YWS has been fun,
I only Joined on the 8th of november (didnt comfirm my emial for a couple of weeks)
So you know how much fun it's been.

I got to this website one day, I was in ICT and my friend finished the work so he went on this website,
Naturally to annoy him I joined it too!
Then to realise, I like this website.

I can get honest advice from people about my work.

This is such a brill website, Can't wait to see what 2010 has to offer!
If all the world was apple pie and all the sea were ink, If all the trees were bread and cheese what do we have to drink?
Answer: Squished Apples :D

Ohai thar.

There are entirely too many people on this website that would like a mention from me, so I'm taking a page out of Hugh Laurie's book and picking three at random.

Snoinkalicious for being an awesome cheerleader and her incredible patience in listening to me whine for hours on end. And for being the only person to call me at eleven p.m... ever.

Writersdomain FOR COMING BACK. <3

Sachiko for... unmentionable reasons, but mostly House squeeage. ;D

And everyone else who are just as important but for one reason or another didn't come to mind first. Nothing personal!

I LOVE YOU ALL. (well, most of you, anyway.)

(also this may change when I'm feeling less lazy.)

You know, I remember coming and signing the 2007 guestbook, even though I, uh, sort of hated the site at the time. My fourteen year old meanderings weren't considered genius, there wasn't a secret flow of PMs between older members saying "Look at this girl! She's the most gifted person I've ever seen!" It didn't happen. I got critical reviews, and I pretended to be happy and sign the guestbook, but I was planning on leaving.

Only I didn't.

I don't know what kept me, but it did over the past two years. And... thank you. Special mentions:

Blink- my big brother.
Kylan- for your child.
Andy- for saying things like "mean as."
Antigone- for being my mother.
Jon- for being wonderful.
Conrad- also for being wonderful.
AquaMarine-for being one of the funniest people to talk to.
Karsten- for being the Gladiator Queen whom I worship.
Elinor- for starting the Hunger Games group and being so into it.
Teague- for our roommate plan and giving me her soapbox sometimes.
Yoda- for just being generally awesome.
Jabber- for being a girl like me.
Evi- for dreaming of me ;)
Holly- for being my book soulmate.
Bex- for being Bex.
Bondgirl- for sticking around.
Kamas- for echoing.
Prok- for being a single celled organism with opposable thumbs.
Chiko- for being about the loveliest thing on this good earth.
Catarina (*writewatiwant*)- for general awesomeness.
Kat (always)- also for general awesomeness.
Snoink & Griff- for such good radio shows and such nice peopleness.
Mesh- for being a sweetie.
Demmie- for... yeah.

To Nate, for running this show.

And to everyone who's reviewed me and allowed me to read their work. This year has been wonderful for me, in YWS terms as well, and I'd like to thank you all for support you've given and being so friendly and helpful. To everyone that's put up with me. I couldn't be more grateful.

Love always,

-Stella x

Woohoo!

So, erm, where to begin? Well, I'm still here after nearly two years. When I first joined I couldn't tell whether it was just out of curiosity, excitement, a phase or, dare I mention it, boredom. I have now concluded that I still have not the faintest idea, but love the place anyway. My writing's really improved in that time, and if nothing else, what I write has a sense of direction to say the least. Sort of. Almost. Perhaps.

And here's to some more personal mentions (in no particular order):

Demister: For... hello. I'll go and do some bubbling, see if I can find something to say.
Stella: *barbies*
The Beckeh: For making me sing "Get Sexy" to the Pope. Also, Pie.
Nate: I've heard your name somewhere.
Sureal: Broken was the first story I actually got into. So, yeah. You better give me a free copy when you publish it.

And a massive thank you to anyone's who's reviewed any of my work this year. You've been really helpful even if you didn't think so.

If you think I've missed you out unjustly, then, well, sorry. I probably did. Anyway! New year coming up!

:elephant: I first heard about YWS from a friend and it took me a few months to move myself from my bed to the computer and actually have a look. At first I just looked at all the stories and I couldn’t believe how talented everyone was. I mean some of the stories that I read stayed on my mind for weeks after. And then I finally got the courage to join and ever since I feel so happy. Ever since I’ve posted loads of stories and made a lot of friends. I mean I liked writing before I joined YWS but when I joined I just can’t wait every Saturday morning to wake up and write. I’ve become so much better in my writing and also I haven’t forgotten English which may not seem like a big thing but when all my relatives called they would say “have you forgotten your English yet” because I've temporarily moved to Egypt and I’m sitting there laughing   because ever since I started I think my English has actually improved. So with all my heart I can’t thank YWS more for all the great things that I’ve been blessed with ever since I joined this site.

Here are my shout outs

Thank you to everybody that read and reviewed my work without your positive comments I wouldn’t be writing now. :P

Thank you YWS for practically being my online library while I’m stranded over here in Egypt. :D

Thank you Nate for all the great work you do. :)

Thank you Stella Thomas for being my first critic and friend.

Thank you Meep and Night Mistress your tips helped me a lot and I’m actually writing a long chapter storys now. 8)

And thank you Heffa89 and Sela locke for giving me absolutely fantastic chapter stories to follow. :smt004

And that’s about it.

I've been inactive all summer this year and feel terribly guilty about it. I missed out on the website makeover and I've missed all the people I met previous to taking a break. Not including all the pieces of literature I've missed!

Before I joined YWS, I rarely let people read my stories. Too nervous I suppose. But now, I'm not afraid to let people to see my writing. I'm constanly pestering my family to read the stories. Turns out, they really enjoyed The Scarecrow Minstrel. My writing has no doubt improved since I've been on here. I now know what to look for when editing my stories and how to improve them so one day others can possibly read them.

And since I've been on here non-stop the past month or so, I've met many more people than I could ever imagine and have held some rather amusing and random conversations :D I've even crawled out of my shell and managed to act more like myself.

I can't even put it all into words and I shall leave it like this for now.

I was just a lonesome writer before I found out about YWS and I absolutely love it now. I only found out about it in June. It's probably in my top 5 of favorite websites. I love it because there are so many people here that are just like you who help you become a better writer. I just felt welcomed and I enjoyed reading the reviews I got for my stories because they were all just constructive, trying to help me up, not put me down, and I like that. :smt005 :elephant:  :smt003 :smt002 :smt001 :D
Thanks to Evi, for being another Sailor Moon fan that I could talk to on YWS.
Thanks to Linx, Star615, and Roo2, for being my teammates on the Instructor-Reality Show. It was awesome being able to just talk to you guys for a while and I enjoyed your reviews.
Thanks to angels-symphony for introducing me to Linx. This is just awesome and I'm glad I joined.
Lastly, I just want to shout out to MissMiaFacinalli for her awesome Twilight Fanfiction. It is probably the best fanfic that I have ever read.

I recently joined here a few months ago, and it's really wonderful. I love how everyone on here isn't mean, but still gives good criticism. My writing has improved, doing reviews is easier for me now, and I like to just share my stories and read other writing here.

I found the website because of my parents last year, and I don't know how they found it. I was a bit shy and didn't like to share stories, but now I'm OK with it. This site is very fun, and a bit addicting. I hope it comes in use when I'm older, so that way I can be successful in writing.

Thank you YWS!

I have only just joined about a month or two ago...I think? Or maybe it was two. I'm not really sure. I have, however, enjoyed posting my work on here, seeing as how it allows to me to read reviews and decide whether or not I should use them in my piece. This site, YWS, has helped me see what I do wrong while writing, and gives me the chance to try and perfect my writing style, while, of course, still keeping the main points and emotions originally written in it.

Thank you YWS! I look forward to making many more friends and continuing to perfect my writing.

By the way, I have also made a few friends in the short time I have already been here. :D

Happy New Year and a Merry Christmas! :)

I just hope we don't forget to do this every year ;) It's been an awesome time guys, I only just joined but I've got some great support off you people and I appreciate it :D

2007 and 2009.. 2010 here we come :D
I believe everything happens for a reason. People change so you learn to let go, things go wrong so you can appreciate when they're right, you believe less and less until you eventually learn to trust no-one but yourself and sometimes good things fall apart, so better things can fall together.

*Hello! This yearbook thing is so cool! I'm new so let me think about this a short while...three seconds later and: *

Oh my gosh, this place is amazing! Except for the fact that we HAVE to reply to someone, which is...okay, but still I'd read and post freely if we didn't have that rule, other than that this place is still amazing! I'll always be addicted and happy to have joined the YWS family

I've made so many friends on chat and enjoy talking to them all the way from here to all the way over in Europe, etc. I've met so many friends there that they are just friends in my mind and not to much on the list where they're supposed to be. I'll have to start placing a note pad in front of my PC so I can actually put them on the list, to make it official ;)

I love you all, whether I know you not at all or just a little.
You all keep chillin' like you do
Peace. Love. and. Coolness.

* :elephant: <--- Awesome little thing. *
Write on.
