Sam - Shifter

Sam felt himself go slightly red at Veriane's words and sighed inwardly.Jeesh, Sam berated himself, Get a grip. Yes you like her, but you don't need to go tomato red every time that she speaks. But the majority of his mind was doing cartwheels in his head singing a song that went something like, "She cares about me! She was worried! She cares about me! She was worried!"
"Yeah," He replied as normally as he could, trying to ignore the troupe of dancers in his head, "Well I was, erm, pretty afraid for you too. I mean, the cuts looked deep. Um, yeah."
He trailed off into an embarrased silence, then decided that he wouldn't let a simple thing like a crush stop him from talking.
"Come on," He said, grabbing her hand and pulling her down the corridor as fast as his leg would go. "Let's go see if we can help or something."
His cheeks flamed a bright red when he realised that he was holding her hand, and he dropped it like it was a hot stone.
"Erm, yeah. Let's ... go. Go, um, see what we can do..." Sam mumbled, before ducking his head and walking in the direction of the east wing.

((Sorry, I know my writing's bad there. I'm bleugh.))
"It is curious how often you humans manage to obtain that which you do not want."

Storm, wolf

Storm hardly felt the antidote needle pricking her skin, but almost instantly her vision cleared and her breathing came slightly easier. But only slightly. She looked to Elliot whose face was concered, and squeezed his hand. "Thank you," she said partly to the nurse and partly to Elliot. She smiled at him, and saw tears rise in his eyes.

"I didn't really do anything though," Elliot said quietly, "I let you get hurt." Storm shook her head.

"But, you stayed with me once I was," she said, "and gave me a reason to fight it."

Garred, Ghost

Garred appeared in Drako's room silently, so that when he spoke everyone accept for Hayley, who sensed him, jumped.

"Whats going on?" He asked urgently.

Veriane - Shifter

I was slightly startled by Sam's sudden change in attitude. I followed him, but then stopped. "Sam, can I talk to you?"

Sam froze and turned reluctantly. His face was bright red. "Yeah?"

"You're acting kinda... well, kinda odd all of a sudden. Is something wrong?"
Just another quack spouting psychobabble.

Sam - Shifter

"It must be the loss of blood," Sam replied jokingly, but Veriane had a more serious look on her face.

"Come on, Sam. Seriously?"

He coughed slightly and looked down at his hands. Sam hadn't planned on telling her, but obviously she wasn't going to let him get away with it that easily.

"Well," he began uneasily, "It's just that ..."

"That what?" Veriane asked, frowning slightly.

Man up, Sam. A voice in his head whispered. Jeesh, just tell her. Sam bit his lip and carried on with his convoluted explanation.

"Well, I mean, come on. It's you." Sam continued, "You're smart, kind, funny and beautiful. What else can I say? I like you, Veriane. I like you a lot."
"It is curious how often you humans manage to obtain that which you do not want."

Veriane - Shifter

Blood rushed to my cheeks. "Oh... I..." my mouth dried out, and didn't seem to want to work. "I... um..."

Oh come on, you're never like this in front of the teachers and things! What's wrong with you?

I swallowed and continued. My next words were quiet. "I... I like you too you know. A lot."
Just another quack spouting psychobabble.

***Geez, this is cool, we're posting so much!***
***YOur post was so cool Aqua :D ***

Ariel

She might have been a little rud since Drako just stared at her and narrowed his eyes, as others in the room also did. Whether he wanted it or not, she was going to help him.
Before she could speak though, a voice from behind her made her halt.
"What's going on" the voice asked. She turned around and found Garred, gasping, clearly tired.
"They took the dragon" Hayley said to him, being the only one who was not surprised by his presence."
"It was all a set up" Ariel said quietly.
"There must be a reason why they took the headmaster though" Vecian said. For some reason she doubted Desi knew her father was taken.

Elliot
Now that was unexpected to him. He expected a thank you, maybe ahug but definitely not that. And the worst part of it was that it made him blush and stutter.
"Yeah, it was the least I could do" for someone I love so much
he finished the sentence in his mind. he wasn't prepared to tell her tha it wasn't even the right moment, so he just let it died.
"So, are we ready" he asked her, stuttering a bit.
"Yeah, let's go" she said supporting herself on his arm.

((I know! I love it when everyone posts. And thanks <3 ))

Sam - Shifter

"I... I like you too you know. A lot."

Sam felt his mouth break into a wide smile. He felt a little lightheaded, and for a moment he could only smile at Veriane. She smiled back, shy for once, and this only made his heart beat faster.

Very gently, hardly believing what he was doing, Sam brushed a little bit of Veriane's hair away from her face. Tingles erupted up his hand and his heart speeded up again, missing beats and jumping around erratically.

He smiled more broadly when Veriane's eyes widened and then leant down slowly. Her eyes met his, brown against brown, and his head began to spin. Slowly, he pressed his lips against hers and closed his eyes, hoping that this was ok. Before Veriane had a chance to respond, Elliot's voice wafted up the corridor behind them. Sam jumped and turned round, unable to keep a huge grin off his face.

"Uh, hi guys." He said to a bemused Elliot and Storm.
"It is curious how often you humans manage to obtain that which you do not want."

Elliot
It was difficult but he had to do it, hold the laughter in was too difficult so all he could do was cough.
"Ummm, hi!" he said turning to Storm who was fighting a smile as had as he was. "So, having a nice time, huh" he asked mockingly.

"Yeah" he said, trhough gritted teeth and with cheeks burning tomato red.
Elliot pursed his lips and tried to cough too much since the excess of laughter was choking him.
"really funny Elliot" he muttered to Elliot"

"Ok, so I think we all beter head to the gym" Elliot sid with a huge grin on his face hat looked more like a mocking smile.
So he took the lead, but grabbed Storm's hand before starting to walk. For some reason he really wanted to hold her close.

Vecian,

"There must be a reason why they took the headmaster," I say, my mind working furiously.

"My Papa got on the wrong side of them, a long time ago," Desi speaks so quietly, I can barely hear her.

"So this is just revenge? I just don't think that's all. I mean, how did they know about Drako's sister? It seems like you kept her pretty safe and away from prying eyes, right, Drako?" He nods, still stony faced. I continue, "There must be something else, something that the vampires hope to achieve with your father and Alianna."

Ariel nods, and butterflies start invading my stomach. I inwardly smack my forehead. Why were these feeling randomly appearing? It had never happened before. Hayley pipes up.

"Well, there's only one way to find out what the vamps are up to, and I think we all know what that is," she says, solemnly.

** I am loving this SB so much! Esp the couples posts! :D **

Storm, Wolf

Storm leaned on Elliot as he helped her to the gym, she sent a thought out to Garred for everyone to meet in the gym. Hopefully he would broadcast it.

She glanced behind her and Elliot to Sam and Verianne. "They really seemed to be in "moment" when we got there huh?"

Elliot nodded and Storm sighed, she wanted to hold his hand again, feel his warm hand against her cold hand but she needed her arm around his shoulder. Her leg felt slightly better but not all the way, and her arm was in its cast ready to heal. Oh Hell with it she thought.

"Elliot," she said, "I wanna try walking on my own." Before he could protest she unhooked her arm and quickly used her good hand to grab his.

She leaned toward him. "I need this type of support more than the other right now." She muttered, emerald eyes filled with worry.

Garred, Ghost

Garred paced back and forth in the room, trying to figure it all out when Storm's thought came to him. Garred, tell everyone to meet in the gym! Elliot, Sam, Verianne and I are on our way there now!

Garred looked up at everyone. "Guys, we have to meet in the gym. Storm just thought to me that they're on their way there now, we should get going. All together I'm sure we can figure this out!"

Chimera(Drako)- Dragon shifter

Drako's mind raced as he followed the others to the gym. He flashed back to when Ariel snapped at him and his lips twitched. Was this what it was like to have friends, Drako couldn't help thinking.

As they neared the building, Desi dropped back to walk beside him. She smiled at him, about to speak, when her hand brushed the sword at his waist. Her eyes widened in wonder, as the gemsong resonated through her. The music wasn't just sound, but emotion, thought, the essensce of life. Protected by a shining crystal shield.

Astonished Drako stared at her, he spoke low. "You can hear the gemsong?" Only dragons should be able to hear gemsong. Witness the stark beauty of memories trapped in time. There was one exception but it was a myth, a fable of dragon lore. The soul-melding, if a dragon met his true mate, she would hear the gemsong too.

Veriane - Shifter

We walked down the hall. My head was spinning, and my heart was doing weird things. My face was red, but that didn't matter. I could hear the blood roaring in my ears. I had a foolish smile plastered onto my face that I couldn't wipe away.

Sam put an arm around my shoulders, and my heart must have skipped at least two beats. I looked up at him and smiled shyly. What a time for Elliot to walk in, I thought. That was only one thought out of the several others that were whizzing through my head.

I wasn't sure how I felt, but I liked it.

**Yeah, it's kinda bad, but... *shrug* **

Elliot
She was holding his hand tight and what she said made him blush even more. Ugh, stop it, he demanded himself when she noticed she was staring. But he liked it, it contrasted his annoying warmth.
They were walking slowlier since Storm was walking on her own.
"Are you tired?" He asked, arranging the locks of hair she had on her face and placing them behind her ear.
She smiled at him and he loved it. It was such a warm smile that all he wanted to do in that moment was hug her nad kiss her. Too rushed, he thought.
"I'm ok" She answered. "You worry too much" she added.
He wanted to spit it out and tell her, just get this over with. Because I love you, he thought about saying it, but deep inside he was afraid she wouldn't like him.
"Yeah" he said. "I care for you, that's what people do" He shrugged but gave her a huge smile.

Ariel
Her mind kept recalling the moment in which she told those things to Drako. It was harsh, maybe, but it was what she felt. BUt still she didn't want him to think that she hated him, so she decided that she was going to apologize...
at the right time.
"You ok?" Vecian asked
She nodded, afterall, it was all she could do at the moment.
"I'm tired" she suddenly blurted out. Yes, she felt way too tired, almost to weak to even walk.

Garred, Ghost

Garred turned and headed toward Ariel, sensing her distress about having snapped at Drako. He grinned. "Don't worry, Drako doesn't really care. Hes just upset about his sister's all. You were right to tell him off." Ariel nodded. "Thanks," she said.

He looked at her, like he was diciding something. "And don't worry, if your too tired to walk, we're almost to the gym!" And with that, he smiled and walked away, heading around a corner.

Storm, Wolf

Storm blushed profusely at Elliot. He's too good to be true! She thought smiling. Sighing, she squeezed his hand and tried to go faster, knowing Garred was probably already there. Her leg was on fire by now but she wasn't going to stop.

"Storm, slow down!" Elliot said gripping her hand and stopping so she had to as well. Storm stopped and frowned back at him. "I'm fine, I just want to get to the gym and figure out whats going on. I don't like not knowing what they're doing! Who knows who they could take next Elliot! What if they took Garred!? Or... what if they took y-you? Then where would I be?" Tears sprung in Storm's eyes as she tried to get Elliot to move once more, but he wouldn't budge.

Sam - Shifter

Sam and Veriane walked in silence for a few seconds. Sam just wrapped his arm round her shoulders and and attempted to keep the smile off his face. But it was impoHe was impossible. He had finally take control of something, and he had Veriane.

He pressed his head against her hair and kissed the top of her head lightly, chuckling softly when his heart skipped a few beats and his pulse quickened.

"Good time for Elliot to walk in, huh." He murmured softly, raising his head again and stealing a glance down at Veriane's face. Her features portrayed his feelings perfectly. She had this goofy, happy, beautiful smile on her face that made him weak at the knees.

"Come on," he said, suddenly feeling an urge to run, "Let's go see what's happening in the gym!"
He grabbed her hand and began to pull Veriane down the corridor, whooping with laughter as he ran.
