And by the way, Sock, Adam didn't just set Lorei in the middle of the floor. He set her beside him on the ground because, well, I sure wouldn't want to keep someone I didn't likw on my back!

*Fox- the mages have been captured and tranquilized; anytime you guys want to wake up and break out will be fine! Sock- loved your post! Gosh, I am such a romantic right now haha...*
Jess
My breath seemed to disappear completely as Adam leaned forward and kissed me, silencing whatever I was saying--which, to be honest, I couldn't remember at the time anymore. All I could think about were his soft lips and the warmth of his hand gently stroking my cheek.
All too soon he stopped and sat back, a look in his eyes that made my heart beat until I thought it would burst from my chest. He slowly withdrew his hand from my face.
He inhaled, sounding like he had just come up from underneath water, and said, "I'm sorry if I was too presumptuous. I-I just couldn't help myself. You're so beautiful."
My face was on fire as I replied softly, "It's alright." My mind was still whirling from his kiss; I wanted to run away from him, and yet also wanted him to kiss and hold me again. I was completely confused and my eyes couldn't stay still; they flicked from his perfectly mussed hair that I adored to his small, lithe body, and then to his intense, wonderful gaze.
He was watching me expectantly, and I wondered how I appeared. Probably flustered, excited, nervous...and definitely red. His words from before started coming back to me, and I remember what I had been protesting.
"Adam, I'm not as perfect as you seem to think I am," I started. "I have my flaws--"
He silenced me by gently taking my shoulders and drawing me closer to him, then placing his lips on mine again. All my words melted and floated away as I was raised on a blissful cloud.
Happiness. It had been so long since I had felt this happy; it was a new sensation, one I hadn't experienced for quite some time. It brought back the days when my family was alive, in a slightly different way. The thought of my family made me suddenly cling to Adam. All the doubts disappeared; I suddenly realized that here was someone who understood my situation; understood the need to exterminate those who had caused so much unhappiness; he was someone whom I could depend on and, more importantly, trust.
I stopped kissing him and moved my face to his ear, where I whispered, "You know, you're pretty perfect yourself."

Hermione, shut your ungodly, lopsided mouth and quit interrupting! 20 points from Gryffindor. You know, for the brightest witch of your age you can sure be a dumba** sometimes. *smiles* 10 points to Dumbledore!
[Hahaha I have no idea what is going on. These mages are just freely running around a police station crawling with dozens of people who are committed to keeping them captured xD And where is Jonathon anyway? And shouldn't the girl be detained somewhere where she shouldn't be allowed to use her powers, since the entire law force of Rossain specializes in capturing mages? Nothing is making sense .. Just a thought.]
I'm confused too! What happened??? Sorry I haven't been able to keep up, but school's been really difficult for me right now. Just tell me what happened after Jess showed up, but leave out all the details of course.

Sorry Sock. Jonathan was out on his own and had Millie by herself since she was a illusion mage and he hates those the most.
I thought that Jess and Adam were on their own...
Oh! And that's why I said Millie was powerless. They did have illusion dispersers...but I just deleted the post. (; I'll wait for the other mages to post and then I'll have post for Jonathan and Millie.
Sorry for any confusion. Hope I've fixed everything.

Mmkay so from what I gather: Jess and Adam are on their own in some empty room Jon and Ken are watching Lorei get interrogated The rest of the captured mages are knocked out and unconscious...not sure where they are exactly, but I'm guessing cells?

I shivered from the cold, straining my powers to hear a trace of anyone else's thoughts. There was nothing but a faint buzzing sound.
"They've blocked my powers," I called out, "I can't tell if anyone else is close. How are yours?"
There was a brief pause followed by an irritated sigh. "Blocked, I think. But I don't know how..."
"How long have we been here?" I asked cautiously, already worrying about Lorei's safety. She could have been here for days, beaten and tortured into submission. I tried to get this mental image out of my head, but it was too late, and already the vision of a bloodied Lorei burned my eyes.
Elizabeth: "There will come a moment when you will have a chance to show it. To do the right thing." Jack: "I love those moments. I like to wave at them as they pass by."
"How long have we been here?" Emmett asked. He sounded worried, and I knew he was thinking about Lorei.
I tried by powers again, but nothing happened.
"UGH!" I groaned angrily. "I hate being so restrained! I need to learn to bend metal." I made a mental note to myself to start practicing on that as soon as we got out...if--
I couldn't let myself think about that.
"We can do this, guy. We're going to make it out and save Lorei." My voice was confident, but I was scared.
"Who else is here?" Cutter asked.
"I'm not sure. My cell is pure metal, except for some air holes." I said. "I wonder how they got me in here." I added, thinking out loud. An idea struck me.
"Guys!" I said.
"What?" They asked simultaneously.
"Look around for a door or a window or something. They had to get us in here somehow. It's probably hidden."
I heard some movement, and I knew they were looking.
I scanned the walls of my own cell closely, and finally found a little crack that ran up the entire wall.
"I found it!" I said, smiling. "I don't know if I can open it from the inside though."
For a second it was quiet, and we all just thought of an idea.

My head is throbbing and my body feels like crap, but I know that I need to be alert and ready to move, or, quite literally, we were all going to die. When Catherine discovered the crack in the wall, my heart swells. Leave it to her to find it...But I shake my head. There'll be time enough for thoughts like that once we get out. If we ever get out.
"Are you sure you have no control over your powers?" I call over to her. I grin to myself. The magekillers really were idiots. No guards next to our cells. Ha. Call that security? 'Cause I don't.
"I'm trying..." Catherine says, her voice strained.
I start rambling to myself, "Because if you can start controlling the air right now, then you could force lots of air into the crack, thereby putting more pressure on either side, and expanding it. Or that's the theory, anyway." I never was good with physics.
There's silence for a little while, "You know, that actually might work," says Emmett.
"Really?" I say, mildly surprised.
"I mean, we know that they have illusion dispersers and teleportation blockers, but as far as I've heard, there isn't any technology for blocking Elemental magic."

I wait for them to come and kill me. It was only a matter of time. Then, the door bursts open. It's the Magekiller, Ken. As far as I was concerned, she was the most violent. Lovely.
"Why don't we just cut to the chase?" She says, and puts a gun to my head.
"What do you want?" I ask her. Must stall, keep stalling.
"Well, I want you dead. But the cops want something else. Who else are you associating with?"
"Associating?" I fake stupidity. I see the fury burn in her eyes. She slaps me.
"Stupid girl. Who else was helping you hide the Mages?"
"My dad, but you already killed him." I say bitterly. Ken scowls.
"Good idea, Cutter!" I say enthusiastically. "I don't think they blocked my powers, they just didn't give me any water, earth, or fire to control." I smirked.
"They probably think we're stupid." Emmett said.
"They're the ones that don't have guards!" Cutter adds. I laugh a little.
I tried hard to make a gust of wind, but there wasn't much to work with in a mettle cell. Then, I remembered the air holes, and I smiled.
Every thing was quiet while I tried to open my door. After about 3 minutes, air was spinning around the cell.
"Almost got it!" I say, my voice strained while I try to use the wind to open the door. It was another minute before I finally got it open.
There was a quiet creek as my door opened, and everyone knew I had gotten it.
"I'm out!" I whisper, now knowing if they magekillers could hear me now.
"Yes!" I heard Emmett say.
"Now hurry up and get us out of here so we can get to Lorei." Cutter said.
I didn't say anything. I just went immediately to their cells and opened it.
When all three of us were out, the first thing I did was hug them both.
"I'm so happy to see you guys again." I said with a smile.
