Cinderstar
"But he can't be deputy! He hasn't had an apprentice yet!" Rainstorm howled. I cringed. What if my plan failed? I recovered myself.
“Rainstorm, I am aware of that fact, but I am also aware that Wolffang has been in this clan for four years. For most of that time he was a warrior. I think he can handle deputy. After the gathering I am giving him an apprentice anyway.” I leaped down from the high rock with a sigh. I couldn’t talk to Wolffang right now.
Sandstorm
I ran just behind Hailfur. The moon shone above this bright and beautiful, but I was depressed. This night was going to be awful. I was going to see my old clan mates again. I cringed. Ashenpaw would be an apprentice now. He hated me.
My thoughts wondered. So much had happened since yesterday. A new deputy!
Mudpaw
I leaped across the rocks leading to the gathering. This was my first one, and I was bursting with excitement. As our clan mixed with the other cats I sat watching Wolffang. He deserved to be deputy. I wished he was my trainer instead of Rainstorm.
Now that Wolffang had become deputy he was even crabbier. My thoughts were interrupted as Stonestar began to speak.
