The YWS Gift system has only been running for 48 hours, and it's already a hit! Since going into effect, a total of 62 members have given out gifts to 108 members for a grand total of 325 gifts in all. Those 325 gifts collectively cost 48,000 points, which means people are spending an average of ~150 points per gift. Note that none of these stats include me since I cheat!

This makes me happy! The gift feature is going to be my new way to thank people (aside from PMs!). :) I gave all of my points to Snoink a few days before, so I quickly ran out, but once I review, a lot more will be going around. ;)

But, thanks, Nate! It definitely made Christmas around here a lot more special. :)

This was the best way to get rid of all of my points within about an hours time. But it was also a lot of fun.

Thanks for making the holidays the bestest, Nate.

That's cool. I didn't think I gave that much.....Oh well it is a really good way to use points though. It's a great idea, Nate :)

Don't aim at success--the more you aim at it and make it a target, the more you are going to miss it. For success, like happiness, cannot be pursued; it must ensue, and it only does so as the unintended side-effect of one's dedication to a cause greater than oneself or as the by-product of one's surrender to a person other than oneself.
— Viktor E. Frankl
