Apollo

"I'm just sorry I don't see you much outside of counselling the others," he apologised. The others. Those of wounded hearts who were so often sent to his room.

"It's fine, Apollo. I'm busy myself."

He nodded. "Of course."

Awkward silence stretched on, then Apollo roused himself and asked her with a beaming smile, "So, how was your day, sister?"

**Sorry about the rubbishness of it. I'm tired and confused. |:

Hera

She lounged on a soft bed, draped in silk. In one hand she held a bunch of wine-red grapes, and with the other she popped them into her smiling mouth. She giggled at something Keritan had said, and turned her head to see where Zeus sat, grim and brooding.

"What is it, my lord? Are there no pretty young things to entertain you at this present time?"

The atmosphere changed like that. Silence descended and everyone looked for Zeus' reaction.

"No, Hera. You know I see only you."

With a sly grin she turned back to the crowd and said to Keritan in a loud voice, "It's true. He has eyes only for me. Yet there are other things which shall never be mine, but the possession of every fine-looking maiden who should ever wander past when his attentions wander."

"You are unfair, Hera," Zeus said, unmistakably angry.

"I suppose I am, yet I speak only the truth." She popped another grape into her mouth. "You dare deny the truth, my lord?"

He opened his mouth angrily, but was interrupted when a knock came upon the door.

Terpsichore
"Oh, Polyphymnia, don't even say that!!" Terpsichore said as a reaction to her sister's ples,. "I don't need you to be my servant. You're my siter and I'll do anything you request"
She watched Polyphymnia jump happily and she laughed. She loved waching her sisters be happy and content, and if it was poossible for her to be part of that happiness, she was willing to do anything to make them laugh.
"I'll help you find him, but first you have to get ready ok, we'll both get ready and then head to the festival?" Terpsichore said to Polyhymnia as they walked towards their home. They ran the whole way to it, and even running Terpsichore looked graceful.

Artemis
Yes she loved her brother very much and missed him everytime he was not there.
"Well, I'm ok, life has granted me everything I need, including excellent skills" She said, turning around to look at him and smiled.
"I caught a hawk today"she added. "How as your day? and how's Zeus" For some reason she called her father Zeus instead of father. He loved him indeed, adored him beyond reason, but she never felt such thing as to call him father.
"First of all. why don't you call him father? and second, it was great. Few people toady at counseling"
They walk trhough the forest until the question he asked finally hit Artemis and made her think and reconsider things.
"I haven't seen...father in a while. You see him everyday and I was thinking if I could you know see him one of this days" she was nervous, swinging the hawk she caught nervously, twitching her mouth a little and letting out a smile at last.

*Clio*

I hadn't moved from my spot ever since Cal left. I was nervous, wondering if Father would say that he didn't want to come, that he didn't want to see me, or that he was too busy. Gods knew he had more children than just me and my sisters.

I sat there, chewing on my nails, waiting. All of a sudden, I saw Terpsichore and Polyhymnia run through the clearing. They were going so fast I didn't know it was them at first, but when I did, I shouted at them. "Sisters!"

They stopped and turned around. "Clio?"

I waved at them and they came back to me, laughing.

"We didn't even see you!" said Polyhymnia, sitting down beside me.

"Well, I'm glad you ran through, because guess what!" I said.

"What?" they both looked at me with wide eyes.

"Cal is going to try and bring Father down to see us!"
We're all a bit mad...

Terpsichore
"Really?" she asked Clio in abvious disbelief, turning to see Polyphymnia who was smiling widely.
"Yes, we talked about it, this morning"
"That is so sweet" Terpsichore said jumping up and down with her permanent grace. "When do you think she'll bring him?" She added.
"I don't know, but soon, be sure of that" Clio responded with eagerness in her voice.
Terpsichore thought for a moment about this whole seeing father situation, would it be possible that father could come down to see them?
"I think..." she paused. "that we should ask Apollo" But as soon as she said that Clio froze in her place and Terpsichore regretted what she said.

Calliope

Calliope knocked on the door to the counsel room lightly. What had seemed like an excellent idea back in the clearing was no longer. Calliope's stomach twinged in nervousness as she heard the laughing from within the room go silent.

"Come in," boomed out her father's voice. Calliope froze for a moment; he sounded irritated.

But Calliope pushed on and forced herself through the door, struggling to maintain a calm look on her face. She had never intruded on one of her father's counsel's before, but Zeus had never specifically said not to.

Shock registered on the gods' faces as they saw their young counterpart step in. Out of the corner of her eyes, Calliope saw Hera shoot up in her seat, glaring at Calliope. Calliope locked her eyes on her father. She couldn't be bothered with Hera now.

"Father," she said, dipping her head. "Pardon my intrusion. I come with a plea from my sisters and I."

Zeus's eyebrow raised. "Yes, Calliope?" he said. Calliope exhaled softly in relief; he didn't sound upset with her, merely curious.

"My sisters - " said Calliope carefully and respectfully. She had to time this right, or common dignity would prevent Zeus from joining her. The king of the gods, after all, could hardly afford to run to the wishes of all of his children. Especially if that child was not even known to the mortals as a goddess yet... "Many of them have only met you once or twice, Father. I myself have seen you maybe a dozen times at best. We ask you if you could come to us, let us talk, bond. Let my sisters feel as if they are part of the grand family of Olympus. Please, Father, we implore you to consider it. It wouldn't take much, and we would be forever grateful if you would."

Zeus watched Calliope carefully. Calliope kept her gaze steady, waiting for an answer.

Polyhymnia

Father was coming here? She pondered the thought it has been such a long time since she has seen father. She missed him dearly.
She stared silently as her sisters continued their conversation. Her ears picked up on a mistake of Terpsichore and she gave her sister Clio a sympathetic glance.
She thought suddenly of the festival, and hoped that this would get their attention off Apollo.
"The Festival!" she said suddenly, startling both of her sisters
She started grinning as she thought of the boy she would see if she could get both of her sister to this festival.
"Please come with us to the festival Clio. It wouldn't be the same without you." She gave her sister a pleading glance
She thought quickly of her large collection of beautiful garments and smiled at her sister
"You can have one of my garments."
Clio and Terpsichore laughed at her as they knew she wanted to see the guy she was in love with.
Parting with her garments was something big for Polyhymnia, they were her secret obsession and she had acquired a large selection of the world most beautiful garments.
"please" she asked again, happy that she had diverted their attention for now.

Terpsichore
Clio joined Terpsichore and Polyphymnia. Terpsichore loved the idea of going to the festival with het other sister. Besides, she was thinking of asking Clio about the guy Polyphymnia liked. They reached their home and headed to Polyphymnia's closet.
She had really beutiful garments.
"This one is beutiful" Terpsichore said, taking a purple sleevless dress that she liked very much. But to the left side of that one was a white short sleeved dress with a small gold chain that accentuated the breast. She now did not know what to wear. And she found another beautiful dress after the first two.
"Hey, which one do you think I should wear" Terpsichore asked them, showing them the three dresses.
"Two of them are actually yours sister" Poluphymnia sair making Terpsichore gasp.
"What do you say Clio"
"Well, it's hard to choose, they're all beutiful"

***So in this, I really need help, so Alice Rose, lost-my-mind some help. The dresses are in the spoiler***

*Clio*

I looked at the dresses in awe. I didn't know that Poly owned such beautiful things. Perhaps that was one of the things she had asked Father for the last time we all had seen him.

I looked at them for a second more, and then turned away. I looked at my sisters.

"Well? Which one do you want to wear?" they both asked at the same time.

I hesitated, and then said, "I don't think I'm going."

They both lost that excited gleam in their eyes. "Why not?"

I paced the floor. "You know that I'm not big on festivals, ever since that one..." I let my voice trail off.

"Clio, for Zeus's sake, just forget it!" Terpsichore said with exasperation. "It's been almost four years. Forgive and forget!"

I gave her a cold look. "You know that won't ever happen."

She immediately looked sorry, and turned away.

"Clio, I know you won't ever forget what happened, but you can't just stay in the forest forever." Poly said reassuringly, putting her arm around my shoulder. "You must get out and live your life. We're only young once." With that last part, she smiled.

"I don't want to." I said with finality. "I want to be here in case Cal comes back with Father. If you two want to go, then go. We'll just have to do something together another time."

With that, I walked out, leaving my sisters in a stunned silence. They don't understand, and they never will.
We're all a bit mad...

Hera

"How dare you!" she hissed, glaring at Calliope. "How dare you!" She slipped off her seat and stalked towards the startled girl. "You and your sisters part of the grand family of Olympus? What an intolerable idea! You all should have died at birth!"

"Hera!" Zeus snapped.

She paused, glaring into Calliope's angry face. The girl was livid, drawing in great lungfuls of air through flared nostrils.

Hera stepped closer, invading her space. In Calliope's ear, she murmured, "You will not take him away from me, am I clear?"

"Hera, what do you say to my daughter?"

Hera stepped back and glanced at Zeus. "What did I say to your daughter? Perhaps I told her she is only one of many. Perhaps I said that her mother is one of the rare ones who gave her consent!"

Through the shocked gasps of the crowd, Zeus shouted, "Hera, you speak out of term. Apologise and be gone!"

"No, Zeus, I shall not! I will not stand for this! I will not!"

"Father, my sisters and I-"

"Yes, Calliope! You have my word!"

"My lord-"

"Hera!" Zeus snapped. He turned his gaze back on Calliope. "I understand your wishes, dear Calliope. I shall renew my efforts in being the father you all deserve. And I will-"

With a face set like stone, Hera pushed past Calliope and strode from the room, slamming the door behind her.

Ooops.

Apollo

With a small smile, he reached out and stilled her swinging arm. The feathers of the hawk soft against his fingers.

"How about I take you to see him now?"

"Now?" She appeared surprised, and slightly nervous. Her brown eyes were wide as she peered at him. "You mean, right now?"

He laughed. "You don't seem very eager."

"No. No. I am. I just... Is he busy?"

"Artemis, no one could ever be too busy to see you. Even I, my days filled with crowds of the others, still find time to walk with you. Father would love to see you. Let me take you."

**Hm, I still want to be in this, but Lizzifer hasn't replied to my post, so I'll just continue**

Aphrodite

Aphrodite left Hades to do whatever destruction he wanted. At least he agreed to give he rthe human she wanted.

"There you are!" She heard him exclaim. She smiled brightly at him and he stepped back amazed.

"You're...you're so beautiful," he sighed. Aphrodite nodded but couldn't help but feel disappointed. Attention was drawn upon her because of her beauty, not because of her.

"Why thank you," she giggled, ignoring that last thought. "Do you really think so?" She twirled for the man.

Aphrodite sighed. This human was just as boring as the rest. "Excuse me for a moment," she smiled, knowing she'd never come back but also knowing that he'd never forget her. Good. Love wasn't just the smiles and the warmth, it was also pain.

She shook her head. Olympus would welcome her. Perphaps she would even cause another God to fall in love with her. That was always fun. Mostly, though, they only had to look at her to fall in love with her.

"Zeus!" She heard Hera exclaim. Aphrodite rolled her eyes. They were at it again. Always fighting about something.

"Hello Hera, Zeus," she smiled. "Hapy to see me?" She bat her eyelashes. Hera had never liked her, mostly because her 'beloved' had too many affairs and often accused Aphrodite of making him fall in love with her. Well, what did she expect? Love and beauty was her thing.

WhiteT - Zeus is still with Calliope, but you could run into Hera. :smt003 Errrmm. Is it okay? Did I get Aphrodite right?

Hera

"Aphrodite." Hera stopped and glared at the goddesses' beautiful face. "Well, I am overjoyed to see you. What brings you here?"

Aphrodite smiled slyly. "How is Zeus?" she asked in a false, innocent manner, ignoring Hera's question.

"I do not see how it concerns you," Hera spat, striding past her.

"Oh, but I am concerned."

"Liar. You are concerned only with your own beauty. Do not declare that I am wrong."

Aphrodite grabbed Hera's arm, squeezing so hard it hurt.

"Release me!" Hera gasped, fighting to squirm out of her grip. "Release me - now!"

She did not. Breathing heavily from panic and anger, Hera saw Aphrodite's furious eyes glittering in her smooth, beautiful face. Lips drawn tight in anger, Aphrodite hissed,

"Really, Hera, such a child. No wonder Zeus must find others to satisfy his lust."

The breath whooshed out of Hera in a ragged gasp. She felt like Aphrodite had shoved her over, so stunned was she. She felt the ominous prickle of tears and stubbornly blinked them away. Aphrodite would not have the satisfaction of seeing her cry. She would not. Forcing her anger to overcome her once more, Hera ripped her arm from out of Aphrodite's grip.

**Oh, yeah. ^_^ That's her alright....sadly, lol**

Aphrodite

She raised her chin proudly. She knew that she had hurt Hera, but Hera had insulted her. She obviously knew very little about her. Yes, Aphrodite took pride in her beauty, but that wasn't all she cared about.

"Now," she replied. "Could you tell me where Zeus is?"

"Why?" Hera asked, angrily. Aphrodite raised a delicate eyebrow. Obviously this Goddess retaliated fast. She was impressed.

"Because, I have to talk to him about something. Hades is getting...a little too happy, I guess. I'm curious as to what's going on with him," Aphrodite shrugged. "He wouldn't tell me."

"What? Did he not fall for your beauty?" She asked, sneering. Aphrodite glared.

"He is loyal to Persephone," she replied, narrowing her eyes. "Now would you lead me to Zeus?"
