Ok,
Ill draw a map. ALso Dragonet, Ill make a WebClan cat in a sec. usually only medicine cats, leaders, and cats in prophesies can speak to StarClan. THe Medicine cats meet at a leafless, yet living tree. The CLans meet up at full moon (only post for gatherings on the REAL full moon) at a large clearing almost completely surrounded by a river, stepping stoned lead across it for BushClan, WebClan, and CaveClan, but CherryClan enters through a small path of land. If ANYONE wlse wants to join, hurry, and do play more than one cat if you can, it helps. Thanks!

"Lillykit, come over here!" I call, and my perfect little kit comes running over."see that mouse by the camp entrence, its a BushClan cat, go get it!' Lillykit runs off to 'kill' the mouse. My leader calls me over, and as we enter the den I ask her the question that's been bugging me forever, "so how many lives do you have left?'

(Leaders are given nine lives by StarClan, when they loose their nineth, the deputy becomes leader)

Ashstar-Leader of Cherryclan

"Six, as before. Three moons ago I lost my seventh. So now, I am left with but six. You, of all people, should know that." I respond to her question.

Her kit, Lillykit, comes running in. I adored Lillykit, and hoped someday she might follow her mother and be leader.

"Calm yourself, child." I say, for she is pouncing and jumping around. she stops. I nod my approval.

"She will be great, one day, Mistydawn." I say.

"Of course, six lives, I had all but forgotten..." How can I make her loose six lives but still seem innocent?
"Lillykit, eat the mouse now, to show other clans' warriors are no better than prey."

Cinderstar of Bush Clan
I walked into the medicine cat den. The pine needles were soft on my paws.

“Cloudwhiskers” I whispered. The pine tree always gave me a sense of peace. Cloudwhiskers emerged from the hole he kept his herbs in.

“Yes”

“I was just wondering about Mudkit and Featherkit. They are ready to become Warriors and I have noticed that Featherkit has been very interested in your den. She comes in almost 5 times a day!”

“Yes, I have been thinking about that. But, I don’t need any help right now”

“An apprentice doesn’t mean you need help. It just means you are getting ready to need help. I think that she wants to be a medicine cat. Even if she doesn’t know it, and Birchpelt had a dream. I think she will play an important role when she is grown.” I waited for a reply, but Cloudwhiskers just picked up a bundle and went back into the hole. I sat waiting. Often he needs a little time to think. I think he doesn’t want to go through the process of getting old. After a few minutes Cloudwhiskers came out. He sighed then said.

“I have thought about it some more, and I think Featherkit would make an O.K. apprentice. We will have to see though. Now I have to go collect cob webs.” Cloudwhiskers whisked out of the room with a brush of her tail.

Sandstorm

Sandstorm walked through the forest. She hated the enclosed feeling there always was here. She hated the bugs that always collected. Every night she found plenty of ticks on her. On the moor the ticks were fewer. They didn’t like so much wind. She sighed through the squirrel in her jaws. She would give anything for a rabbit. Not even the food here tastes good she thought.

She stopped and set down her prey. Three pairs of cats were training. It was a perfect spot. The ground was softened by thick grass and it was big enough for 8 cats to train at once. She sat. Her tail brushed one of the birch trees that surrounded the clearing. The apprentices were learning about playing dead. A pang went through her heart. Ashenpaw could be learning about the same thing right now.

WebClan’s training hollow was a in a valley. It was surrounded by 5 big boulders and a small stream ran by it in the spring and fall. She could picture it perfectly. Shaking her head she stood up and bounded off.

Mudkit
Mudkit pounced on a green leaf but, looked up as Cinderstar jumped up on the Highrock.

“Let all those cats old enough to catch their own prey join here beneath the Highrock for a Clan meeting.” She meowed loud and clear.

Mudkit dashed over with Featherkit to sit in the front row. Mudkit’s eyes were bright with excitement. He just knew this was going to be his apprentice ceremony. Featherkit kneed the ground with her paws next to him. She was just as nervous.

Cinderstar was looking at him. Her green eyes showed nothing but warmth.

“Mudkit come forward.” Wait he looked at Featherkit. She seemed as confused as he was, but he had to go. Everyone was watching. Featherkit looked pleadingly at him. He turned away to look at Cinderstar. She nodded encouragement. Finally he stepped forward trying not to think about all the eyes on him.

“This is a proud day for Bush Clan.” She said in her strong voice. “By naming apprentices we show Bush Clan will survive and remain strong. Mudkit, from now on until you receive you warrior name you will be known as Mudpaw.

Rainstorm, you are ready for an apprentice, you will be Mudpaw’s mentor. I know you will pass your wisdom and calmness in battle to Mudpaw, and teach him the skills that will make him a brave warrior of Bush Clan.”

Rainstorm stepped, slightly shaking, and touched noses with Mudpaw. Rainstorm’s nose was dry to Mudpaw and waves of nervousness came off him. For a second Mudpaw felt the same fear again. But, then Featherkit started to chant

“Mudpaw, Mudpaw” At first it was quiet, but then others started to join in. Soon it was uproar.

“Silence” screeched Cinderstar. “There will be another ceremony today. Featherkit come forward.”

Mudkit beamed. Even though there was a twinge of confusion in him. He tried to shake it. Then Cloudwhiskers stepped forward to face the clan.

“Cats of Bush Clan I will not be around forever. Though I may be still alive for many more moons I will need help to do my duties as a Medicine cat. So it is time I took an apprentice. I have chosen a cat. She will never give up and always try her best. Your next medicine cat will be Featherpaw.” Cloudwhiskers voice was quiet and everyone had to strain to listen. When he had finished everyone turned to Cinderstar.

“Featherpaw, do you accept the post of apprentice to Cloudwhisker?” Featherpaw was confident.

“Yes, Cinderstar.” Everyone knew the words that Cloudwhisker would say next.

“Then at the half-moon you must travel to Mothermouth, to be accepted by StarClan before the other medicine cats.”

“The good wishes of all Bush Clan will go with you.”

Cloudwhisker stepped forward to touch noses with Featherpaw.

New apprentices, this us wonderful, I padded away to hunt.

(Mistydawn)
Placing my marketr by the tree, and climbed up the tree. Ashstar padding n, and I immediately let the huge branch fall, crushing my leader. Slipping down the opposite side of the tree, I ran around and raced back into the clearing."Ashstar!" I could tell by his stiff form that he had lost another life."Ashstar, oh, I'll go get help!" I ran off to the camp.

Featherpaw

Featherpaw her new name sounded good. She still loved to whisper it to herself even though she had been training for a quarter moon. She nestled farther into her bedding. Until he was gone Featherpaw never knew how much she would miss him.

Cloudwhiskers was a tough teacher, and sometimes harsh. But he probably was just cranky because he would have to become an elder soon. Today they had been collecting coltsfoot on the edge of the swamp. She had accidently added a dandelion too their pile, and Cloudwhiskers had lost his temper. He yowled that she was only good for collecting mouse bile. Then he had sent her to do just that.

Featherpaw didn’t mind collecting mouse bile though it stank to high heaven. She felt bad she had made a mistake. One that Cloudwhiskers had particularly warned her against. For the rest of the day she had recited his instructions.

“Coltsfoot is a flowering plant that looks kind of like a dandelion. Don’t mix them up. It has yellow or white flowers, and the leaves can be eaten after being chewed into a pulp for shortness of breath. It is gathered from early spring to around June. It usually grows in wet areas.”

Ashenpaw: How long have you been an apprentice? And what's your father's name?

"Well done Ashenpaw!" Leopardbelly said, as Ashenpaw dropped her mouth full of pray to the ground. "Your father will be proud."
"He wont care, he's too busy." Ashenpaw said with sorrow in her eye.
"Well he should care and he shouldn't be too busy. Come on we'll see how the other apprentices are doing."

Rainstorm

Rainstorm had to hold his frustration in. Mudpaw was never going to become a warrior, and then Rainstorm would be the failure.

“Again, and this time be fast enough so I can’t rake your belly!” He said voice flat. They had been training all morning and still Mudpaw had not made progress.

After another scuffle Mudpaw whined.

“Rainstorm, I’m not getting any better, and I hardly ever get to see Featherpaw anymore. Can we go back to camp?”

“No, we will get a drink from the river then hunt. Maybe you will catch something this time.” Why had he gotten Mudpaw as an apprentice? Mudpaw was the slowest learner Rainstorm had ever seen, and he fought him every step of the way.

“Hunt? The pile was full when we left!” Just then Wolffang bounded over. Rainstorm forced the hair on his back to stay flat. He despised the cat, but Mudpaw loved him.
