I screamed as I watched them transport. I stood there in the silence, a single tear falling down my cheek.

"Oh my God," I whispered to them. "We just lost Nick and Des."

Fee nodded, stunned.

"This has been going on for too long," Mikael growled. "We need to do it, Fey. We need to kill Kili."

Fee opened her mouth, about to speak, then closed it. She looked at all of us.

"H-h-hey wny's everyone c-celebrating? C-could someone j-j-just ans-answer m-me already?" Viper asked.

I sighed. "Kili controlled Nick to jump on Desmond's back and they teleported to her camp," I choked out slowly.

"We need to do it, Fey. We need to kill Kili."

Those words echoed through my mind, blurring everything else until my skull was filled with a horrible buzzing. Kill Kili kill Kili kill Kili kill kill kill killkillkillkillkill. I took a deep breathe, clearing my mind, and turned to Mikael. "Should we all go for it? Or do we have a plan?"

Nick,

As Des stares at me, I feel that I am out of Kili's control. I know that she made me teleport her somewhere, but I don't know exactly where. I hold out a hand to Des, but he glares at it and gets up on his own.

"What the hell was that all ab-" He begins to say, but I shush him.

"I'm really sorry about that, Des," I whisper as he rubs his throat, "Kili got a hold of me, and then she made me teleport us and her somewhere. I think we're at her camp."

"Mental blocks up, d'ya reckon?"

"Yeah," I say, just as Kili, Zanette, and Caramel step out from behind some trees.

"Teleport, Nick," Des whispers urgently, eying the weapons in their hands. I try, but I can't do it. Kili smiles as she draws closer and closer. I squeeze my eyes shut and scream TELEPORT in my head. But still nothing happens. Kili's grin is mirrored on Caramel's and Zanette's faces, but their eyes are blank. Finally, they stop walking, and Kili opens her mouth.

"Having trouble, Nick?" She says sweetly, "I think you may just have discovered my secret weapon," I stare at her.

"Secret...weapon?" Des asks.

"Oh, yes," She turns her head. Out of the forest on the other side of the clearing comes a lone figure. The other new guy. I almost forgot about him. Seth, I think his name was. Force fields. I look up into the sky. I can see something, just barely, a crackle of energy. I hesitate before speaking.

"He can block our powers?" I venture. Kili nods, and then laughs.

"You're not going anywhere, either of you,"

I had been sitting in the abandoned camp for only a bit when Nick teleported out of nowhere. I dove into the brush, too off guard to break up my molecules. I was surprised to find that the other new kid, Seth, was also there. He had been waiting for something.

There was a large commotion in the clearing. Seth stepped out of the brush and left me to watch.

Kili and Carmel had reappeared. Kili was grinning madly and Nick looked more than a little worried.

Force fields around powers? I realized, regarding Seth. Isn't he lucky.

I figured I should probably help Kili, but I didn't feel like it. I took another bite of my sandwich.

I look around, my thoughts racing in a manner quite unlike me. Things had just started going well, I was not going to give it up to Kili and these other nitwits.

"So he blocks Nick's teleportation, but I wanna see you catch me."

I threw Nick over my shoulder, the fact that he was the one who got us here forgotten for the moment.

I ran as fast as I could, faster than the human eye could track, even with Nick on my shoulders. Zack was my only real issue, but he just wanted control as far as I could tell and had no real allegiances, meaning that the only person with a chance of finding us would be Zanette, but she couldn't see us with that force field blocking her, so we would wait until they lowered it, and then get out.

"Nick, I've got a plan, but you've got to be ready. They're going to lower the shield eventually, for one reason or another, food, etc. I can stay away from them until then, but as soon as its lowered I need you to get us into town. Don't take us to camp."

Nick,

I go limp as Des picks me up and speeds off, leaving Kili shrieking behind us. I start to say that I'm sorry, but this just isn't the right time. Des is yelling something at me about the force field being down sometime, and me needing to teleport us, but not to camp.

"Where do you want me to go then?" I yell over the wind rushing around us.

"To TOWN, I said, Nick! Weren't you listenting?" I shouts back.

"Not really," I mutter, thinking about him and Kat holding hands. Suddenly, the thin, crackling energy of the force field around us disappears. Without a moment's hesitation, I get us to Sunnyside.

"Now what?" I ask to Des.

"We need to hide. Draw her attention away from the group if we can. Your ability is something she will most likely want, so if we can keep her looking for us than we can buy the others some time to get prepared, or get away, witch-ever's first."

"But what exactly do we do."

"Call Fee or Kat, tell them the plan, maybe find a way to bribe marcus."

"Do you have a phone?"

"I can't call."

"Why?"

It hurt to say it, especially to Nick, "I can't lie to Kat. Not after tonight, but no one can know where we are. I need you to do it."

"This has been going on for too long," I growled. "We need to do it, Fey. We need to kill Kili." As crazy as it sounded it was the only option i could see working. Fee stood stock still staring wordlessly into space. It was odd, with the hue of my skin she looked like a statue. The irony was not lost on me.
"Should we all go for it? Or do we have a plan?" Fee looked worried.
"I don't know. Everytime we've tried slap dash rescues some thing has gone wrong and it's done more harm than good. We need a few of us. Trained, armed and ready to protect the circus at all costs." I felt like a general speaking to recruits. I knew this would be a turning point for the circus. It would end in salvation or death.

I took a shaky breath and nodded. He was right again. I couldn't kill, but I knew it was necessary. I had to do it. I was the one who ran the circus. I couldn't let it fall apart. "Alright," I said, my voice steadier than I thought it would be. "I'm willing to do anything for this circus. I'm willing to do anything for all of you. For the Misfits. But I can't do it with my bare hands. I mean, ok, I might be able to, but with my powers being shifty lately, I'm not relying on that. Do we still have any of those old fake IDs we got in California? We need ourselves some guns. Unless...?" I turned to Daemyn who was kissing Alura passionately a little way back. I cleared my throat. "Daemyn?" I asked for his attention. "Daemyn?" I asked a little louder. "Daemyn!" I shouted and he broke away from Lurie. "Jesus, Fee, what the hell do you want?" I rolled my eyes, but tried to keep myself under control. "Do you have any weapons? Guns, knifes...stuff?" I wasn't real big on weapons, and my knowledge didn't go past those two. He smiled. "Oh, yea. Sure!" After a moment of silence I asked. "Can we use them to defend ourselves and save the circus?" He looked dramatically thoughtful for some time, then nodded, walking towards his van. "Sure, but you can't yell at me, Fee."

Alura

Me and Daemyn and the rest of the group fallowed. I got myself in front of the van and and watched as Daemyn nodded to me, "Listen up everybody, Lurie's going to show the guns and how to use them and I will do the knives!" He yelled. Fee and Mikael and Kat and all the rest sat on the floor. I proceeded to lift my tutu to grab one of my favorite guns, his name was frosty. Fee looked shocked,"You keep a gun in your tutu?" I smiled, "Actually I keep three" I then took the gun and held in my hand, "OK everybody...this is is a gun, you shoot people and things with it. This is the hole where the bullet come out of and this is the safety, I recommend you don't use the safety,oh and this is the trigger. Daemyn bring out the big guys!" Daemyn got on his van and hit floor in the trunk so that my guns would be previewed and my beautiful guns laid in there. When me and Daemyn last counted we had 30. Ah my bazooka!,Fee looked annoyed, "You even keep guns in the van!?" Daemyn and me smiled, "Yep..30 of them" I made myself in front of the van again, "Ready for a demonstration? Mikael" I aimed Frosty at Mikael's chest and pulled the trigger. He just laughed while Fee almost had a heart attack, "OK Daemyn your turn!"

I laughed as Fee shouted "Lurie!", obviously horrified. "Anywhoo," I said, pulling out a good old fashioned butcher knife. "This here knife," I said, holding it up for all to see. "Is a big boy. Not a sword, no way, but he's a decent little helper. Lurie, the melon?" she laid a cantaloupe out on out rickety old picnic table, curtsying adorably as she skipped away. I smiled at her, before turning to the melon. "Now, ladies n gents, this is how you hack someone to pieces." I then attacked the melon, some ACDC blasting through my head. When the melon was a mushy pulp, I stepped back, hardly even sweating. I smiled at everyone, winking at the appalled Fee. "And this," I said, fishing a heart shaped piece from the pile and handing it Lurie. "Is how you feed your girl." She giggled and said happily. "I love melon!" before popping it in her mouth. "Ok," I said, now serious. "In a way knives are harder than use than guns. You have to know the individual knife well enough to be able to properly work it. A gun- no offense, sweets- you just pull the trigger and go. With a knife you have to know the balance and weight, the length, sharpness, tons of different factors. However, since you are all total, sad newbs, you'll have to try your best." Lurie then set out a row of watermelons, and a few soup cans on top of the van. "You first two," I said, pointing to Kat and Mikael. "Work with me on knives." "And you," Alura chirped, tapping Lizzie on the head. "And you," she said, tapping Fee. "Come work with me!" I smiled as, handing out some standard kitchen knives. This would be fun...

BAM! The shot from Alura's gun made me jump, but it didn't deter me. I stumbled over to the others by the van. It was stupid, I know, but at least I still had the blanket on.

"No Viper," Alura said sharply, "you need to rest."

"B-b-but-"

Fee took me by the arm, other hand holding the knife Daemyn had handed her. "It's great that you want to help," she said kindly as she attempted to lead me back to the tent, "but you're no good to us like this. You need rest."

I didn't budge. "N-no, I g-get that, it's-s-s-s just... w-wouldn't it b-be better if we c-c-could take them back w-without killing a lot of p-people?" I pulled my arm out of her grip. "I j-just want to help."

Nick,

I think about communicating with Fee and the rest of the Circus. Well, nothing for it. I'll have to steal a couple of walkie-talkies from the store across the street. I close my eyes and imagine the devices, plus batteries in my hands. Two of them instantly appear in my hands. I smile. Then, I teleport one of them to Fee, on the right channel. I turn mine on.

"Fee, answer my if you can hear," I say loudly. I hear some yells, and some frantic noises.

"Nick? Is that you?" Fee's voice is scratchy.

"Yeah. And in case you're wondering, no, I'm not with Kili, and yes, Des is with me." I hear Kat let out a relieved stream of babble. I roll my eyes.

'We're in Sunnyside, but we're not going to go back to camp just yet. Kili might have a way to track us. Would you by any chance have any weapons over there?"

"Yeah, Lurie and Auguste are telling us how to use them."

"Good," I imaging two of the weapons there using lying on the ground at my feet." Before I open my eyes, Des lets out a surprised shout.

"They're using...machine guns?" I stare at the guns at my feet.

"Where on this good green earth did Lurie, Lurie of all people, get those?"

We sat in a semi circle, watching in amazement as Daemyn and Alura, little Lurie of all people, produce various peices of deadly hard wear. I had wondered on occasion where the kitchen knives, the knives for the throwing act and the meat preparing knives had got to, but i had never put two and two toghether. But guns, i mean real deadly GUNS! Where the hell had Deamyn and Alura got those from!
Alura produced a suprisingly large hand gun from under her tutu and promptly shot me in the chest, much to Fee's dismay. We split into groups to be shown how to handle these new and dangerous objects.
"Hey Daemyn," I said, butchering a melon with a meat cleaver. "If you don't mind me asking, where did you get this stuff from?"
"You remember last year when those police came to the circus and tried to arrest us?"
"How could i forget." I remembered the look of shock on a policemans face as i snapped the cuffs.
"Well when kili made them 'leave', Alura and I may have gone round and taken their wepons off them. I mean we didn't want them hurting themselves in their suggestible state."
"Of course you were just being good citizens. But, wait, why did they bring a bazooka?!"
"Must of heard about inviciboy." He laughed at the look of shock on my face.
"Oh come, what did you expect? Pea shooters and spud gun?"
"I guess." I turned back to my slowly diminishing melon.
I have looked into the eye of the storm and stared it down. I am an adrenaline junky and i know no fear.

At the moment, I was watching as Deamyn demonstrated the use of a gun. I watched, somewhat bored, my mind flashed back to how I had gotten there.

It had been easy enough. After quickly finishing my sandwich, I disintegrated and took control of Seth's force field. I experienced traveling with Nick and Des. As the force field faded, I left it(didn't want to end up dead, for it was a very unpleasant thing, I hear). I listened to the walkie conversation, and quickly floated to the camp.

I snapped back to reality. Time to move forward. I went into a gun one of the Misfits had picked up. I held the gun back when they pulled the trigger. Shrugging, they tossed it aside, thinking it broken. I rolled away without anyone noticing.

I returned to Kili's camp, carrying the gun in human form.

"Free guns," I say simply, tossing the gun to the ground. Then I went back to collect more.
