Melanie
"Awww, a bunny! He's so cute!" I said to Beth. He was really adorable.
Then someone knocked on the door and opened it.
It was a guy, a fiiiiiine looking guy, but still a guy, carrying a lot of bags. It can't be.
"Are you the welcoming comity?" I asked, hopeful. If my parents found out I was gonna live with a guy, they would make me either change rooms or schools, and I don't want to be the freak that her parents don't want to see with guys. That pretty much kills my idea of finding a boyfriend...
"No. I'm your new roommate." He walked past by us, and dumped his bags on the available room.
"Huh, well then," I tried to put my composure back together, "I'm Mel." I smiled friendly, and laid my hand for him to shake. He looked like a good guy. Not a pervert, I hoped' since there was only one bathroom.
Piglet: How do you spell love?
Pooh: You don't spell it. You feel it.

Bethany

"And I'm Bethany," I replied as he looked me over, obviously shocked at my bizarre appearance. "But, please call me Beth."

"Uh, nice to meet you both, I suppose.I'm David, " he said, extending his hand first to Mel and than to Beth.

Bethany unpacked quickly. Mostly because she was already halfway done before David came in here.

"Listen guys, I've got a...thing to do," she said, running a hand through her hair. "Have fun with whatever you were doing."

Beth left and headed towards Shane's dorm. He wasn't that far from her own. She knocked lightly and waited for his reply.

Jonathan

"Nothing personal, or anything," he sighed. "I just don't like to be called John."

Kyleigh nodded, understanding and maybe a little curious. Still, Jonathan wasn't interested in giving away any of his secrets. No one was about to hear about his past. He hated the pity he got for it anyway.

"Well, I'm going to unpack, I suppose," he told Ed and Kyleigh both as he headed towards his room. At least his bed was comfortable. More comfortable than most he had slept in.

It didn't take him long to unpack his few belongings. After all, his foster families weren't the rich type who could by him loads of stuff.

"I'm going to go look around the campus. Anyone care to join me?" He asked the others.

Shane

I wrapped the last of my ounces in their sandwich bread holders and placed them in the freezer. I would sell those to another business tomorrow. After I finally turned the TV on I heard a knock and sighed. I reluctantly got up and opened the door partly.

"Who is it?" I asked

"It's Beth," she said and I let her in.

"Ah, eager to start?" I asked.

"You could say that," Beth said.

"Well I'll help you out," I said and took a messenger bag out of the closet.

"What's this?" Beth asked.

"Inside is all you need. There is a map of the campus with your areas, a three pounds of weed, one pound of each strain, the bags are sealed inside. A chart with the prices, and remember a first purchase gets a free sample of the strain or strains they did not get. There is a schedule for your time to help the plants and what to do, along with a key to the room. A disposable cell phone for you, only accept calls do not call out with it, in two weeks destroy it and I'll give you a new one. Finally there is an organizer to store other orders and bands to put in the cash." with a breath I finished and she nodded.

There was another knock. "Ah that must be the other dealer," I said and opened the door for David.

"Beth?" David said as he looked in.

"David?" Beth said at the same time.

"You know each other?" I asked.

"We are roommates," Beth answered.

"Ah. Well that will make things so much easier. I handed David his own bag and said what was in it.

"You start tomorrow and your pay is on Friday, you get a commission for each ounce you sell, so sell big sell hard!" I encouraged and they left.

Mary

"N-No, I'm f-fine with snakes." I muttered. Stupid stuttering!

Laurel came into my room and fell onto my bed. "You are a terrible liar."

I sighed, it was no use. "Yes, I am afraid of snakes." I admitted.

Laurel shrugged. "No big, I'll just make sure the big guy stays in his tank. Or at least when you're around."

I smiled at her. "Thanks so much." I said. I was almost immedeatly relaxed, and stutter free.

"So where are you from, Mary? You've got an accent." Laurel stated.

"Spain, I'm part of a foreign exchange program." I explained. "Foreign exchange meaning my parents paid to have me shipped over here for school the past three years. I've been bouncing around the country trying to find a place I like."

Laurel nodded, but she didn't give away anything she was thinking. Any past roommates I had were so easy to read, or shy. This would be interesting.

"Where are you from?"

I smiled at Violet and plopped down on my bed, "We just talked about guitar, and he said he wanted to hear me play, possibly at an event. He didn't say what but now I assume he means his wedding. Where'd you learn to Parkour?"

Bethany

Beth felt a little weird knowing David was a seller as well. Melanie had no idea and wouldn't be a little suspicious for both of us to be gone so much? She sighed and shook her head it didn't matter.

"Well, I don't know about you, but I'm not going to the room. The sooner I start the better," she told him. "So I guess I'll see you around."

Bethany walked off to one of the places that Shane had told her about. Surely there had to be a few people roaming around there.

But of course, there was no one. Beth eyed the weed in her bag with a look of disdain. She would never smoke it, that's for sure, but she did need the money and Shane seemed like he was one of the only people she could tolerate.

Then, as if on cue, a wide-eyed skinny girl walked up to her. "Hey," she whispered. Beth rolled her eyes.

"How much?" She asked.

"Wh-What?" She asked. Beth laughed a little.

"Look, I'm not out here playing around. How much are you getting so we don't get caught standing around. Do it quickly or one day you'll get caught, got it?" Beth questioned. She guessed that it was a good thing she was never very pateint.

"Right," she said a little embaressed. "Give me a dime bag for now."

Bethany nodded and they exchanged quickly. Beth turned and walked off. She either needed a new position or she needed to go back up to the dorm. It wasn't good to stand in the same spot the whole time.

The shape made its way closer toward me, slowly becoming the figure of a young girl. She beared long, chocolate brown hair and eyes green as emeralds. Wearing skinny jeans and a sweater zipped up midway, she looked like an average student. Just what I needed. To my surprise, she plopped down beside me on the bench.
“Who are you?” I blurted out, keeping myself from cringing back at my rudeness.
That’s no way to make a friend. I scolded myself.
“Oh, I’m Jacqueline Conway, but you can call me Jackie.” She answered with a wide grin.
“Avaline Delancy,” I replied, smiling a bit, and stretching out my hand. Keeping a good posture and poise, I gave her a grip as firm as I could in attempt to allow my desire for a loyal friend flow through our handshake.
The handshake lasted for a few moments as we stared back at each other.
She’s not letting go? I glanced down at her hand.
And when I looked back up, I realized why. She was examining me, and furthermore, waiting for something. Once she realized I was looking at her with a confused expression, she blushed and removed her hand.
“Sorry,” she laughed weakly. “I know this might sound stupid, but you seem interesting. I’m getting a good vibe from you, kind of déjà vu, and partially like we might have similar hobbies or something. Maybe something in common.”
“Oh,” I nodded back at her, “I guess we’ll just have to find out. I’m not really good at introducing myself, so maybe you’d like to start?”
“Well, I’m from New York for starters. I’m going to be in tenth grade this year, I’m fifteen…”
“Tenth grade?” I repeated in shock. “So will I.”
“Awesome” She chuckled a bit, “My dorm is also in building four, how about you?”
I stared back at her in wide-eyed horror, “That’s really strange,” I said, “In a cool way of course.”
Cool? They say that here, don’t they?
“I’m going to try a little experiment. I’m going to name a few things, and you tell me what you think of them. Sound good?”
She nodded her head.
“Music, writing, fashion, dance, good grades?”
With a twinkle in her eye she said, “Love music. I play guitar and I mostly like rock. I love to write, I’ll be in journalism here and I might join the writing club. Dance is one of my hobbies, like exercising. And when it comes to school, it’s more of an obsession for good grades.”
“Wow,” I blinked a few times. “We do have a lot in common. I play violin, have been playing since I was four or so. I prefer classical music, but am interested in rock, pop, and those other genres. I’m not sure about what type of dancing you perform, but I practice ballet, and exercising is a hobby also. That was a good guess on the journalism thing,” I threw my head back laughing. “ I want to be a head writer or whatever term they use here. Maybe I’ll join that writing club with you. And I enjoy learning new things and high grades. My mother won’t let me get anything below an A and I have to get classes honor level or above unless I want to get scolded by my father. I like the challenge though.”
“We better get all of the same classes, I’ve never met someone I’ve had so much in common with. Plus, you’re really cool.”
I rolled my eyes, “Sure, sure. I’m a bit rude on the outside, though. Blunt. People usually judge by the surface, though.”
“Mmm, well, that’s a bit superficial. I noticed you’re a bit,” She paused for a second, “classy on the outside, but like I said, that vibe I got from you was good. You have a cool eye color, by the way.”
“Thanks, so do you.”
“They’re contacts,” she said, stabbing a finger in her eye to remove the contact. “I have hazel eyes, but thanks anyway.”
My face reddened. How embarrassing. “Um, do you by any chance have a,” I hesitated for the right word. “roomie?”
She chuckled. Maybe it was the combination of the phrase and my French accent. Sometimes my French blood couldn’t help but surface.
“You’re French? That’s cool. Would’ve have guessed by your accent earlier. And yeah, I do have a roomie. Iclisa. We have room for one more, though, if you want.”
With a weak smile, I replied, “Maybe, I’d really like to. I have a…dorm, but it’s all to myself and a bit lonely at times. If you guys want, you can dorm with me if your dorm is too small.” I scratched my head. “It has quite a bit of room. It’s only if you want to, though.”
I knew it was a big risk showing them my room, giving them hints about my family and my old life, but I felt I could trust Jackie. Besides, it was only the room that was fancy. I dressed pretty normal. Stylish, but nothing over the top. Maybe I’d just tell them that the room was what Ms. Adams gave me and hope they wouldn’t ask questions.

"Really" It was kind of her to offer us her room.
"Yeah, I guess" She said witha wide smile. She looked cute, like French cute.
"Oh and if you want you can come tomy room anytime you want. I might hace to tell Iclisa first, though"
I laughed and she laughd too. It was nice laughing with someone and Ava line was definetely a good person to be laughuing with. I enjoyed the moment.
"And something else..." I told her as I laughed "we should take dancing lessons together, because I totally love ballet"
She gasped and then answered. "Oh my God. This is weird, isn't it? We have tons of things in common"
I stared at her happy expression, eximining her. It looked like she was enjoying the moment too.
"We are going to be great friends" i told her quietly. "You know? YOu are the first person that I talk to in a first day of school."
"Really" She asked
"Yeah, I'm usually pretty shy" I admitted.
"It's getting late, you know" She said getting up from her sit.
I got up too. we stood in our places for a moment, not sure of what to do.
"Wanna come with me. YOu know walk together to our rooms. I'll show mine" I finally dsaid.
She looked at me with a frriendly expressions.I smiled back at that expression.
"Sure" she said smiling too.
"I like your accent"

She burst out laughing and I did too. We laughed so hard that my diaphragm started to hurt. We walked to our rooms, luaghing and talking. Igot to my room first obviously since I lived in the second floor. I watched her take the elevator and waved bye to her. Now I knew someone besides my roommate, someone I really liked to be my friend.

Did great!

David

I went back to the room and told Mel I was tired after my plane ride here and went to my room. When I got there I took out some of the pot, and put money in the bag for it then jumped out my window. My parents had tried to help me recover from problems by giving me lessons in things. Parkour was one of them. As soon as I was down I went over to the skate park, one of my areas. Lucky I found a few kids there.

Skating down I went into the tunnel and waited. "Wheels hit the ground and I looked over to see three kids standing at the entrance. "So you selling'?" One asked.

I rolled my eyes. "Yeah, but don't just shout it like that. How much?"

"Two ounces," the same kid said and I pulled open my bag.

"What kinds?" I asked. "They're all good, just take your pick."

A second of them walked over and pointed at two random bags. I took them out and gave them the free sample of the third. They gave me the cash and I nodded. They skated off. I sold another ounce and then realized I got all of the people there.

So I didn't look to suspicious I skated around a bit then headed back to my room. Once I was at the door I realized I couldn’t just walk in the front door after going to my room to sleep. I ran down the hall and knocked on the first door.

"Yeah?" Said a guy with short black hair.

"Hey the names David, Um can I use your window?" I asked.

"Um sure," he said and I jumped out it. "Another parkourer?" I heard him say and before I could respond I had already started jumping to my window. But of course the fucking thing was locked so I was stuck there. Now what was I supposed to do?

I sighed and jumped the ledge to the kitchen area. I looked in side and lucky Mel wasn't there. I tried it but it was locked. And my legs were starting to fall asleep in deposition I was crouched in. And then a miracle happened, Beth walked in the door. I banged on the window as hard as I could and Beth went wide eyed when she saw me. She ran over and opened it.

"How did you get our there?" She asked.,

"Oh I came here so Mel wouldn't be wondering why we were both gone for so long, said I went to sleep, jumped out my window. Then I sold, came back, jumped through our neighbors window, and jumped from there to my room, my window was locked, so I jumped here, and you came and let me in," I explained/ranted to her.

"How much did you sell?" she asked.

"Three ounces. Skaters love to smoke and skate, makes it feel like you float sometimes."

I heard a door open and Beth motioned for me to hide so Mel wouldn't see. She hadn't moved the bug screen yet. I grabbed the window sill and let my legs hang down. I hung just above the window below me and waited for Mel to leave back.

"Beth who are you talking too?" Mel asked.

"Oh my dad," she lied. "I had him on speaker phone. Sorry."

"Oh. Well where were you?" Mel asked. Why was this girl so nosey?

"I went to see if I could find my classrooms for tomorrow. This place is big and I didn't want to get lost," Beth said. She was a pretty good liar.

"Oh well want to watch some TV, I’ve been so bored and David is dead asleep."

"Actually I'm going to go to my room and organize my stuff,” Beth said and started on her way.

"Oh let me help. Let me just change out of these clothes," Mel ran ahead into her room and Beth ran to her own. I climbed back up and jumped over to Beth's room. She had a hard time opening the window, it was like crazy glued onto the wall, and when I finally got in Mel was knocking to come in.

"Get under the bed," Beth hissed. And I dove under.

Violet~~

I smiled wide, May's happiness seemed contagious apparently. I sat next to him on the bed and leaned against the wall laughing as I did.

"Where did you learn to parkour?" He cocked an eyebrow.

"Ima frenchie,' I replied laughing, not knowing why I was laughing.

"France? How did you get here?" He motioned to the general area.

"A friend of mine graduated last year, said it was a 'haven' of sorts." I didn't know where my friend had gotten that idea or it had to be true. "My grandmother flipped when she found out I was jumping off 8 story buildings ya know, but I did it anyway."

I was now full out laughing while I talked, there was a strange scent in the air, coming through the open window a sweet one that had a sour punch. I had to get out of here before I spilled my life, but couldn't end the convo just yet.

"Are you ok?" Desmond asked, smelling the air.

"Oh god," He whispered pulling down the window quickly.

"I need to leave, I'm sorry." I ran across the room to my own, tripped over the red panda and fell on my face.

"BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAA," I laughed harder as a strange guy passed by not noticing me rolling on the ground.

She ran out and I was once again left sitting on my bed. A knock came from the door one more time so I opened it and let a guy in, who promptly jumped out the window.

I made a comment about parkourers and then went back into my room and closed the door. I laid down on the bed and Roland jumped on my face and lay there I would normally have told him to more, but I didn't really care at the moment.

"So, uh, did you want anything to drink?" she asked, gesturing towards the door. They needed to get out so David could get back to his room.

"I'm fine...did you need something, though?" Melanie asked.

"Yeah, I'm parched," she sighed. David would know that this was his cue to get out.

"Wait...is that a shoe under your bed?" She asked. Mel walked over and held up the cover, exposed David. She yelped and stumbled back, alarmed.

"What...What the hell?" She asked. Bethany clapped a hand to her forehead. Great. Melaine was giving him the 'You're such a pervert!' look.

"What's going on?" Mel asked, angrily, hands on her hips.

I'm so confuse! I'm so confuse!

what on earth has happened!! Can anyone please tell me what has happened recently...my internet broke down and when it was fixed, i was heavily delayed!

Okay...i'll start with Iclisa meeting with someone but can anyone please talk to either of them...i do not want to leave this storybook!

ICLISA

I stared at the ceiling for a few moments looking at the red ceiling above me. My roomate has left and i never knew anyone aside from her. Oh well, i thought. I felt worse than this. I changed my clothes quickly to a German uniform, my father told me was used on the war.

i took a quick walk around the dorms until i smelled a weird smell somewhere on the rooms. I followed my nose and opened the door to find a room surrounded by plants. Three people was in a room. They looked at me with a surpirse look on their face.

I quickly looked at the floor and saw a number of pots on the floor.
"Wat is that!" i ordered as i tried to went in.
The boy before me quickly close the door but i stopped the door with my foot.
"I deman an anwer!" i ordered again but the boy gazed at me with a look of both surprise and anger. He tried to close the door but i opened it quickly and held him by the collar!
"I deman an anwer! Ive me 50 pus-ups f u don anwer!" i yelled back but he smiled.

"Do you want pot?" the girl behind me asked.
"Pot?" i asked.
she smiled before she showed me the plant. i noticed it for a moment before my mind rang and recalled a plant my adopted fatehr showed me that i must avoid. I walked hurriedly towards her nad grab her by the collar.
"Tis s dugs!"
"speak english properly." she mocked me before i pushed her to the floor and walked out of the door.
"i wil rember tis! i wil deman an anwer! U se!" i slammed the door and continued with my walk around the school putting to what i saw at the front of my mind. AS i checked the rest of the rooms, i heard another sound. From my experience of the previous room, i hesistantly walked towards it.

MYKOLAS

Isolation. Loneliness...
i walked around the floor lookinga round fro anyone. From what i recalled from the girl, she maybe took me no better than anyone. I am different. Maybe that is why.
I limped around the school feeling the walls starting to enclosed against me.

As i went back to my room, i saw Violet by the floor. Her face was red and a streak of blood came out but above all she was laughing.
"Ned hep?" i asked of her but she quickly laughed. I pulled her up and led her back to the room. SHe held her stomach tight and felt that it would burst as she sat by the bed.
"Wat al tis ruckus!!" a strange girl with a eastern european accent appeared and checked ehr out.
"se cat stop lauping." i mentioned before she held one fist by her hand and gave a grin. I widened my eye to that.
"Wat r u doin." i exclaimed.
" dot wory!" she said as sheclosed Violet's mouth and strucked her by the belly. It was not a hard punch but Violet soon collapsed to the bed breathing hard and laughing partly. From the outside of my room, two boys came and inspected.
"What ahd happened?" one of them said whom i partly recognized.
"notin," the new girl smiled, "i did wat i mus do to stop er rom lauping."
i said nothing than this shocked from what i'd seen. Seriously, this was one tough chick. I do not want to get into a fight with her. AS the boys began asking more question and checking if Violet is alright. i looked outside by the window and saw a boy walking out to the woods.

interestingly, i wondered if i have time to go there as well. If this drama soon eases away.
John McClane: Drop it. It's the police.
Tony: You won't hurt me.
John McClane: Oh, yeah? Why not?
Tony: Because you're a policeman. There are rules for policemen.
John McClane: Yeah. That's what my captain keeps telling me

Melanie

I raised n eyebrow. "If you guys wanted to be messing around, you could just have told me." This was more to Beth, since I thought she could be my friend, and I liked her. "I looked down at David, who was still under the bed, "If you let yourself into her room without her permission, and you try to pull one of that one me, I'll beat the crap outta you. Also, lies won't help, since apparently they always come up."
I walked out of Beth's room and into the hallway. My roommates are freaks! I bumped into some guy. "Sorry," I mumbled.

It had a perfectly round door like a porthole, painted green, with a shiny yellow brass knob in the exact middle. The door opened on to a tube-shaped hall like a tunnel: a very comfortable tunnel without smoke, with panelled walls, and floors tiled and carpeted, provided with polished chairs, and lots and lots of pegs for hats and coats—the hobbit was fond of visitors. The tunnel wound on and on, going fairly but not quite straight into the side of the hill —The Hill, as all the people for many miles round called it—and many little round doors opened out of it, first on one side and then on another.
