Camp Kenya

Plot
You are going to Kenya with a camp group to help out in a small village called Tachika by doing some charity work. Your main project is building a school.
Part of the camp package is to go scuba diving in the Kenyan ocean as well as to go on Safari.
The camp is going brilliantly and you are having a great time, but when a disease starts to grip the village what will you do to escape becoming ill? Your guides are calling the disease the plague and it is not just affecting humans but it is affecting animals, crops and even fish. As word of the plague gets out the village is put into quarantine and you are not allowed to return home. The village hold ceremonies where they pray to their God, but will you join them or will you go out on your own and try to break out of the guarded quarantine area.
The food is running out,
people around you are dying,
all you can do is fight for survival.

Your role in this is to be either one of the English school children or you to be one of the teachers/camp leaders that are taking the pupils on the trip. You can choose one of them or both it's up to you.

Name: Andromeda (Andie) Hendrix

Gender: Female

Age: 17

Personality: Consistently makes use of dry and sometimes insulting sarcasm, but mostly only when someone says something she finds stupid. She's a tomboy of sorts and loves to wander around looking for ways to turn the mundane into some adventure. She doesn't like to sit in one place for long (antsy.) She has a great reservoir of self confidence and gets agitated if she can't overcome an obstacle.

Background: She's had a pretty normal life. Her parents divorced when she was in middle school, but she's on good terms with both of them and understands why they did it, so it doesn't really bother her. She lives with her father, who first encouraged her to take up things like hiking, rock climbing, and anything to do with being out in nature. She likes to keep on top of issues with the world, so that paired with her love of the outdoors prompted her to take the trip. As for school, she's a decent student who has a small group of friends and doesn't cause much trouble.

Other: As comfortable as she is with nature, things with more than six legs creep her out. And sometimes she'll accidentally pick a fight, which isn't good, as she's not a great fighter.

Name: Paige Marcy

Gender: Female

Age: 17

Personality: While on the outside she appears fun-loving and cheerful, on the inside she is constantly being ripped to shreds. Her past has left her hurt on the inside but due to several years of acting lessons she has, for three years, been able to fake a smile.

Background: Paige started out living the good life. She had great grades, a beautiful singing voice, enough intelligence to make over twenty of her own songs, a smile that could make you jealous, all the money she needed and tons of friends. But that all came crashing down when both her parents died in a car crash. She should have died as well, but she made it out alive.

She has never forgiven herself for that. She went to live with her aunt, who had little money and was just making it by as-is. All of Paige's parents money went to to an uncle of hers, who will not give any to Paige. So, now, Paige had to quit school once she was old enough so she could get a job and bring in money for her aunt. But she never stopped learning, and with a little bit of money she has been saving up over the years, has bought a complete set of textbooks to study from.

The only aspect she kept of her old life was her love for music and her voice, and she still keeps writing songs.

Other: Spends a lot of time writing songs when she can. She also brought a guitar with her on the trip and occasionally will sing for you if you ask her, and if she is in a good mood.

Personality: He is boystourous but his heart is in the right place and the touching stories about Africa nad the problems there encouraged him to come on the Kenya trip. He enjoys doing the physical work because he likes to think of himself as 'muscular.' Overall he is chatty, flirty and sometimes completely crazy.

Background: He has been at the same school all his life, his parents are together and he leads a comfortable life. He is shocked when he sees directly the problems in Afrcia but he wants to help and is glad that he is involved.

Personality: Kind and caring with a touch of trouble. Allison likes to help people but she can be just a touch selfish sometimes. Her temper is not something you want to see loose, though she is pretty level-headed.
Appearance: Blonde hair and blue eyes.

Background: Allison is the daughter of famous Author, Kate Angell, and grew up getting pretty much anything she ever wanted... Until she got into trouble at school. She's only on this trip cause she got in trouble.

Other: People often call her Alice. (Yes, that is a reference to Alice in Wonderland. ) She didn't realise how bad it is in Africa until she saw it with her own eyes.

Personality: She is easy going and helpful, thoughtful and caring. She copes well with problems and is often the favorite of the pupils that attend the camp. She is never spiteful and she doesn't understand why people can be horrible to anyone.
