Maria "Mary"

The school was big, much bigger than I had expected. And when I stepped out of the taxi, it seemed even bigger.

As I stood alone on the sidewalk with my things, I contemplated the next year. I hoped the dance program would be good, or at least not terrible. I hoped the other students would like me. I hoped I could handle the school work.

"Well, guess we just have to go in, Bonita." I said to the little kitten cradled in my arm, who meowed in response.

I grabbed my bags and went inside what looked like a housing building. It wasn't hard to find my room, everything was pretty easy to navigate.

I opened the door to my room, and it was empty. Three beds and two dressers were about the only interesting furniture in the room. The beds were dark shades of purple, and the dressers were painted black with silver specks thrown on. They reminded me of the night sky from my town in Spain.

Bonita jumped out of my arms and onto the nearest bed, making herself comfortable.

"Looks like you picked our bed, Nita." I said. I set my bags down and began to unpack.

Jack

"Let me help you, Mr. Davison." someone with a voice of authority told me as my mother unloaded the last of my bags.

"I wouldn't do that." my mother said quietly.

The person didn't listen though. "Someone like yourself might need a little help here, we can get you buddied with a nice student who can help you around."

I smiled towards where the voice was coming. "I'm blind, not paralyzed. So put your help-"

"That's enough, Jack!" my mother scolded.

"Sorry, mom." I apologized.

"Jack really doesn't need any help." I heard my mother telling the annoying person of authority.

"Come on, Shadow." I said to my dog. "Let's go find my room."

"Jack, wait! Your things!" my mother called after me.

"Bring 'em up with you, mom."

And I was finally free, well until she arrived in my room with my things and insisted on unpacking for me.

I readjusted the sunglasses on my face and Shadow led me into a building. "First floor, room ten." I said. It was mostly directed toward Shadow, but he would need some instruction past room number. I hoped someone was around.

Luckily someone was. "Last room at the end of this hall." someone said.

"Thanks."

Soon enough we were at the end of the hall and entering my new room. Someone else was there when we entered though, I could hear them breathing.

"Hey," I said. "I'm Jack."

YAYZ!

Violet Polter~~

The cab pulled up the spacious school, the front was done in a dark red brick color and was outlined with a white aura. I smiled, this would be fun this year. I pushed the door open and smiled at the fact that I was FREE from that evil witch back in France. I hated her but that was the last thing on my mind. All the papers were in a neat folder, stacked to meet even the worst OCD's needs. My vans patted against the pavement as I walked into the large double doors that seemed to tower, and was soon quite lost. I eventually even made it to a student parking lot of sorts, someone else was getting out of thier own car.

"Hey!" I Yelled across, my airy french tinted american accent floated throughout the air. I broke out into a jog to the person, "Can you help me like the nice person you are?" My smile was wide.

Laurel Gracie Hendricks "Gracie";

Laurel stared up at the large school before her, mouth agape while she clutched Boomer's tank closer to her chest. Brennan grabbed their bags out of the back of the taxi, swinging his dark hair out of his ice blue eyes as he walked back over to Laurel, who took her large suitcase, balancing Boomer's tank in one arm. "You got it?" Brennan questioned rather humorously when Laurel grabbed her messenger bag strap in her mouth, dropping it around her neck.

"Yup!" She smiled cheekily, shaking her hair to move some of the pink locks in her eyes. Instead of pink, however, blonde fell across her face, making her pout. "I hate mom's make over though. I liked my pink hair." She whined, starting down the sidewalk next to her brother, who chuckled and shook his head, his ferret, Dweeb, crawling out of the hood on his jacket and perching on his shoulder.

"Mom made you change it for reason. You think I wanted to start school looking like some church goer?" Laurel snorted, noticing her brother's khaki pants and button down that he had hidden under his Jack Skellington jacket. "I know one thing, the second I get into my room and get settled in, I'm changing." Laurel nodded in agreement, looking down at her pleated skirt and button down that matched her brother's, only short sleeved. They stopped before a dorm and Laurel took a deep breath.

"Well joy. Here we are." She growled sarcastically, causing Brennan to chuckle. She groaned and unlocked her door, stepping into the room. "Well this is quaint." She smirked over at her brother, who rolled his eyes. Laurel did a double take over the room, noticing the girl who was unpacking, and the kitten on the girl's bed. Laurel shrugged back at her brother before waving goodbye and walked further into the room, placing Boomer's tank on one of the two dressers. The girl, hearing this, jumped, eyes wide. Laurel dropped her messenger and camera bag on her bed, lifting her two suitcases up after wards.

"Hello," the girl said quietly, still staring between Laurel and the medium sized tank.

"Hey, I'm Laurel," Laurel smiled kindly, sticking her hand out.

"Maria," the girl, Maria replied, a hint of timidness in her voice, "but you can call me Mary." Laurel nodded, following her gaze to Boomer's tank.

"Don't worry about him," Laurel offered, smiling softly. "He's very docile. Cute kitten by the way." Laurel hadn't noticed just how scared this girl looked.

*nothing for Brennan as of yet. He still needs a roommate*

Can violet be Mykolas' roomate...if not, its okay. Can anyone be his roomate

Mykolas

the school was fairly big though i wondered to the number of hidden places, a student can go hide.
i went out of the car i rented and heard someone calling me.

i looked abck and saw agirl who was partly confuse.
"Hey, can you help me? i can't find the reception..."
i stared at her for a moment. From the she looks, i was sure she was like the otehrs but i felt sorry not to help you.

"Tikrai..." i replied and began walking to the building.
After a few moments of wandering around, i finally found the receptionist. I breathed a sigh becasue i too do not know where it was. I was lucky sort of.
"Thank you..." she held the key to her room., "My name is Violet."
"Mano Vardas yra Mykolas." i replied but when i looked at her, she could not understand a single word.

"I men...mi nam s Mykolas," i repeated slowly and she nodded and left. I sighed and pondered not to say my antive language. I am in AMerica anyway. I took up my key and walked to my room. Before i could open, i knock just in case and the door opened and i saw my roomate.

ICLISA

I nodded before i let you in. She looked at the room for a moment before she pointed to an empoty bed.
"There's one more person in here, right?"
"Da." i said firmly before i pointed to the middle bed.
"Jas am ovdje" i said but the girl did not understand. Surprise, i repeated, "Tat s y bed."
"it s a peasure to met u." i said offering her my hand., "my nam is Iclisa."

"My name is Jacqueline but you can call me Jackie." she said as i shook her hands tight. I nodded before i started to gte my stuff from my three luggages. For a moment, i saw the girl looking at me.

"You got a lot of uniforms there." she said and i tried to smile before i unpack my things unto the bed.

***Can Brennan be our roomamte****
Wow. That girl looked like if she was in the army. She was tall and her accent was completely different. She was interesting looking though.
"Where are you from" I asked as I unpacked my things.

"Bosnia" she answered. She was far away from home but she seemed tough enough to bear it.

"So that's the reason of your accent" I said smiling at her.

"Yes"
She hardly nodded and forced a little smile as she continued unpacking. I stared at her for a moment but she didn't seem to notice me looking at her. She was busy arranging her uniforms and military things that were almost alien to me. I lowered my gaze and continued unpacking.

"Got early here?" i asked again, a little shyly this time.
She shook her head softly. I smiled at her and got back to my business.

"I can help you with your English" I was looking at my diary when I said that. When I lift up my gaze I saw she was smiling. I smiled back but let out a little laughter. Apparently, that was going to be our language until she could speak fluid English.

yeah totally! Violet can be Mykolas's roomie!

Violet~~

I padded behind the tall guy, his hair was blond and his accent didn't say he was american himself.

"I'm Violet b t dubs,"tting the actual key into my pocket, the school must be old to still be using keys.
And when the guy said his name i was confused, no fabergasted. I had never heard anything of the sort.

"Where are you rooming My-ko-las?" I rang out the syllables in his name. He looked at me suprised, I guessed because I didn't ask where he was from.

"Building 46, room 467," He read off of the chain the key was on.

"Liar," I replied and his eyes widened, "Liar."

He looked confused, ""I'm in that room" I finally responded.

We wandered to the building in silence but as soon as the door opened I yelled into the house.

"Anyone home?!" I rang out with a chip cheerio smile.

Kyleigh Weiss

*Still room-mateless. Is it all right for a boy and a girl to room? If so, I'd like Brennan.*

"Wonderful," I said sarcassticly as my dad pulled up to the giant, brick school building. I already do not like this place: the cold, the people, the normality. Longing to return back to the sunny city of Los Angelos, I sighed.

"It won't be as bad as you think, Kyleigh." My dad said, beckoning me to get out of his Porsche.

I looked outside of my window and peered at the students who were also beginning their school year here.

"These people all look disgusting." I said, definitely not approving of the way any of them dressed or wore their hair.

"...Kyleigh," My dad said while narrowing his brown eyes, aggrevated at me saying such a comment.

"Alright." I said, gathering up my luggage to bring inside of the building I already loath.

Opening up the door to the car, I nearly fell.

"Wonderful again," I said.

All the weight of my things made the suitecases difficult to navigate around. If only some of these kids here were nice enough to help me out, but it was to no surprise that no one would want to have me at their side, making them look ten times worse than they already do.

My blonde curls swayed in the wind, blinding my eyes and view. If my dad had not drove away already, I would definitely jump back into the car and refuse to get back out, but no, I am trapped here.

Desmond~~

I stepped out of the taxi and whistled, tapping my hip at the same time. Roland hopped out of the taxi's back seat, his tongue lolling out of his mouth. I smiled at him and rubbed his hene with an pad.

There was a click and the trunk popped open. I walked over and grabbed the large backpack that housed all of my clothes and my computer, and then my guitar case that was my only other belonging.

I paid the cab and then started walking towards the large brick building that I thought was reception. I stepped inside and saw a woman sitting at a table with a stack of papers in front of her. I walkeed over.

"My name is Desmond Miles. I need a room key."

She flipped through her papers before finally handing me a little card and key.

"The card is for use in the grocery store since you qualified for free lunch, but you did not want to eat in the caffeteria."

I ignored her and walked out into the parking lot. I scanned the buildings surrounding the parking lot until I found the one that looked like the one printed on my key.

Five minutes later I stepped into my room. There was a living room that was a fair size. probably big enough for a couch and a little table. A kitchen stood adjascent to the living room with a small bar seperating them. There was a door for a bathroom and then three more doors that I assumed lead into the bedrooms. I chose one with an open door and stepped in. I dropped my stuff on the bed, it wasnt even enough to unpack, and took out my guitar. I sat on my bed and started playing. Not really a song, more just making up a little ditty using B minor, F minoor and E. The music started to flow through me and I closed my eyes, letting it wash over me and control me. Then the door creaked and I looked up. A girl stood in the door, giving me a strange look.

I smiled awkwardly. I thought I was teh first one there. "I'm Desmond."

"Violet."

Maria "Mary"

"Thanks," I scooped Bonita up into my arms. "H-he wont h-hurt her will he?"

Gracie smiled as if nothing was wrong at all with the creature in the tank on her dresser. "Not at all."

I nodded, but didn't believe it. "I have to g-go..." I mumbled and ran out of the room with Bonita still in my arms. I couldn't believe this. People shouldn't be allowed to have pets like that in this school.

And worse yet, my stuttering was back. I thought I had gotten over that completely.

When I felt I was a safe distance away from my roommate and the creature with her I stopped and looked around. I was in some sort of hallway, far from mine. After a while I noticed I was twirling my skirt around. It was a light purple and knee length, something I would wear to a dance class. Bonita was snuggled into the beige wraparound sweater I wore.

I did a full spin around on one foot and landed gracefully. My eyes fell on a guy with a camera around his neck watching me. He had a strange look on his face as he stared at me.

"H-hello." I said, silently cursing myself for stuttering again.

*that's Ed by the way.*

Jack is still without roommates in case anyone needs one.

Jonathan

Jonathan sighed a little as he opened his door. There was no telling who his roommate would be. Hopefully someone freindly and not the kind that rolled their eyes at you and treated you as if you were dirt beneath their feet.

He stepped inside. It was nice here. Still, he couldn't get used to the idea that he was here. At a school. Jonathan had never been to anything except public school, which he hardly ever attented. Hos foster parents made him come here. Great.

There was a knock and another guy came in with a camera around his neck. A photographer maybe, he asked himself.

"Hey," he grinned at the guy. He had a slight hispanic accent, but it was hardly noticable.

"Hi," he replied giving a timid smile himself.

Avaline Delancy

Note: I did a name change

Seconds passed. The minute hand neared the hour, coming closer and closer, and then….
The car stopped. Remaining in his seat, my driver rolled down the window that separated us and said: “Lady Avaline, we have arrived.” The white fluff called a mustache moving as he spoke.
The second he announced our arrival, the side door swung wide open. I originally thought it was the tint of the window that made the outside world only appear dark. It actually was. Only the pale glow from within the limo shone light on the woman’s face. She wore rimless glasses which glinted silver. With a broad smile she greeted me.
“Welcome to the boarding school, Ms. Avalynn.”
My eyes widened and I frowned. “It’s pronounced Ah-VA-LINE.” I tried to hold in the venom, but it couldn’t help but seep through my teeth.
The woman flinched, but immediately brushed it off. “I apologize, Ms. Avaline. However, may I ask you why you arrive this late of the hour.”
Before I could answer, my driver, Mr. Angelo, answered for me. “Lady Avaline is known to be awake at this hour back in France. Also, we’d prefer to keep her parents’ status our little secret.” He slid out of the car and appeared beside the woman. “Ms. Avaline’s parents are paying well for you to treat their only little girl well. We shall speak of security later on. Until then, bring about a few butlers to carry Lady Avaline’s baggage and show her to her dorm.”
“Dorm?” I wrinkled my nose as I stepped out of the limo. I grabbed hold of the door and shut it. This time, both of them flinched.
Brushing off their shocked expressions I strode forward, my arms folded across my chest and a frown plastered across my face. For a second, I thought about my past, about all of my so-called “friends” and how they treated me like dirt, about how they faked friendship to gain my trust, and to gain my benefits.
Liars. I thought. Those disloyal, two-faced, nasty little girls. And worst of all, me. How could I have been foolish enough to trust them. I thought about my mother, arguing with numerous school boards and parents for mistreating me, and to get the best for me. She thought entering me in modeling and pageants would help me befriend those with similar interests or situations. I didn’t believe it would be possible. I was right. All of those girls are in the game for themselves, no one else. All superficial. All heartless. All fools. One day their plastic beauty would melt away, and all they’d be left with is the guilt and the lies.
Before I could be sucked into their world of deception and stupidity, I was pulled out of school because too many girls were vandalizing my home, stealing my belongings, and bullying me. Only one boy stood up for me, but he was eventually taken out of school for doing so.
For three years, I have been home schooled, but on my fourteenth birthday, that all came to an end. My mother set her mind on me being a social being and sent me to this boarding school. And now I’m here.
“Mickey, come here boy.” I commanded with a sharp whistle.
Instantly, a snow white Akita leapt out of the limousine window and found its way to my side.
“Good boy,” I whispered under my breath.
Mickey didn’t have a leash like other dogs, he only had a silver collar with his name and address on it. I wanted Mickey to feel free, unbound from any sort of chain or cage. And by trusting him whole-heartedly, he became my only loyal companion.
“So are we going to that dorm or what?” With that, I turned on my heel and headed into the night.

*I totally don't think of Maria every time I read Lauren's post*

Melanie
I had driven myself to school, my windows fully open, the wind caressing my cheeks and twisting my hair, which I believed would look frightening as soon as I'd walk out of the car. I crossed the school gates, and went to the reception before taking my luggage. Why should I have to carry them around, right? The woman said I wa sin room 302, in the third building, and so I followed the signs. I was going to have roommates. Was this co-ed? My parents wouldn't know, since they wanted to just drop me off. I found the room and opened the door with my key.
"I'm Bethany," I heard someone say. "But you can just call me Beth. Nice to meet you, roommate." I searched for the voice and found a girl (thankfully not a guy). I only noticed I was looking at her, practically starting after maybe a couple of seconds.
"Oh, sorry," I walked over to her, smiling. "I'm Melanie, but you can call me Mel. Nice to meet you, Bethany. Might if I take the left room? I've see you have already taken that one."
"Sure." She seemed a bit surprised, but I carried my luggage into my room. And then I heard the door open.
Piglet: How do you spell love?
Pooh: You don't spell it. You feel it.

Guitair flitted throughout the air. Mykolas went off and chose his room and my trunk shipped earlier was already in the room. I walked into the room where the guitair flitted.

The boy sat on the bed, and then eventually looked up.

"I'm Desmond," The boy offered.

"Violet," I replied.

A dog barked and I heard Robert squeek back.

"What was that?!"

"ROBERT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" I yelled jumping over things to get to my precious pet.
