Ali

"Well I overheard you with Timmy. So, I assumed you were Kitty and he was Timmy." I laughed at Kitty's hurt expression."And those 'files' are all the information about you, as well as your current age, so that should answer all of your questions."

I lay back in my seat, glancing over to Robert. I stopped the thin white marks along his torso and arms. They looked like needle marks. I frowned and wondered, Why would Robert have needle marks?

I heard one if the children's voices interrupt my train of thought with another question.

Lyanna - Telekineses

Something had been nagging at the back of my mind for a while now. And Ali seemed to be answering questions now, so now was the time to ask.

"Ali, why did you help us in the first place?" I asked hesitantly. My voice was quiet.

Robert, scientist

He noticed Ali's gaze and immediately hunched over, trying to hide the inside of his bound arms and his front. "Do you mind?" Robert said with a scowl.

Ali shrugged but didn't say anything. What was she looking at him like that for? She'd probably ask him later about the marks; he could tell she'd seen them.

But then another of the children distracted her with a question. He didn't know the girl's name.

Robert was starting to get a bit self-conscious, sitting in the midst of all these people who had every reason to hate him not only bound but in his underwear. After they were done talking he'd ask Ali about letting him go get dressed.

Christina

Robert moving on the couch distracted Christina. He didn't look very comfortable. She felt bad for him, even though he had been one to hurt them before.

"Robert," she said, moving closer to him on the couch. "Do you want me to get you some clothes?"

He eyed her suspiciously for a minute, but then seemed to decide he'd really like to have something to wear. "Yes," he said.

Christina got up from the couch and went up the stairs to the room she had seen Seth and Ali put Robert into the night before. She rummaged through his room until she found some clean looking clothing that Ali had probably bought for him.

She returned to where everyone was with a white shirt and black pants. "Here you are," she said, handing him the clothes with a smile.

Ali

I looked at Lyanna in surprise.

"Well, were you happy in those cells?" I asked her, my eyes flashing.

She shrunk into her seat, and remained silent.

"I've told another this before. You can leave and go back to the lab. I was thinking that you would all be happier here were you can live a little, not be turned into weapons." I said.

They all looked at me, wide-eyed.

"Ya, they were mutating you so you would grow to be weapons. If you really wish for that, being tossed aside, probably killed when they create a better version of the mutation. But really who am I to judge what you want." I breathed, my temper snapping.

I took a deep breath and lay back into my seat, glancing around at the reactions.

Timothy- Strength, speed, flexibility

Timothy sat with Kitty snuggled up beside him. Ali's outburst had surprised them all, but Timothy wasn't about to let her think he was ungrateful for all she'd done for them.

"Well, I'm glad for all your help, Ali. We would have all been stuck in those cells forever if you hadn't rescued us."

Ali smiled at him, and he blushed. Some of the others muttered agreement, which only made his embarrassment worse. He wasn't used to putting himself out there, and everyone was watching him. Taunting Java was one thing, but this made him feel so... exposed.

"So," Timothy said, changing the topic. "What are we gonna learn today?"

Robert, scientist

"Robert, do you want me to get you some clothes?"

The scientist looked up, blinking. Why on earth would you offer to do that? After a minute of thinking and being unable to think of any way she might be trying to get back at him with this, he nodded. "Yes."

She scurried away. When she returned, she was carrying a white t-shirt and some black pants. Ali had undoubtedly bought them along with the clothes for the kids. "Here you are," the girl chirped as she laid the clothes in his lap.

"Thanks." He looked down at the outfit with a frown. Ali had gone through the trouble of buying him clothes? How long did they plan to keep him here anyways?

Ali suddenly went off on a bit of a rant. Robert flinched when she mentioned that he and the others had been planning on mutating the kids to make them weapons. He refused to meet anyone's eyes.

One of the boys spoke up. "Well, I'm glad for all your help, Ali. We would have all been stuck in those cells forever if you hadn't rescued us."

There was a pause. "So, what are we gonna learn today?"

"Ali, could I get dressed before we plunge into lesson-plans?" Robert asked.

Ever

She wasn't sure how everyone ended up around the couch, but she suddenly found that she was in the middle of a very deep conversation. Weapons? Really? She shuddered at the thought. She like to prank people and mess with their heads, but she didn't want to kill just for the sake of killing. She hated unneeded violence.

"So what are we going to learn today?" Timothy asked.

Then Ever heard Robert speak up, " Ali, could I get dressed before we plunge into lesson-plans?"

She saw Ali nod her head and lead Robert to his room to change. Ali guarded the door to make sure he didn't try anything.

Ever sighed, "Does anyone else remember a time before you were in the cells?"

Everyone turned and looked at her. She did't like the attention as much, she tried to make herself as small as she could.

Seth

Ever asked if anyone else remembered a time before they were in cells. Seth immedeatly felt the old feeling of anger and helplessness creep back in his head. He had never been able to remember, not even once, what his life had been like before being in a cell.

"I'll go help Ali," he mumbled to Christina. He walked up the stairs to Roberts door where Ali was leaning against the wall with her eyes closed.

"Hey," he said. She looked up at him and smiled. Seth wondered what had possessed him to come up here in the first place. He looked at his feet and shifted his weight awkwardly.

"Hi, Seth," Ali said.

"Uhm.." Seth said. "So...nice...door." He regretted the words as they came out of his mouth. Nice door? What the heck was he even talking about? Robert's door wasn't anything out of the ordinary, just an average door. Yet he found it a reasonable conversation peice at the time.

He felt his face go red and wished Ali wasn't standing there staring at him. He wished he hadn't come up in the first place. But he didn't know what he would do that wouldn't make a bigger fool out of him now.

Robert, scientist

It wasn't long before Robert knocked on the door. "Okay, I'm dressed. You can let me out now."

The door creaked open. One of the first things he noticed was that Seth was there, and he looked embarrassed. "Am I interrupting something?"

"Shut up," growled Seth. Ali looked a little startled, but she regained her composure quickly. "Hold your wrists out," she said, pulling the rope out again.

"Is that really necessary?" Robert grumbled, but he did as she said.

"It makes me feel better," Ali said shortly as she bound them again. "Come on Seth, we should go back downstairs."

Java

"I - I remember flying," Java said slowly, staring into the distance and trying to pull at the memory that was nagging at the back of his mind. It was half-formed, not really there, but existed enough so that he could recall the feeling of flying, of soaring up into the sky. But then again, he knew that was impossible. He had been at the laboratory since he was young, so surely he wouldn't have been able to fly so high?

But it was there, the memory. And every time that he tried to bring it back it escaped again, and he found himself floundering in the conundum of his mind.

There were ... trees. And voices. Screams, even. A woman shouting. And then blackness, blackness and pain.

Java opened his eyes to see them staring at him, and realised that his mouth had been open in an aproximation of horror. He smiled, sheepishly, and inwardly marveled at what had just happened.
"It is curious how often you humans manage to obtain that which you do not want."

Ever

She couldn't believe it, someone had a glimpse of their past! Maybe she could do the same thing. She closed her eyes and concentrated hard. When she got a picture of a dark room, she was cowering in a corner of the room crying. Yes, I did it! I can remember!

She then heard footsteps coming near and a door opening, a dark shape stood in the door way. The figure came towards her and reached for her. She screamed.

Ever felt herself being shaken, she opened her eyes to see Timothy looking at her with worry on his face. "Are you okay?"

"Wha-what just happened?" Ever looked around the room, Ali hadn't come back with Seth and Robert yet, but everyone else had worried looks on their faces.

"Ever you just started to scream for some reason and wouldn't stop," Lyanna said. "What were you doing?"

"I was trying to remember my past, and I did somewhat," Ever started to shiver. Kitty passed her a blanket and wrapped it around her shoulders.

"What was happening?" She asked.

"I-I don't know," Ever started to cry. Why was this happening to her?

*sorry that this is such a short post, you guys. I'm just trying to keep it alive until we can get moving. I know Kamas said feel free to take over Ali while she can't, but I for one think she's better off in someone else's hands. Any takers? *

Timothy

Timothy's heart was still pounding, even after Ever stopped screaming. If that was the kind of reaction that she got from a bunch of memories, then he didn't think he wanted to try and dig up some of his own. They could stay where they were. Buried.

*Agh!*

*Uh. Thanks Knightley, I saw this when I had a slight bit of time. Once again, really feel free to write for Ali if I stall and if anyone feels they want to take Ali over full time okay, PM me. I'll try to get some time to do this storybook if no one wants too, which is fine, things are calming down and it's almost winter break.*

Ali

I ran down the stairs when I heard a long, piercing scream. Practically dragging Robert behind me, I stomped down to the landing to find everyone gathered around Ever.

"What's going on?" I said, looking around worried.

"Ever tried to remember something, and she started screaming." said Kitty her eyes wide.

I relaxed a little, relieved I wouldn't be finding disaster in my home.

"Now, now. Let's forget the past for now and talk about what's going on in the present." I breathed, gently pushing Robert in a chair. They all nodded and sat back down, Ever looking shaken. I smiled and sat back down in my chair.

"Let us talk about... hm. Any ideas or questions you guys may have?"
