Sharonda blinked several times, waiting for the world to stop spinning. She shook her head. "I don't remember. I was walking down the hill, and the next thing I know I'm here. Who are you?"

The person laughed. "I'm Gillim. And, you are?"

Sharonda rubbed her head. "Sharonda."

Her head stopped spinning, and she was able to get a good look at Gillim. He had short brown hair, and a kindly expression. His eyes were a bright gold, a color in eyes that Sharonda hadn't seen before. "It's so nice of you to grace my humble abode with your presence" Gillim said.

Sharonda smiled. "Thanks, I think." She looked around again. "Nice place you've got here."

Gillim

He laughed. "You are too kind, Sharonda. Are you feeling all right?"

The girl nodded with a slight wince and got up, stretching. "It's, er, very classical looking."

"I get that a lot. It used to be a great structure, but it began falling into disrepair a while back, before I moved in." Gillim's eyes followed her progress as she began walking around. Suddenly she froze.

"Anything wrong?"

"The trees... Don't tell me we're in the Black Forest!"

Gillim chuckled. "I could say that we weren't, but that would be a lie and lying is rather impolite."

Sharonda looked rather frightened. "But why would you live out here? It's dangerous!"

"Because it's nice? I really don't know what the big fuss is about. I've never been bothered by all the animals that supposedly live here."

Sharonda

Sharonda raised her eyebrows at him. "Not bothered by them? I've seen several fairies come in and out of this forest. One of which didn't come out again. Are you insane?"

Gillim just smiled at her. "Perhaps, perhaps not. You'll never know will you?"

Sharonda just scowled at him. "Where in the Black forest are we?"

Lyanna

When Lyanna opened her eyes her room was completely dark. Her glow-in-the-dark watch told her it was 11:52 at night. Her 'parents' would be asleep by now. She got out of bed, wincing as she shifted her weight to her injured arm.

She strode across the room, opened the door, and walked down a creaky set of stairs. She opened a door at the bottom, being careful not to make a sound. On the couch, passed out, were her parents, snoring loudly. An overflowing ashtray was on one arm of the couch, and her mother's head was on the other. Empty beer bottles littered the floor, along with empty wrappings and cigarette cases.

Lyanna wrinkled her nose, stepping through the room carefully. She opened another door and went into the kitchen. This room looked pretty much the same as the living room. She opened the refridgerator, one shelf of which was dominated by six-packs of beer.

She looked in the door of the refridgerator, finding a small chunk of cheddar cheese. She took it out and ate it, closeing the fridge door and walking out of the room again. Her parents were still snoring.

She picked her way back through the room and opened her front door, stepping outside into the cool night air. She breathed deeply. This was her favorite time of day. It was quiet, no parents to hurt her, no other people to insult her, and the moon shining brightly.

She closed the door behind her, stepped off the porch, and began walking.

Clotho

She trailed her fingers along the bark of the forest, loving the feeling beneath her fingertips. She wished Marneus was here, he could add to her peacefulness.

She had gone to the mortal realm last night. She wanted to see the dreams of her special mortals. She loved how they almost dreamed the real Lost City. There were a few minor differences, but they were close enough.

Lost in thought, she didn't hear the pseron sneaking up on her until she heard a twig snap underneath the weight of someone. She turned to see...

Could someone talk to Tanya? She's awful lonely and she's supposed to be a pretty big part here. ^_^

^^ I am supposed to be her friend in the mortal, but I have no idea where she is, if she's in the mortal or lost world, and where she is there.

She's in the mortal. (: In the woods, where you'll find her most of the time. ^_^ Oh and I didn't know you were supposed to be her friend *blushes* I must have missed that. I'll try to post for her in a bit.

Laurie

She took me to the forest again, thankfully I was still in my dirty dress so I didn't have to ruin one more. I was quite apprehensive abut what we where going to do but I still followed her. From the distance we spotted a girl, or a actually another fairy, standing there.
"Come" Sar told me, "I know her" and again, she pulled my elbow and led me to her, we were quite until a twig broke underneath us and the fairy turned around. Yes, we knew her, it was Clotho.
"Hello" Sar said happily.
"Hey" I said, smiling but she was wide eyed.
"You scared me, girls!! God!!"
Sar and i laughed hard at her expression, she looked funny all wide eyed and gasping.
"It's just us" I said, fighting a laughter but it was nearly impossible. But eventually our laughter finished and we could speak normally.
"So what are you doing here" I asked her.

No worries, I got it ... (by the way, Sadie doesn't know Tanya is a fairy, they are quite new friends)

Sadie

I saw a familiar figure sitting on a tree stump. I crept up behind her and put my hands on her shoulder.
"Boo!"
Tanya didn't move, she just laughed.
"I heard you coming about 5 minutes ago. Sounded like a herd of elephants back there!"
I pushed her shoulder, "Sure, sure, Miss Magical! What other mystic powers do you have? Flight perhaps? Or maybe you always know what I'm thinking, in which case, I didn't mean anything that I said about you!"
She laughed again, but this time it seemed slightly tense, nervous even. I sat myself down on the muddy floor.
"So, what's up?"

((I'll bring Tanya in.))

Lyanna

Lyanna was heading towards the old forest on the borders of town. She had seen strange things there at night. Glowing lights, bells, and occasionally a face. She was going to investigate.

Ten minutes later Lyanna was at the edge of the forest. She came here sometimes, glad to be away from the noise and bustle of the town. She stepped in between some trees. Moss covered the ground in a thick green carpet, and the trees reached high above her head. She hummed quietly as she walked.

A few minutes later she was deep in the forest. Lyanna heard a twig snap behind her. She whirled around.

Tanya

She smiled at her friend. Sadie was clever...sometimes too clever for her own good. Did she not realize just how different Tanya was from her? Of course she did, she just hadn't put two and teo together yet.

"Nothing too important," Tanya laughed. "Unfortunately there has been nothing going on with me, actually."

"Sounds about like things are for me," responded Sadie.

Actually Tanya had already met a few humans in the woods already. They just so happened to be some of the more stupid humans she meet, though.

"I figured I'd find you here though," Sadie smiled, picking up the conversation. "You're always out here doing who knows what."

"It's quiet out here...and it's much better than dealing with some of those cruel humans I know," Tanya shrugged.

"Humans?" Sadie giggled. "You ARE a human."

Tanya blushed. "I-uh," Tanya started to explain.

"Though, I see where you're coming from. People are brutal, you know," Sadie frowned.

"Um, yeah," Tanya sighed to herself. Not that Sadie was brutal or mean in any way. She wouldn't be friends with her if she was like most of the humans she met.

"So what do you want to do?" Tanya asked, changing the subject.

A small squirrel ran up a tree, startled. Lyanna relaxed, and continued walking. Her watch said 12:16. She sighed. She'd have to get home soon. Maybe those things I heard and saw were just my imagination. She thought. Then she came to a clearing.

There were two people sitting there, one was human, but the other looked different. They looked up at her, startled.

**Oh my gosh, gspp, I totally did NOT see your post. ): I guess we all must have posted around the same time. :P Anyway...**

Tanya

"Hello," Tanya said, cautiously.

"Hey," the girl smiled brightly. "I didn't mean to scare you."

"That's alright," Tanya said, softly, her voice kind. "What are you doing so far out here?"

The girl shrugged. "Nothing really. I just...enjoy the woods." Tanya nodded and instatly relaxed. The girl seemed to feel the same attration the woods held over her. Weird for a human.

"I'm Tanya, by the way. And this is my good friend, Sadie," she smiled, nodding towards her friend.

"I'm Lyanna." Lyanna replied.

Tanya nodded. Lyanna walked over to them and sat down, but accidentally leaned on her arm. She let out a small yelp and picked it up, examining it closely. The burn mark hadn't faded, in fact, it looked worse than it had before.

"What is it?" Tanya asked, slightly concerned.
Lyanna shook her head. "It's nothing. It'll be fine in a few days." Tanya just grabbed her arm. Lyanna winced.
"Where did this come from?" Tanya asked.
"My parents." Lyanna confessed. "Mom got mad... She was cooking. Enough said. People at school actually call me Patchwork because of all of my bruises that they give me."

Tanya

"That's...that's horrible. Barbaric!" Tanya shouted, disgusted.

"Really, it's fine," Lyanna smiled sadly. "Honestly, I'm used to it."

Tanya swallowed the bile in her thoat. This was the very thing she was protected form in the lost world. This was such a terrible thing...and for this human girl to just accept this treatment!

"Here, let me help treat that for you," Tanya said, her motherly instints kicking in. Tanya had always been kind. In fact, most people in the lost world believed that she wouldn't kill a single fly.

"There's really not much you can do," Lyanna laughed. "It'll heal soon, though."

"No, I insist," Tanya smiled, pulling her up and carrying her to the river. Sadie laughed a little.

"You'll get used to this. Besides, Tanya's always like this. Though she is a miracle worker. She can really mend you up fast," Sadie told Lyanna. Tanya swallowed a little. She knew she wasn't being very careful with her powers, but she couldn't just let this girl go on this all these painful marks.

Tanya stopped by the stream and kneeled with Lyanna next to it. Tanya took some of the water on the burn. She used her energy and focused it on the damaged skin. She mumbled under her breath and performed a healing enchantment on the girls burn.

"It should be better very soon," Tanya smiled.

"It...it feels better now," Lyanna said, incredulously. Tanya shrugged.

"It's, uh, just the water. It helps with fresh water, I hear," she lied. It was a good thing she had expierence lying. She still hated to do it though.
