Abbey~~

"Come on guys come join the Community service club!" I cheered at our cafeteria. The community service club's booth sat close to the middle of the cafeteria and my blissful voice beckoned others to join our cause. It was the first day of course and I had to get on my duties quick, what else made people be good by helping others? A line to sign up was looping already around some of the rounded tables.

"Early start Abbey?" A voice whispered behind me.

"Of course!" I said with a smile meeting some far glances of some Demons far away with a bright smile.

Gabrielle-Angel

It was early in the morning when she woke up and headed to the cafeteria. Going to the cafeteria was now a habit. Everyone went there, but what she hated the most was the hateful glances that the demons threw at her because she was an angel. Gabrielle simply hated it.

But she walked through the cafeteria with her head up high and her blue eyes set up front. Thankfully, she wasn't alone, there was this girl Abbey already doing good things with her cheerful smile. So Gabrielle slowly walked through the crowd and reached for Abbey.

"Early start?" Gabrielle asked her with a shy smile.

"Of course" Abbey answered with her bright smile.

"I'm late then, incredible, I'm two minutes late" Gabrielle said jokingly. It was nice being with other angels.

"You can join us" She said cheerfully.

"Yay, that'll be great!" She exclaimed.

*~Stark~*

I waltzed into the cafe and instantly spotted the Demon's table. It was like they were radiating evil. Abbey and Gab were over cheering by the Community service booth. It took all of my will power not to turn to mist and regenerate next to them as fast as I could. I walked instead.
"Ello loves," I practically yelled, giving each of them a hug.
"Stark, whats up hun," Abbey squealed, wrapping her thin arms around my waist.
Gab kept cheering and so I joined along.
"Join! Come on people! Look deep in your hearts!" Our yelling earned us more than our fair share of cold stares from some humans and Demons. I just smiled and kept cheering. School, good times. Good times.

Melissa - Human

I had no desire of getting up and going to school. Not a single shred of that. No, my real want was to stay home and drown in my bed sheets. But no, as my mom had shouted at me until I was out of the house. To move, not of anything else. I walked pass the gates with style, with a confident walk, even if I wasn't as so. I had dressed with style. So what! I still could dress properly even if I cut myself. Wanted to cut myself! Argh, why couldn't that thought get out of my head? And as soon as the buzz from voices got into my head, I just wanted to run a pick up a blade.

I sat by a lonely table in the cafeteria. I did have friends, and I could have many more if I tried to socialize. But that was just too troublesome. Instead, I liked thinking about how a cold blade would run oh so smoothly over my skin, and how the dripping blood would give ecstasy.

Angels, could they be more annoying? Could they be more...interesting?
He didn't hate them, not care if they were there or not...but they were making such a huge fuss that it was impossible not to notice them. They were nice and hating them was not in his list but they were getting on his nerves and that didn't really work for him.
Race was alone in a table, he knew that most of the demons sat in a table together but sitting with them made him more conspicuous than he really wanted. After all, people must think why all those dudes sit together when they had nearly nothing in common. So he sat alone in a table with a coffee cup and continued to study for English class. He wasn't in the mood for tormenting humans, nor did he want to. He actually wanted to talk, not with an angel of course.
So he spotted a girl, nice looking girl sitting alone in a table. The desire of tormenting her was strong but he fought it back and got up.
"Hey" he said, looking down.

"Hey" She said a bit nervous but with a nice smile on her face.

*sorry, short post. It's laaate, and I gotta go*

Melissa - Human

"Hum... you wanna take a seat?" What was this guy doing, standing around and talking to her all of a sudden?

But he is cute.

Oh, do shut up! I shouted in my head. Ever since I've first thought of cutting myself, this annoying little voice kept on talking to me, pushing me, making me think of things I didn't want to.

It's a shame that now that you're all into self mutilation, NOW is the time that cute boys come and talk to you. I locked my hands together and tried to block it out of my head. "I'm Melissa," I said to him, trying to distract myself by talking to this guy. Maybe I shouldn't. After all, company was never so good. If you had friends, it'd just be a way to hurt yourself, because believe me, they'd always do.

Deus - Angel

Deus strode into the cafeteria and instantly spotted both the demons and the angels. It was like the room had been cut almost in half - light auras and pure feelings on one side and dark auras and tainted emotions on the other. In the middle the people's souls seemed to be a type of gray.

He frowned, the gray looked darker than usual. It seemed as if, even though the majority of the demons were only chatting they had more sway than the angels who were shouting. It shouldn't have been like this. Nothing in the angel-to-earth course had said that the demons were winning.

He swore outloud, was it finally time to use his tactics. Deus nodded to himself, it felt like it was time to let loose what the angels had put him on earth to do. He whispered into one of the gray's ears, "I know your secret. I would very much like it if you would join the Community Service booth."

This was one of Deus's little ploys. He wasn't threatening them, but putting the notion into their head that he was by saying he knew their secret. Of course, he didn't - he hadn't that power.

The person froze and sat up rigid. Deus watched the emotions of the gray's soul flutter around. Shock, a vibrant yellow - very normal and instinctive, nothing to be worried about there. Fear, a mess of reds and blacks - a bit too much black, but nothing beyond the maximum average. Acceptance, a bleak creamy colour - that was very unusual. Deus frowned as he took a step back. The feeling of acceptance had come too quickly. Usually it went - denial, stress, possibly anger and then acceptance.

Someone had already messed with this human's soul and left it easily manipulatable. Deus shook his head in sadness, the human in this state was all but fodder for the demons. He wasn't sure what some of the angels powers were, however, it was possible they might be able to lock the human's soul again. The human in front of him stood up, and walked over to the Community Service booth.

Deus walked behind them and gestured for the others to come closer. When they were close enough he whispered, "This one's soul has been manipulated in obedience. I can't do anything, do you know anything which could lock their soul again?"

Abbey~~

"No, that's impossible souls can't be locked until a human's mind reached full maturity certainly not in highschool," I whispered back at Deus my cheery demeanor fading into slight confusion, "Only if the demons are winning can they-"

The circle went quiet and we all stole a look toward the Demon's table who all beamed with pride.

"They can't be, last semester we saved hundreds of people!" Gab cried, some stole a look at her too.

"This isn't a game anymore people, this is starting to be war. We can't keep depending on clubs that have high standards for people's-" Thats when I broke apart our circle clutching a flyer in my balled hand and strode to the demon's own circle.

"Hi there," I was cheery, "I'd like to personally invite you to the community service interest meeting today because we would love to have you there because we love getting our point across without any form of violence."

Only the Demons recognized it as a threat.

Melissa, so her name was Melissa. He felt she was troubled, extremely troubled and would have been such an easy target to him. But he chose not to, he didn't feel like tormenting someone. She was good looking.

"Umm, I'm Race" He said taking the sit next to her. Was he doing it? Oh no,he was doing it. He was messing with her feelings and her emotions was once again. He had to do something or he might end up making her kill herself.

"So, I haven't seen you around here" He said, taking a bite of his bread and trying hard not to mess with her.

Gabrielle-Angel
Stark was here now, oh how good a friend a she was! After so many years of feeling that she couldn't trust one person, when Stark came along, she immediately knew she could trust her.
But deus came as well, and what he said wasn't something that the angels liked.
"I'll faint" Gabrielle said. How could that be possible? "There must be something we can do" She whispered, maybe Abbey was cheerful, but Gabrielle couldn't hide the concern.

Deus - Angel

Deus watched in slight surprise at what Abbey had done. He had half a mind to applaud her braveness out loud. He grinned as he watched some of the demons souls quiver with red hot anger. That was an announcement of war, as any they were going to ever get.

The battle was on, more than it had ever been before. Deus found himself frowning. Vice had more pleasures than virtue. He only hoped virtue would win through. Closing his eyes briefly, to relieve his sight of the colours of souls, he let out a sigh.

When he opened his eyes Abbey was back with them, a determined smile on her face, "Let's see what they do with that."

*Mayce*

I growled silently under my breath as this Abbey chick strolled up to our table. Her pureness smacked me in the face so hard I actually had to suck in a breath.
"What do you want," I hissed. She was smiling the most annoying smile, which made me want to tear her lips right off her face. The rest of the Demons grunted in agreement at my un-spoken thought. Either that, or they were already thinking something of their own.
"I just wanted to invite you to-"
"Were not interested," I hissed before twisting my face into a rather frightning smile, kinda like the one I gave that group of soon to be Demons," Now, shoo, fly. Don't bother us." My, excuse me, our table burst into laughter.
When the Angel was out of hearing range I leaned in towards the table and whispered three simple words.
"This. Means. War." They nodded in agreement.

Switchkey

He stared at the pair sitting down at the table. Item one: demon, generally one of the ones he was supposed to be openly fighting. Item two: human, girl, troubled, like the girl he'd talked down, first day on suicide watch, generally a mix of emotions.

"Mind if I sit here?" he said, sitting next on the edge, getting the demon in the middle. He smiled the 'I know you're evil, but why don't I pretend you're not, so we don't have to jump dimensions?' sort of thing.

He looked over the demon, now a look of disgust apparent on that face, to the girl. She smiled, probably confused. He wished he had some way of sensing moods better. He could make people happy. That wasn't really the greatest of things when they were already happy, making them practically suicidal, doing all the reckless things.

"Melissa, isn't it? I'm... John, John Hartley. Everyone calls me Switchkey." He flashed another smile. She stared at him. The smile grew strained. He always used John, apart from when he was Fyodor, or Ted, or Silverus, back when he was newly formed. It was too unbelievable, John.

"I play the keyboards," he said, as a kind of explanation. Oh dear, this is going badly. Why wasn't I made... well... cooler?

((Sorry for not posting))
