Yay XD Thanks!
Your = Possession. Your shoes are so sweet!
You're = Omission. You're quite strange...

If you are confused about which to put, simply say in your mind "you are" and see if that fits the sentence. If not, you are looking for your.

Emma,

I'm sorry but on this story book you can only have one character. Please chose between Wes or Abbey.

Can I still join? I'll be a guy to even things out =)

Name: Evan Lane

Age: 19

Abilty: Control over basic elements: fire, water, air, earth. He can only use one at a time and can't change easily on demand.

Apearence: Changes depending on which element he is currently chanelling.
Fire: Bright red hair, and red-orange eyes
Water: Blue tinted black hair, dark blue eyes
Air: White hair, light blue eyes
Earth: Brown hair, green eyes
Universal (stays the same though each element): pretty muscular and has a cute, rather boyish face. Always wear jeans and a t-shirt or hoodie and tennis shoes. Has a metal band he wears around his right wrist.

Personality: Again, changes slightly with each element.
Fire: generally cocky and quick-tempered.
Water: calm and relaxed, but hard to control if angered.
Air: happy and free-spirited.
Earth: strong and withdrawn, doesn't socialize much. Earth holds a lot of power, and it is hard to handle all at once.

Lives with: Father, he hates Evan for his powers and used to beat him until Evan learned to control his powers better. Evan only returned home to collect a few things and will be off on his own later.
*edit* his father blames him for the death of his mother and two sisters.

Other: Up for love. Favors the water element.

*edit* Is currently unable to make use of the air element. Due to a traumatic incident as a child (that was the discovery of his powers). When Evan was seven he was on a plane when the engine broke down and started to crash. The side of the plane was somehow ripped away and him and his family were flung outside. Evan discovered his ability to control air and tried to save his family but only succeded at saving his father. Since then Evan has been unable to bring himself to use to air element.

Lauren- My character already has the power of wind AkA Air. YOu can still have all of the other elements though, it's just that that's sort of taken so.....yeah.

Is it against the rules for more than one person to have the same power? I wasn't aware, but yeah I can do that I suppose.

In the last Tarragon people were asked to have different powers/abilties. Sorry, if I confused anyone. ^^
Hermione, shut your ungodly, lopsided mouth and quit interrupting! 20 points from Gryffindor. You know, for the brightest witch of your age you can sure be a dumba** sometimes. *smiles* 10 points to Dumbledore!

I'll get us started.

Sonnet

Sonnet peeked out the curtains again, sharply drawing them together when her eyes were greeted with multiple flashed from below. The press were still outside, clicking their little camera's ever time she so much as walked past the window.

She threw herself down onto the sofa again, lifting up the 'ads for free,' again and leafing through the pages.

"What you looking at?"

She jumped, crumpling the papers towards her and craning her neck backwards to see Quin, standing over her with his cute grin on his face.

"Uh, nothing," she gulped guiltily.

He raised an eyebrow. "Something you'd like to say?"

"Well," she began. "I kinda broke the microwave. So I'm looking for a second hand one," she babbled.

He rolled his eyes. "What did you do to it this time?"

"Well, I was-" She was cut off by the phone wringing beside her. "Oh. That'll be Ashlyn."

Quin walked around the sofa and sat down as Sonnet fetched the phone. "You two going out or something?"

"There's a fair in town and I wanted to see if she wanted to come with us," Sonnet said, lifting the phone to her ear and pressing the green button.

*this will my last post until YWS is abck again by next week...

Lyka

This is simply but a nuisance...outside the people are playing by the nearby playground, their happy faces covered their faces.

"Sis," i looked back to see Iclisa holding something.

"There is a fair in town. Do you want to come?" she said shyly. The same Iclisa i knew before she transferred to the college.

"Why?" i exclaimed back, "To see your so-called-friends again?"

"Well...maybe that but also that it would be good to have fresh-"

"The only place i get fresh air is by this window!" i bit my lips as i played with my hands.

"Sis..." Iclisa said again and this ime, i stood up.

"Fien...have it your way, Iclisa. But only for a short while okay? An hour and then I'm home!" I said as i ordered Iclisa to shut the door so that i could change.

By the time, i went out, Iclisa pointed to three people lying on the ground. Their eyes were blank like corpses.
"What about them? There not dead." i said wearing a balck and grey t-shirt and a grey skirt.
"What happens if someone came to their house if we're not around and found them like these."
i shrugged.
"Sister, please...you cannot leave them like that. I know that you're frustrated that we went out of the collage with no home to go but please dont leave them liek this."

i straed at my sister who at her gentle presence, made me bit my lip and sighed.
"if you want then fine." i touched the people's shoudler waking them up though they were dazed and almost retarted in image.
"that wills ettle us for now. Happy?"
Iclisa nodded and afterwhich we departed from the house taking with me the keys and some of their valuables to pawn for money.

John McClane: Drop it. It's the police.
Tony: You won't hurt me.
John McClane: Oh, yeah? Why not?
Tony: Because you're a policeman. There are rules for policemen.
John McClane: Yeah. That's what my captain keeps telling me

Schuyler

"Ugh, these stupid people have been outside our house all day!" Maggie, grumbled, whipping the window curtains shut. She turned and glared at Schuyler,"This is all your fault," her finger pointed accusingly,"Why can't you blow them away or something? Use that weird power."

Schuyler sat comfortably splayed sideways on her favorite armchair looking at her step sister with exasperation, ignoring the camera flashes that went off every time the curtains blew open. "If I did do what your suggesting, which is insanely crazy, I'd be sent to some anti power jail." With that Maggie grinned. It was a slow and eerie grin that set the hairs on Schuyler's back on end.

"That would be a pity,"Maggie paused, glancing out the window,"but it's your fault so you should make them leave." There she went again with accusing glances and words that probably should've been hurtful but somehow seemed normal to Schuyler.

Schuylers phone rang and she read the caller I.D: April Mayberry(I hope that's okay). She flipped it open.

"Hello?"

"Hey, Sky. You wanna have some fun?" Schuyler grinned. She knew that tone. April had something planned.

"Yeah..."

"Okay, well get ready, cuz we're gonna go to the fair!"

**I hope this is okay Lizzifer. If it's not just tell me and I'll edit it out.**

Evan Lane

Evan stepped silently through the broken down back door and into the moldy kitchen. "Home sweet home." he muttered as he looked over the place.

No sounds came from the tiny two bedroom house, so Evan walked normally towards his room. He was about to his door when he heard footsteps behind him.

"You." the voice of Evan's father muttered.

Evan turned and waved. "Hey, dad."

"What are you doing back here?" he demanded.

At this moment, Evan noticed the shotgun in his father's hands and the fact that it didn't look like the man had bathed or shaved in four days.

"Now that's really not necesarry." Evan said.

His dad looked him over and muttered something under his breath. Evan read his lips. Water.

"Get out of my house, son." his father growled. "You've done enough damage to this family."

"I'm just getting a few things, then I'll be gone for good." Evan said. "Trust me, I don't want to be here either."

His father raised the shotgun and aimed at Evan. "I can't let you do that, boy." he said.

Evan sighed. At the very second the gun cocked, Evan was changing. His hair color changed in a firey wave from blue-tinted black to bright red, and his eyes resembled burning coals. Evan let a streak of fire across this kitchen and knocked the gun out of his fathers hands. The force sent the man crashing back into a wall.

Evan turned and entered his room. He gathered what little belongings he still wanted and exited again. He stood over his old man as he slung an old backpack stuffed with clothes over his shoulder.

"Have a good life, dad." he muttered. He then turned on his heel and sauntered out of the house, grabbing the keys that hung on a nail bear the door on his way out.

The vehicle the keys belonged to sat, very out of place, in the driveway. A shiny red sports car really does not belong in this sort of neighborhood. Evan just shrugged and got in. He thought for only a moment on where to go before he remembered the fair in a nearby town. Good enough for me. He thought before slamming down on the ecelerator and peeling out of the neighborhood.
