"You guys are all right then? Where are you? When are you coming back?" I asked anxiously before Fee shushed me.

"You're using... machine guns?" he asked disbelievingly.

"Yeah," Fee shuddered a bit. "And knives."

"Are you sure you want to kill them Fee?"

"Well, not really, but I think it may be necessary," Fee explained.

I could hear Nick's sigh. "are you sure you're gonna do this?"

Fee gulped but answered, "Yes."

I was stealing a third gun (all that I need) when Alura caught me.

"My guns machine guns!" she cried out in a surprising fury that seemed uncontrolled. "Oh no you don't, Zack!"

I (in the gun) swung around and aimed myself to fire. But Alura just kept coming. I mentally pulled the trigger on the gun. No ammo.

The machine gun suddenly dropped to the ground. I had left it. Almost simultaneously, a knife arose.

"So, you challenge me? So be it. After all, its your choice if you want to die."

Nick,

I talk to Fee quickly, knowing that they probably don't have much time.

"Fee, listen to me very closely. Kili is using that other guy, whatever is name is, Seth, the guy with the force fields. He can block our powers. If he puts one over you, you can't fight with powers. Be ready with the weapons. Try and get rid of Seth first. If he's injured, he probably won't be able to do anything. Got it?"

Fee says yes, but before I can say anything else, I hear Lurie scream something incomprehensible. Fee shouts. I stare at the walkie-talkie. My friends, my family, the only happiness I've ever known. Under attack. Before I know what I'm doing, Des and I are back at camp watching Alura stare at a floating knife.

Alura screamed as the knife floated towards her.

"Everybody calm down!" Fee shouts before setting down the walkie-talkie. She pulled Alura down as the knife whizzed by.

Alura and Fee stand while the knife turns back around. Out of the corner of my eye, I see Des and Nick transport just a few yards from me, but I'm too afraid to move.

"Kat, what going on?" Nick asks.

I point at the knife, which is hovering by Fee and Alura, waiting to attack.

"Zack's in there," I murmured.

I saw the knife turn to me and my eyes widened, but I felt like my feet were glued to the ground.

As I watched the knife fly towards me, I screwed my eyes shut, waiting for it to go through my forehead.

((Eh, I'll just assume you guys did. No matter, I'll force Viper back into the story one way or another.))

Viper

I didn't have time to think about what was going on. All I saw was that the knife was coming at one of my friends' heads.

I dropped my blanket and shoved her out of the way. A sharp pain went through my right shoulder. I stumbled aside with a hiss and squinted at my shoulder.

The knife was sticking out of it, almost buried up to the hilt. Realizing what was going on, I grabbed the hilt in an attempt to keep Zack from digging it further into my flesh.

Nick,

I stare in horror as the knife flies toward Kat, and then embeds itself into Viper's shoulder. I am immediately at his side, teleporting the knife, and Zack to somewhere that is not here. Viper groans. I start the trying the process that I healed my foot with, but I feel immediately that it's going to be harder than before. Eventually, I stop trying. It won't work. Through the buzzing that are my thoughts, I see Mikael pick Viper up, hear someone going for the medical supplies. It doesn't matter. More people will get hurt, but what for? I hate it. I try to teleport us all away, far away, where Kili will never find us. Nothing happens. I look up, and I see the tell-tale crackling energy of the force field. I look around, but neither Kili or Seth are anywhere to be seen. And then I hear gun fire coming from the trees. The attack has begun.

**FEE**

I hustle Viper away, into a tent, and pick up a gun. I hear a soft crackling and look over at Nick uncertainty. He is staring at the sky, his hands in tight fists. I am stopped from asking him what is happening when a gun fires on the edge of the woods. I look around, see people standing there silently. "Come on, people!" I yell, trying my best to sound confident. "Grab a weapon and get ready! This is about to get nasty!" I see Alura's face harden, picking up a mini machine gun and a black dagger. Deamyn grabs the biggest knife he has, which is actually a long, slightly curved sword. I winced at the image being played in my mind. It was Kili getting cut in two by that blade. I shook off my uneasiness, and braced myself.

This was going to be tough.

Luckily, Nick had only teleported me to Kili- he must have heard gunfire and thought of her.

I floated with the small band back toward the camp. Kili got hit in the left shoulder, but pressed on. I caught sight of Alura. It was time to finish this off.

Nick,

I take the machine gun I have from around my shoulders. I still can't see any noticeable people, until I spot a floating knife heading straight for Alura's back. I quickly aim the gun, and then out a volley of bullets. The knife dodges all of them, and then turns towards me. I sling the gun back around my shoulders and then I lunge for my sword, which Daemyn must have gotten for demonstrations.

"Bring it on, Zack," I say, as the two blades clash.

No sound is uttered from either of us as Nick and I clash.

First I gain on him, then he gains on me. His blade is longer, but the fight is even. I found we eventually reached the truck. [or is it van?] I made a stab, but Nick dodged and I burrowed into the gas tank. the gas began leaking, but neither of us had time to care.

Then some idiot fired a bazooka.

Fire rained everywhere. If anything, the battle became more intense. But I failed to notice the stray sparks falling toward the empty and spilling gas tank...

There were a few people fussing over me as everyone engaged into the fight. "I'm f-fine," I said, and then Fee was running out the tent flap. I sighed and laid back down. Hopefully the others wouldn't need my help.

Someone's shirt was lying nearby. I used it to apply pressure to my shoulder, waiting for the fight to be over.

"I'm so sorry Viper!" I apologized again, putting a cold cloth over the wound.

"I'm f-fine. Just g-g-go fight."

I looked at Fee who motioned for me to join as well. I sighed, apologized again and ran out. I grimaced as I grabbed a small michine gun and a knife.

As soon as I stepped onto the bbattlefield, I saw Carmel charge me, raising her gum to shoot. I ducked and shot back, hitting her hand, but it just glanced off.

Carmel screamed furiously. "I'm wounded! Somebody hurry up and get Kat for me!" Everybody else was engaged in battle. "Fine, I'll have to do it myself, then!" The gun was raised.

I aimed at her, screwed my eyes shut, and shot. I didn't want to see how bad it was, so I didn't look back, but I could hear her screaming and cursing at me. A tear ran down my cheek to hear her in pain because of me, but I turned back to the battlefield.

Mikael

The first volley of gunfire took me high in the chest, shredding what little was left of my shirt. So this was it, the battle for the ultimate salvation or demise of the circus had begun. To think all of this was caused by a silly fall out over rules.
I watched as the others dived for weapons, determined to save the circus. I grabbed one of the pistols off the table and shot back at the muzzle flash coming from the trees. When the shooting stopped i ran and grabbed Fee.
"Stay behind me!"
"Mikael, i can fight for myself." She sounded offended.
"I know but your not bulletproof!" With that said there was a whoosh of bazooka fire and a frightful explosion. If thats my bike, i thought, i will kill Kili myself.
I have looked into the eye of the storm and stared it down. I am an adrenaline junky and i know no fear.

For a short space of time I remained at the window watching the pallid lightnings that played above Mont Blanc and listening to the rushing of the Arve, which pursued its noise way beneath. The same lulling sounds acted as a lullaby to my too keen sensations; when I placed my head upon my pillow, sleep crept over me; I felt it as it came and blessed the giver of oblivion.
