*I guess I'll post more for Clotho*

"Oh, it was just Damion, he had some news for me," Laurie waved it off. "So did you find something to wear tonight?"

"Kind of, how about this one?" She pulled out a gown of lilac lace, with purple trimming, a square cut neckline and three quarter sleeves with lace on the ends.

"Oh, it's perfect for you! Now, we just have to set your hair up."

Alittle while later Clotho and Laurie stepped out dressed for the best. While walking to the castle they ran into Marneus. "Marn! You looked dressed to kill."

"I try, my hardest," He looked at Clotho, who was just recovering from a blush that had taken over her entire face. "Wow, Clo, you look..."

"Amazing? Beautiful? Gorgeous?" Laurie supplied.

"Beautiful," He still hadn't stopped looking at her. He made her feel so special.

She caught herself, just in time before she started to swoon. "Okay, well, um...walk with us?" She finished lamely.

"Of course," He offered her his arm, while Laurie went around to grab his free arm. "Two beautiful ladies on my arms, what more could I need?"

Gillim

As soon as Dylan's hand was in his own, Gillim clamped down on it in a steely grip, a look of triumph on his face. "Well, it's been a while since I've had this opportunity. What to do, what to do... Ah, I know!"

Dylan tried to pull away. "What's going on? let go!" Suddenly his shape began to change.

Soon instead of a person standing in front of the fairy, there was a dappled-grey horse. He looked a bit shocked.

Gillim cackled gleefully and swung himself onto Dylan's back. "Care to join me, Sharonda?" he asked casually. "We could have a lovely ride through the park."

Sharonda was worried. This isn't going to turn out well. She thought. "We're new in town, and I was just trying to meet some new people." She saw Gillim's extended hand. She breathed in sharply. Don't do it. She pleaded in her head. Gillim glanced at her, smiling mischeviously, as if he knew what she was thinking.

The mortal reached out and grabbed Gillim's hand.

Sharonda was horrified. "Gillim, what are you doing!? We're going to get in huge trouble! turn him back! Now!"

Gillim looked slightly annoyed with her. "Come on Sharonda, what's wrong with a bit of fun? I'll turn him back to normal later."

Sharonda crossed her arms and decided to try something. "Turn him back now. It's not funny." Her voice was laced with hypnotic magic.

Gillim

The male fairy's lids started to droop over his brilliant yellow eyes, then he shook his head. "Stop... that," he slurred, trying to regain control of himself. He waved his hand as though he were trying to wave away her words.

Sharonda's eyes narrowed. "Turn. Him. Back."

Gillim stopped moving around. "Yes Sharonda." He slipped off the horse's back and put one hand on its 'shoulder.' Dylan shivered as he slipped from the great grey form to his original self.

Sharonda sighed and sat down. That had taken a lot out of her. The mortal seemed to be in a state of shock, his eyes flicking from Sharonda, to Gillim, then back to Sharonda again.

She ignored him, and turned back to Gillim, who was starting to recover from his hypnotism. She sighed and got up again. She would probably have to do something about him. But now that she thought about it, she didn't want to go back to the Lost World. Not for a while anyway.

Then the mortal recovered.

((We should probably give Dylan a chance to respond to the fact that he just got turned into a horse and back before we post anymore))

Laurie

Clotho looked amazing. So amazing, that even Marneus said it and I know she cares too much about his opinion. The thing is, she doesn't know I know she has some sort of crush on him. But it's ok, he is a good looking male fairy. As for me, I was wearing a soft pink, sleevless dress wich fell down like waves straight from the waist. I pulled my long curly blonde hair into a bun with small strands of hair that fell into my face. I loved my dress but I had to admit that Clotho was the princess tonight and her prince was right in front of her.
From where I was I could see the castle and how lots of fairies and magicinad and all kinds of aristocrats of our kind arrived. Eventually I found Sar and asked her to come us. BUt for some reason I wanted to know more about Tanya and all I hoped was that I could find Damion again.

DAMION

Damion had hung out around here. He couldn't go back to the mortal realm. The only reason he went there was to find Tanya.

Laurie came out with a few people with her. Damion raised his eyebrows and stood. "Wow, Laurie...you look amazing," he nodded.

She blushed slightly. "Thanks. Didn't think I'd get a compliment out of you, Damion," she laughed.

He smiled slightly. "What going on?" He asked her. "And do you not have an escort?"

He found that hard to believe. She had always been very pretty and tonight...well, she was stunning.

Damion fiddled narrowed his eyes. "You know what, I think I'll go crash this party. I'll meet you there with your date."

He laughed at her shocked expression. Damion was never into these things. He took off without listening to her answer. He had to change fast. Damion had an old tux somewhere in his closet.

Dylan

He couldn't believe what had just happened. All he knew was that these people were wierd.
"Wh- wh-what just- what did you do to me?!?" His eyes shifted between Gil and the girl.

Gil's face twisted into a wicked smile, "That my dear boy, is something you will never know."

Gillim

Gillim shook his head in a daze, trying to knock loose the last remnants of Sharonda's hypnotic spell. "That was COMPLETELY uncalled for," he slurred, rubbing his eyes. Maybe he could turn Sharonda into something without a voice so she couldn't do that again.

"Completely uncalled for?!" Sharonda put her hands on her hips. "You turned that poor mortal into a-"

"Wh- wh-what just- what did you do to me?!?" The poor mortal in question had finally got through his shock enough to say something.

Gillim pulled his thoughts together enough to shoot him a wicked grin. "That, my dear boy, is something you will never know."

He turned to Sharonda quickly, dropping the evil smile. "But we can't just let him dash off and go gabbing to everyone about us!" And I have always wanted a pet human. Funny little things they are...

Sharonda locked eyes with the mortal. "I can take care of it." This would be a huge challenge, as she was still low on energy from hypnotising Gillim. "Nothing out of the ordinary happened to you at all." She said in a hypnotic tone.

the mortal's eyelids began to droop, like Gillim's had. But this mortal had an exceptionally strong mind. "No, something..." He gasped. Sharonda increased the hypnotic power, but overestimated her ability. She felt the last bit of her energy leave her. She fell backwards and her head hit the hard concrete.

Everything went black.

**Can I jump in?**
All I can hear; "I me mine, I me mine, I me mine". Even those tears; "I me mine, I me mine, I me mine". No one's frightened of playing it. Everyone's saying it. Flowing more freely than wine. All through your life; "I me mine".

I only know that learning to believe in the power of my own words has been the most freeing experience of my life. It has brought me the most light. And isn't that what a poem is? A lantern glowing in the dark.
