Nick,

I open my eyes again, after seeing the death of Kili. It was good to know that she had felt regret, in the end, but that didn't heal my wounds or get rid of the fact that she had tried to destroy all of us. As I felt myself slipping back into unconsciousness, I hear someone scream Kat's name, although why they're screaming, I can't tell. All I know in that moment is that someone needs to help Kat, and then get to healing Fee and me.

Nick's eyes fluttered and he made to rise, but I pushed him back onto the bed, "Stay here. If you move the scabs will open, and it'll take days for them to form again. You've been active way to much with the wounds you've sustained."

He laid back down, but I could tell he didn't want to listen.

"We're going to the hospital soon, just hang on."

After making sure he was secured I ran to Mikael, "What happened to her? Is she hurt?"

When Kili got shot, that was it for me. If she was dead, that meant we were about finished fighting, and I was beyond exhausted. It was cold, I'd lost a lot of blood... I deserved a rest.

I curled up on the ground where I was and just laid there shivering.

Zephyra

Let him die. I was shocked at the thought, the real me, that is, the me that had been there since Kili had had her brains blown out.
"Yeah, birdie, let him die. What does it matter to you?" Carmel's taunting voice slipped though my lips. I hadn't realized that I'd said it out loud, and that Carmel had heard from her hiding place.
"Shut up! Shutupshutupshutup!" I snarled, to both Carmel, whether she was, and Zephyra, the one who was still here, for some reason.
I looked down at Viper, shivering. Huh. Guess that we should go somewhere warm next time. Knew it was a bad idea to go to the West Coast. But heat meant people, and I wanted to be sure that everyone here could... trust... me before we met new people. Too many newbies had come here; too many turned evil.
I slipped my hands under his curled up back, and heaved. How the heck did she do it? I mean, it was heavy beyond belief, and I knew that Kili and Carmel had to weigh more than one snake-boy, even if Carmel was barely anything but skin and bone.
I screwed my eyes shut, and hoped that they wouldn't mistake me for her.
"Help!"

((Is there by any chance a railroad track nearby? I just thought of the greatest death evaaaar for Carmel))

Haha, sure! How bout there's one over the hill?

Daemyn

I cursed as I looked at Alura. She was going out, going out for good. "Lurie, Lurie," muttered, riping up handfuls of grass and leaves. I had seen some guy put leaves on a wound once on TV, and I hoped desperately it would work in real life. "Lurie, Lurie, Lurie," I said, stroking hair away from her pale face. I placed my mass of vegetation on her wound. It was a clean cut, but it was large and she was bleeding badly. I looked around for some one to help me and say Lizzie cowering in the corner of the tent, Zeb hugging her tightly. "Lizzie!" I called. "Lizzie, please help. Please, what am I supposed to do?" She came over unsteadily, a tear falling from her eye as she took in Lurie's condition. She sighed, wiping the tear away. "I can't do anything." She said, her voice shaky. "But you can. Zeb, hand me that metal bar by your foot."

Reddy, Ranna, and Puffy, you remember how we were talking about that thing? The thing we were going to mak eDaemyn do??? Well, what exactly was it? I forgot. ^///^

Ummm, wasn't Daemyn going to burn the wound, or something like that? Or are you talking about Lurie and Daeymn's road trip idea?

Those nearby gasped in shock at the sight of Kili getting up. I tested out my ability. At first, I could only perform a sort of limp, but I finally managed to walk normally. Speech could come later. First, I reached into Kili's mind, searching the complex system. I learned a lot of interesting things about the human mind, but that's beside the point. I found where Kili's powers were stored.

With the merest attempt, suddenly everyone within range was feeling very sick.

[[just to note, Kili's power is very weak under Zack's control, as he only has limited access to the mind.]]

I took the metal bar Lizzie had handed to me, feeling slightly queasy. "Ok, stick the flat end in the fire," Lizzie instructed me, and I did as she said. With her help, I took the bar from the fire when it was hot enough, ripping open the collar of Luries shirt. Ignoring the heat in my cheeks, I picked the bar up, inspecting the wound. The leaves hadn't done any good, and she looked paler now, if that was possible. "Ok, now put the hot end to her skin, right over the cut." "What?!" I screamed, jumping up. "Lizzie, I'm not going to burn her!" Lizzie paled a bit, gulping. "N-no! It'll seal the wound! A bit risky, but-" "A bit?!" I screeched, not believing a word she was saying. "Daemyn, she's going to die if we don't close it up now!" Lizzie yelled at me, and I looked at her. Tears were streaming from her green eyes and dirt was smudging her tan face. She loved Lizzie just as much as me, maybe more. I had to do it. I sighed, nodding. I took my place back at Lurie's side, gulping as I position the red hot bar above Alura's heart. I looked at her face, knowing what had to be done. I took a deep breath in, and pushed down on the bar.

Her eyes flew open and she screamed.

By the way, real-life-buddies, how about we not talk about upcoming plans for Misfit before we get there? Y'know? It'll ruin the fun and all.

Thanks 9_9

I frowned slightly in annoyance. Someone was trying to move me, I think. I would have told them to shove off and leave in peace, but that would require moving, and moving required energy.

My yellow slitted eyes cracked open. Of all people, Zephyra was trying to help me. I couldn't suppress a slight grin. "Hey beautiful," I murmured.

Yeah, I was pretty out of it.

Suddenly my stomach twisted, and I curled up tighter with a moan. Why was I feeling sick all of a sudden?

[[Ermm... it occurs to me sickness isn't exactly and emotion. Should we say I altered the emotions in a pattern that makes people believe there sick, or should I edit my post?]]
