You will do no such thing!"
The man and the girl turned around. The man's jaw dropped. "You, leave that girl alone! Go back where you came from, and leave the jungle alone!" The man turned back and ran to his jeep.
"What your name?" Jessica asked as the man drove away.

"Alista." she replied. Alista was laying in the mud shacking.

"Come on Alista, lets get you cleaned up."

"This is where I live." Jessica said said walking out the her airplane. They had stopped by the river and got cleaned up.
"Wow." She said in aw. The plane was high up in the trees. There was vine running up and down the tree. She could see a hammock and a platform about the same height of the tree.

"Lets go." Jessica said.

"You mean up? Way up there? Cool!"

"Just don't get to excited." She said with laughter.

ALISTA

I was still kind of angry, how on earth was i going to get home now? She shimmied up the vine, and i followed merrily behind her, i was greatly happy she saved me from getting beaten.
"You never told me your name." I reminded her, halfway up the vine.
"I'm Jessica." We were quiet for the rest of the climb.

When we got to the top i was utterly amazed.
"Wow this is really nice." I complimented her. I looked over at her and she smiled a little.

Seth

We walked through the jungle quietly, making it very peaceful. Finally, we arrived at where I saw the plane.

"Hello!" I called. "Is anybody home? Jessica, are you here?" There was no answer, but she walked out of the plane.

"What do you want?" She asked. I could tell she was trying to sound tough.

"Where's your tiger friend?"

"Answer my question first!" she ordered.

"I just wanted to see you." I said. Marcie was behind me, trying not to be seen. I looked closely at Jessica's face. It was red, and looked like she'd been crying.

"Jessica, are you still there?" I heard from inside the plane. Another girl walked out.

"How many people are here?!" I asked. We all just looked at each other for a second. Maybe it was a smaller jungle than I had thought.

Jessica

"Well, come up if you must, But I don't know how this plane will hold." I said frustrated

"Up there? Couldn't you come down?" Seth said nervously.

"Yes, up here. Unless your afraid of heights?"

"Well, I think Marcie is though." Seth replied rapidly.

"Am Not!" Marcie said strongly, "Your just scared!"

"Fine Seth, I'll come down. You coming Alista?" Jessica said rolling her eyes.

"You bet!" She said staring at Seth. Jessica grabbed a vine, and climbed down. Half way down she looked up, "How you doing?"

"I think I got it."
Jessica's feet hit the ground. Seth smiled, but Jessica turned and looked up at Alista, "Your doing good, just keep doing what you've been doing." Soon Alista reached the bottom, she let out a gasp of happiness, "That was fun! Hi, mine name is Alista, Yours?"

"Jessica, This is Marcie." Seth said, "Jess.." Seth was cut off by the sound of foot steps.

"Thank goodness I found someone!!" A girl said, She had black hair. "My name is Camile."

"My name is Camile." the girl said.

"Hey, join the party!" I said sarcastically. It was good to know that I wasn't alone in this jungle, but I wasn't going to get to talk to Jessica at all!

"Hey Camile." Marcie said. She introduced everyone, even though we all hardly knew each other.

"This sure is a small jungle." Jessica said. I chuckled, then looked over at her friend Alista. She was staring at me, and it was a little awkward.

"By the way, Jess, I am scared of heights. Once, as a little boy, I fell from the top of the monkey bars and broke my arm!" They all laughed when I said that, and I couldn't help but laugh too. It was a painful memory, but fun when I looked back on it.

Jess was the only one that looked a little serious. Something was bugging her, but I wasn't going to be able to find out with all these people around. i had a feeling it was one of those things that no one wants to really talk about.

"Why don't we start a fire. It's getting late." I said. "I guess you guys can go up in the plane, but I'm stayin' down here." Again, we all laughed...except for Jess.

Marcie:

They were going to start a fire. I grinned.
"Here, guys, let me start the fire," I said.
They all looked at me; I hadn't really spoken before that, and I guess it was a strange thing to say.
"I think I've got it," Jess said.
I glared. "Just let me start the dang fire."
Jess sighed, and handed me the matches she had with her. I grinned, and grabbed one, rubbing it between my fingers like it was gold.
I made a circle with rocks, and put some branches inside. Then I lit the match and watch the branches catch fire. I laughed.
Seth looked at me sort of funny.
"I'm not a pyro, I swear. I just, uh, like fire..." I said to him.
"Sure, sure," he grinned.
And for some reason, I found myself smiling back.

Camile

As the fire was started, I sat down. Finally, I had found some people... I wasn't alone anymore. This was pretty comforting. More than comforting, it was great. Actual people to talk to instead of snails and... vines and stuff.

Jessica

"I'll be right back." Jessica said. She picked up a log that was half way burnt. Walking away from the fire, and deeper into the jungle. She had forgotten the bucket of water she had got earlier. She walked on till she reached the the spot where she put the bucket. She picked it up and returned back to the camp.
"Drink up, you each need 11 liters a day. I'll go get more." Jessica picked up another bucket and went back out.

"Drink up, you each need 11 liters a day. I'll go get more." Jessica said. I pushed the water aside and followed after her. The others just watched until I was out of sight.

"Jessica!" I called. "Wait up!"

She stopped, then turned around.

"What's up?" she asked.

"I just wanted to talk to you. Something seemed to be bugging you."

"Well, you're mistaken. I'm perfectly fine." She said that a little harshly, so I knew she was lying.

"Where's your tiger?"

"That's none of your concern!"

I was quiet, and a tear streamed down her face.

"He left." she said. I didn't know what to say. She put her head on my shoulder, and I pat her back, trying to comfort her.

"It's okay." I said.

"He was my only friend."

"You have me now."

Jessica

Jessica sniffled, Her nose was running. Seth Ran his hand up my her spine to the back of her head. Jessica lifted her head and removed his hand for her head. She wiped her face with the back of her hand. "Now,any thing else you want to say?" Jessica asked, still trying to hold back the tears.
"Yes, We need to get these girls out of here, and back to their family. Do you think you can help?" he said a little discouraged.
"I guess I don't have anything better to do." Jessica answered.
"Good!" Seth said joyfully. "Lets go get some water!"

Walking back into the light of the fire. Alista, Camile and Marcie were all huddling together by the fire. "Alright guys, I got some more water, annndd i got some food!"

"Great!" they all said together. "What did you get us?" Camile asked.

"Well, I got us some.." Jessica looked behind her to find that Seth was not following her.

"Seth!?" She yelled.

"I'm coming, I dropped the food." He said rolling his eyes. The girls all look up like starved dogs. Seth took them out of his shirt, and showed them. A frown went on their faces when they saw the food. There was grubs and bugs crawling all over Seth shirt.
"Were supposed to eat that!?" A cry came from Alista.
"Yes, you are supposed to eat them." Jessica answered. "Hold out your hands."
Non of them did. Jessica rolled her eyes. " eat!"

They open their hands ans closed their eyes. Seth put some in each girl's hand.

"Now, see this big fat grub? Eat the whole thing, besides for the head." Jessica said, popping one in her mouth.
"Even the butt!?" Marcie asked. She looked like she was going to through up.
"I thought you guys wouldn't eat any of this." Jessica said. "I'll be right back." She shimmed up the tree, and was back down in a flash. She had in her hand some bananas and oranges. They let out a sigh of relief. She gave them some then sat down.

"Seth, are you going to eat these grubs or just keep them as pets?" Marcie asked.

"Oh, I forgot. Darn, my shirts all dirty!"
Charlie Bucket: You can eat the grass?

I threw some of the bugs into my mouth and chewed. They felt disgustingly crunchy, and I cringed my nose whenever I took a bite, but they tasted okay.

"Surprisingly good once you get passed the part where you're eating a live bug that's crawling in your mouth." I said the last part with emphasis because Marcie had just popped one in her mouth. Her eyes opened when I said that, and she spat it out. I laughed.

"I'm just messin' with ya." I said.

"Ya,ya." Marcie said, wiping her mouth with her arm.

"Okay, hurry up and get some sleep. We leave bright and early." Jessica said.

"Where are we going?" Arista asked.

"We're going to get you guys out of here."

Marcie:

"And how do you plan to do that? 'Cause so far, when we needed food, you gave us some bugs." I sneered.
Jessica sighed, "Bugs are high in protein if you just get past the fact that--"
Seth cut her off. "Past the fact that a bugs crawling in your mouth."
I picked up a stick and threw it at him, and it brushed his shoulder.
"Violent one, are you, Marcie?"
I grinned.
