Melanie~

I narrowed my eyes at her. "I don't fancy him any more." I told her firmly.

"Who do you fancy then?" She asked teasingly.

Oh dear. "Fine, I'll go to the Festival, but I'll remind you, public celebrations never work out for me." I said, regretting the move.

"You're not getting away that easy dear. Who is it then?" Thalia prodded my arm teasingly.

"I'm-not-telling-you." I replied tight-lipped.

"You know I'll find out somehow, you may as well spare me the wait."

"I'm taking my chances."

She rolled her eyes. She was right though, she'd find out eventually, but until then...

"What are you wearing to the festival?" She asked, changing the subject.

"I don't know, I wasn't aware I was going until recently."

"Purple always looked fabulous on you, with your eyes and all... but of course blue for your hair..." She whisked me away before I could protest, cracking puns and speaking in rhyming couplets, always exploding into laughter after each one.

Terpsichore

She sat with ehr sister for a long while, talking, laughing and enjoying he moment. Polyhymnia was one of her favorite sisters and she somehow envied her dedication to her books and to learning. But she had nothing less though, she danced like a princess and played the lyre like no one else, so she also had her attibutes.
"Are you going to the festival" Terpsichore asked.
"I guess so, once I finish this" she replied. Terpsichore gracefulle stood up and rolled her eyes, sighing and a little disappointed at her sister so she grabbed her elbow and got her up from where she was sitting.
"you're coming" she siad, "now"
"Oh, Terpsichore, it's just a little story"
"No, you're coming now" She said pulling her toward the sity, and even when she was being tought she moved so very gracefully, almost as if she was dancing.

Right - I inserted myself with Clio, but she has yet to reply. Does anyone want to walk into our conversation?

Aphrodite

Hades and Aphrodite were exactly opposites, which was quite obvious just looking at them. Aphrodite sighed, dramamtically. If she ever got angry, it would be at Hades.

"The Fates?" She questioned. "And what, dear friend, have they got to do with this?"

"Everything," Hades said simply, in an almost teasing tone.

"Right," she rolled her eyes. "I make my own future, Hades. The Fates have no impact on my life."

Hades raised his eyebrows. "Careful what you say, little love Goddess," he warned.

Aphrodite laughed and shook her head. "You are avoiding my question, maybe?" She asked, smiling. "What have the 'Fates' asked you to do, then? Not mess with any humans. That would be cruel," she replied, mimicking him, cheerfully.

Polyhymnia

She was upset that she was stopped from reading her book, but the festival wasn't such a bad idea. Her sister was very pushy and dragged her along until she complied and walked beside her.
The festival would be fun though, the colours, the sound, and the atmosphere was amazing. The fact that the guy she so adored would be there would be an added bonus and only her sister knew who he was.
She could trust her with anything.
I hope she will be dancing tonight she thought to herself as she watched her sister walk so gracefully beside her.
"What is this festival about?" she asked curiously

Hades~~

"Death is onlly considered cruel by those that are shallow," Hades's words bit the conversation, making the air as cold as ice.

"But those shallow people are the reason you are feared," The beut of a goddess looked to the crowd circling them, so unaware, and oh so human like. She smiled then flicked her hair back again, "Zeus isn't gonna like it if your invoved."

"Think of me as just the maid service," Hades mouth formed a small and grim grin.

Thalia~~

Name: Apollo
Gender: Male
Symbol: A single golden arrow.
Personality: Apollo is light hearted and loves to ponder stuff. He will help people when they are upset, by talking them through it and showing them the positives in their lives. He has a great love of music, and when consoling those of wounded hearts, he often has some playing in the background. He is normally calm, but has an intense, direct gaze and often leans towards those he speaks to when he is in a conversation with someone he considers needs his attention. Sometimes he comes across those mortals who can do no right and will take it upon himself to shoot them with his golden arrows, even though he loathes to do it.
Appearance: Image Quite tall. But his hair is more like the statue's, but the same colour. http://statues.com/restfr/images/Apollo21inch%20%5B640x480%5D.JPG
History: He's the twin brother of Artemis, and he killed Python with his arrows. He has a set of golden arrows that deliver excruciating and immediate death or plague.
Favourite Past-time: Speaking with those with wounded hearts. Or showing his companions the 'light' of existence. Like revelations of how great their lives actually are.
Other: up for love. Or to 'heal' someone. :smt003

Note: sorry it's so late. I'll get Hera involved at some point, just gotta read through and get my bearings first. :smt003 Bear with me!
Your = Possession. Your shoes are so sweet!
You're = Omission. You're quite strange...

If you are confused about which to put, simply say in your mind "you are" and see if that fits the sentence. If not, you are looking for your.

Aphrodite

"Maid serivce!" She laughed. "Very clever, Hades."

"Yes, I thought so," he replied bitterly, thinking she was mocking him.

Aphrodite smiled. "Still, you didn't exactly reply. Does my father know about this?" She asked.

"I don't see how this is Zeus's concern," Hades shrugged.

Aphrodite tilted her head back and laughed, her brown-blonde hair falling behind her. "Everything we do is his concern, Hades. you know that."

"Hm, well whatever you do, don't mess with that human," she said, pointing to the one with the necklace. "I'm not through with him."

"You sound like a cat playing with it's food," he said, slightly disgusted. Aphrodite shrugged her narrow shoulders.

"I'm only having fun. I have to amuse myself somehow," she giggled.

*Clio*

I looked at my oldest sister for a moment. "Cal, I've been thinking lately."

"Oh no!" she said dramatically, sitting down next to me. "I hate it when you do that."

"No, I'm serious." I looked down at the book in my hands. "Why does father never come to see us?"

Her features softened. Of the nine of us, she saw Father more than any of us, and secretly, I was jealous of that. I didn't have much of a relationship with my mother, even though she would probably be willing for one, and I had only seen my father twice in five years.

"Clio, it has nothing to do with us. Father is an extremely busy man, and Hera," she spat our father's wife's name, "She keeps him occupied with her jealous rages."

"His constant affairs don't help." I muttered, but she heard me and gasped, but she didn't get a chance to say anything because, a figure came out of the woods.

yay, Finally a brother

Artemis

She had caught a hawk and was giving her to her mother. She enjoyed being a teenager, with all the free reign she could get from being Zeus daughter. She had long reddish brown hair, long legs and a thin but muscular figure. She walked with a steady quick pace toward her home, which was not with her father, Zeus and eagerly expected for her brother.
"Hello" A voice sounded behind her as hes walked making her jump and turn around.
"Apollo" She shouted, happy. "God, you scared me, could you be more subtle, next time I won't be careful and I'll stick an arrow through your eye" She said menacingly but he smiled softly and extended his arms to hug her.
"Sis, you know, do you know you're my favorite sister'" He said embracing her tightly. SHe liked that since he was her favorite brother, they were twins and she had spend her fifteen years of life with him.
"Of course, I'm your twin" She said loosening the grasp he had on her. They both smiled and continued walking toward their house.

Terpsichore
"To be honest, I don't have much information about it. But I know its a three days festival in which the goddess of harvest is worshiped and is expected that humans offer her things and from that it is said that they expect her to have mercy on them or something like that" Terpsichore explained to her lovely sister whom she knew was dying to go to the city and see the guy she liked.
"Demeter" Polyphymnia said.
"Yepp, Demeter" Terpsihore replied. "By the way, how's your guy" She asked laughing a harmonious laugh and swirling around moving her hands in a undoubtedly graceful manner. She saw her sister smile shyly and blush from pink to live red as she tried to answer her.

Calliope

"Clio," I said sternly. "You can't say things like that. If any of the major gods heard you..."

"Do you hear yourself?" whispered Clio back harshly. "We shouldn't have to be afraid of our family."

Calliope gave a glance over her shoulder before turning back to her sister. "You're right," admitted Calliope finally. "We should be able to see father more often. But it is not his fault."

Calliope sighed, shifting uncomfortably. "It would be different if you knew him, I mean - " her eyes lit up. "That's it!" she cried, jumping up. Clio looked at her sister, startled.

"What's it?"

"We should go to him!" whispered Calliope excitedly. "Give you a chance to really talk, and - "

"And get sentenced to a life of torment if Hera finds out?"

Calliope scoffed, and pulled her unwilling sister off of the ground. "Don't you see, Clio?" she cried, hugging her sister's shoulders and gesturing into the distance. "It will be our grand adventure! We'll go down in the myths as the two Muses who dared to be brave!"

Calliope turned to stare at her sister's face, excitedly. "What do you say, Clio? Are you ready to make history?"

*Clio*

I stared at Calliope incredulously. "You know we can't go to Olympus. Hera knows we exist and-"

"Hera allows me to visit every once and a while." she said. "Perhaps she'll allow you to visit as well..." Her voice trailed off, telling me exactly what I needed to know.

"I don't want to go up there anyway." I said, turning back to my book.

"Why?" she asked, scooting closer to me.

"I don't like my other family. They scare me, especially Apollo."

She laughed. "You're scared of Apollo? Of all people-"

"He skulks around the Forrest, Cal! I've seen him chasing after multiple nymphs, and he even chases after Erato! I've also seen how cruel he can be. I just don't want to go up there."

She paused for a moment, and then smiled. "Well, if you won't go up to see father, then I'll get Father to come and see you."

Calliope

Clio pulled a pained face. "Cal - Really, you don't ne - "

"Weren't you just complaining about never seeing Father? I have a solution!"

"You aren't going to give this up, will you?"

"No."

Clio sighed. "Fine, then. But try to be sneaky, okay?"

Calliope laughed. "Clio, if we were going to Olympus to see him ourselves, we could be sneaky. But now I am going to ask Zeus to come here. 'Sneaky' isn't an option. He's a king!"

Clio groaned, and planted her face in her book. Calliope swooped down and hugged her sister's shoulder again. "It isn't that bad, Clio. Really. No big deal. He is our father."

Calliope stood up and brushed herself off. "Well, I'm off. See you in a few minutes, Clio."

"You really think it'll only take minutes?"

Calliope hesitated. "Well, I could always have a chat with Apollo while I'm there..." she drawled teasingly.

"Calliope!" cried Clio, furious. Calliope grinned.

"Kidding!" she cried as she ducked out of the clearing.

Polyhymnia

"He is more then good." she finally managed to say
She blushed a bright red as he mentioned him, she did not know his name but it was obviously true love. They had meet a while ago and as their eyes met she could feel it, it was like what the books told her it would be like. Her eyes flickered through the crowds searching for the guy whom she liked as she made her way through the festival pulling along her sister. Nothing would slow her down from seeing him, not even her sisters stopping to look at every beautiful thing.
"Could you please help me find him?" Polyhymnia begged her sister as she gracefully danced along beside her enjoying the atmosphere of the festival
"I will do anything you ask if you help me." she pleaded again
