Jack

Granger had no idea about any other roommates, but I supposed we would get another one soon enough. I decided to take a little walk through the dorms to waste some time.

As I was walking, someone bumped into me. "Sorry," a femanine voice mumbled.

I smiled. "Nah, entirely my fault." It honestly was, in an attempt to prove my ability to handle anything I was lately wandering off without Shadow or my cane.

"No, I wasn't looking where I was going." she said.

I couldn't help but laugh. "Well, I can't even see where I'm going."

Kyleigh Weiss;

"Sure," I said.

The three of us headed out to wonder about the campus. Heaps of kids around our age were disspursted throughout the hallways, and I nearly bumbed into one.

"Sorry," I told him.

"Nah, it's all right." the guy replied. "Oh- I'm Jack, by the way." he said, pulling out his hand to shake mine in an introduction.

"Kyleigh," I said, turning my head in their direction both Ed and Johnathan replied their names to Jack.

Johnathan looked a bit suspiscious of Jack, maybe he have seen a lot of guys like him back at home, and doesn't like to be troubled by them.
House: People interest me. Conversations don't.
Foreman: Maybe because conversations go both ways.

**Um, Fox, Beth and David were in their dorm. Shane was in his with the pot. I think maybe you got a bit confused. ): I'm not exactly sure how to make that post work since both Beth and David were with Mel.**

Bethany

Beth gave a gusty sigh and turned on David.

"Gee, thanks, David," she said, sarcastically. "In a few hours you've managed to make yourself look like a pervert and made me look like a slut to our new roommate. All in a days work, though, right?"

"What do you want me to say? Sorry?" He asked angrily.

"What do you think I wanted you to say?" She shouted incredulously. "Sorry's not going to fix anything. I want you to tell me you'll be more careful next time. Look, I'm not trying to be rude or anything, but I'm not trying to get caught. Next time Mel might find out what we're really doing and I'm not too sure that would be a good idea."

Bethany ran her finger through her hair. She liked Mel. She seemed pretty nice and the whole situation just seemed so screwed up.

"Whatever," he replied. "I'll be more careful next time, alright. Don't freak out."

Beth couldn't help but chuckle. "You call that freaking out? Let's just hope that you, or no one else fo that matter, really doesn't see me freaking out."

"Well, I'm going out. Maybe I can appologize to Mel. Make up a story or something," Beth replied, mostly to herself. "See ya later, I suppose."

**I'll post for Jonathan in a bit.**

I like your accent.” She said with a genuine smile. I thought about how in the past other girls complimented me just to butter me up. Back then, I had a feeling that they were lying through their teeth, but though I knew, I wanted to believe what they said. With Jackie, I didn’t have to pretend. I hoped everyone else at the boarding school was this way.
Talking and laughing the whole time, we walked to building four. She pressed second button while I pressed the twelfth. I bid her goodbye with wave before the elevator doors slid closed.
I plunked myself on my bed and went through the conversation with Jackie repeatedly in my mind, analyzing exactly how we became acquaintances. A few minutes later, I got back up and started rummaging through my several bags of luggage. Desperate for what I was looking for, I forgot all about staying tidy. Pieces of clothing, shoes, purses, and socks started flying out of the bags.
I need to put them in the closets, anyway. I thought to myself.
Finally, in suitcase number seven, I found it. Yanking out my laptop case and pink manuscript, I ran over to one of the desks.
“I’m an idiot,” I muttered the second I discovered there was already a Mac desktop sitting on the desk.
Ignoring my petty mistake, I moved over to another desk and powered on my laptop. As it loaded, I flipped through the pages of “Everything You Need to Know About Teenage Girls.” My mother had suggested I get this at the bookstore once before. Thinking of how lame it would appear, I rejected her offer, and later snuck back to buy it.
“Chapter 4: Making friends,” I said aloud.
Bring up topics that you both might like. Always talk about something they’d like instead of something only you like and drone on and on about it. When it comes to friends, you have to think of the other person before yourself. Make them happy, and then yourself.
It looked like I’d done just about everything right, just way less perky than the book had suggested. I’d finished reading “making friends” and “first sleepovers” in the book before furiously typing on the computer.
“How to bake sugar cookies,” I said as I typed.
Google brought up several links to my keywords. I selected the first one and printed the recipe.
----------
10:25
After finishing up those sugar cookies, leaving the kitchen in near ruins, I shoved the recipe in the back pocket of my shorts and changed my shirt into a night shirt. Shorts and a night shirt. That was what made a regular sleepover ensemble, didn’t it? I tied my honey brown hair that fell to my waist into pigtails and fluffed it up a bit to look like a “bed head” as they called it. Grabbing my overnight bag, my fashion kit, a pillow, and a teddy bear, I hopped into my slippers and darted toward the elevator.
As the elevator whizzed down to the second floor, I stared at my reflection in the gold plating in horror. My hair was a mess and my cheeks were bright red. Did I look too eager? Re-fluffing my hair and quickly applying some moisturizer on my face, I fixed myself up and calmed myself down.
Ding. The second floor.
I strode down the hallway using the type of walk I learned for runway. With a spring in my step, I knocked on the door Jackie disappeared in. A few moments later, Jackie appeared.
“Avaline?” Her eyes widened. I wasn’t sure if she was surprised in a positive or negative way, until she smiled. “Wow, you got here really fast. It’s only been fifteen minutes. I like your pajamas.”
I glanced down and realized her night outfit was entirely different from my ensemble. She wore purple and white striped pants that fell below her ankles and a plain white tank top. My mini white shorts were hidden behind my seafoam green night shirt, a lacy flower pattern at the v-neck and ribbons at the end of the sleeves. Her chocolate brown hair was still down and glossy while my honey brown hair was tied in two pigtails by white rose hair knotties.
Image
Fail at blending in?
I bit my lip, unsure if she’d take me in or force me to go back. Was everything she said earlier just frilly talk?
“Come on in,” she gestured inside her dorm. I followed her through the doorway and stared at the room. It was a plain right room, but the textures and patterns were eye-catching and it was really tidy. The bed on the left side of the room already had a comforter on it and brown leather suitcase sitting on top of it.

Kiki, just so you know Jack probably wouldn't have extended his hand for a handshake. Unless he knew exactly where someone was standing, he probably would just be sticking his hand out into thin air. hah.

Jack

I tried to move myself to where I would be facing the voices of this new group of students. "Nice to meet you all." I said with a smile. "You all excited for the year to start?"

----
Yeah..I don't know what else to do. I'm a tad occupied at the moment.

Oh and..I will be away from internet access for the nest fourish days. So please keep Mary and Jack going, don't let them become too socially awkward, help them make friends, and don't let them fall out any windows (they don't know how to parkour! haha).

Well, I'll be posting as soon as I get back!

Violet~~

My breathing was hard as I collapsed onto the bed. The laughing had gone down to a bare minimum of random 'hah's here and there. The girl who punched me in the stomach was smiling wide, content with herself while Mykolas looked around wide eyed from the girl and then to me. I breathed in and then out, trying to grasp the world that seemed to be slipping.

"Are you ok?" One of the figures I didn't recognize ask.

I gave a goofy smile, "I'm hun-gry is anyone else hun-gry?"

The smell of fresh baked cookies floated through the air and I slowly got up, attempting to stand. The others grouped around me making sure I didn't face plant my way to the floor below.

"Follow that scent!" I exclaimed and began to speed up, Mykolas was close behind along with the other girl, Desmond was close behind her. Swerving, i found the door that the scent seemed to be coming from.
I knocked twice and after three seconds I burst into the door.

"Hi!" Isaid to the girls in pajamas, "Sorry can I have a cookie?"

Desmond, Mykolas and the girl with the strange accent were at the door breathing hard.

"Oh! and them too!" I nodded to my companions and then to the starstruck girls.

Granger

After Jack went out for a walk I left. I kinda wondered why Jack had gone on a walk it wasn't like he was going to admire the campus. That made me feel guilty Jack seemed like a nice guy and all I could do was think of blind guy jokes. Great view isn't it? oh wait I forgot. Have you seen your hair today. Oh my god your dogs seems sick just look at him. I'd never say any of those things but I felt bad just for thinking of them.

"bye Shadow" I said to Jacks dog as I walked out of the room. A walk would probably clear my head. Just as the door shut someone walked into me.

"sorry" A girls voice mumbled.

"nah my fault" I said and quickly added.

"I'm Granger" The girl looked up.

"Melanie, but I prefer Mel" Mel said and I nodded.

"are you alright? you look a little um" I paused to try and think of a better way of saying it but just let it come out.

"You look a bit pissed off" I said

"A little" Mel replied.

*I hope this is alright and I didn't get Mel wrong*

*Nah, it's just fine, jok :)*

Melanie

"So, why are you pissed off?" Granger asked.
"Hum... I started walking, and he followed. "One of my roommates, my guy, roommate is a pervert and the other girl, I'm not sure, but I think was screwing around with him. Well, if they just met that means she's a slut. But I don't actually believe she's one, since I thought she was nice." I noticed I had been rambling until we reached the door that led outside. "Sorry, I'm rambling. I don't really know anyone around here."

I really didn't know anyone. I was hopping my roommates would be nice, since they would probably be the closest friends to me, but that as being contradicted by my meeting with them.

"What about you? New, around here?" I smiled, friendly. Maybe I could grab my first friend...

Granger

"Yeah I'm new too just got off the bus today" I said as we got to the stairs.

"how are your roommates" Mel said.

"room mate I've only met one of them, He's blind so he's definitely not a pervert but he seems a nice guy, you know your Room mates are probably normal I bet you just came in at a bad moment." I said, I hadn't met either of Mel's room mates so they might be freak but that didn't seem like the right thing to say.

"I walked in and one was hiding under the bed, the guy" Mel said as a smell of cookies led up upstairs.

"what kind of pervert hides under a bed" I said

"good point" Mel said. I took in a deep breath smeling the cookies.

"come on I bet cookie will make you feel less pissed off" i said and we walked down the hall were a bunch of people .

"Hey Jack" I said surprised to see him.

"Hi Granger" He said quickly still staring in front of him.

"you know him" asked Mel.

"Yeah my blind room mate" I said and pushed into the crowd were three guy were pushing threw one had a camera.

"Hi you like taking picturea"m I asked and the boy was stunned for a second before looking down at his camera.

"yeah I'm Ed" Ed said.

"I'm Granger who are your mates?"

"I'm Jonathan" One of them said.

"Desmond" A taller guy said and I shook his hand.

"Desmond the guy who was playing the guitar earlier" I asked.

"yeah that was me how'd you know" Desmond said I realised that me knowing he was playing guitare earlia seemed very stalker like so quickly told him how I knew.

"oh I heard a guy and girl outside my room saying Desmonds good with a Guitare, I play too on bass" I said

"you any good" Desmond asked jokingcly but I answred anyway.

"I'm alright but I'm better at singing at writing songs" Desmond nodded just as some girl came and gave the guys cookies.

"Hi I'm Violet" She said and I just nodded like an idiot for a few seconds.

"sorry those sugar cookie the smell it made me go blank for seconds I'm Granger" I said and gently pulled Mel over from somewere else in the crowd.

"and this is Mel" I said and stole a bit of Eds cookie as he was about to eat it.

"I'll pay you back"

*Hum... we're meeting the roommates and Violet was making cookies (just like May :D)*

Melanie

"So, wait. You are Granger," I pointed at the guy I had bumped into in the hall," this is Jack," I pointed at the one that he said was blind," and that's Ed," the one with the camera, "and..." I forgot the rest.
"I'm Violet," a girl said, sneaking up on me, from behind. I jumped a bit, but then smiled.
"I'm Mel."
"Oh, and that's Desmond." She pointed at the guy Granger was talking to.
"Oh, thanks. Can I take one? I bet you were the one to cook them."
"Yes, I was." Violet smiled, and I took two cookies and ate them quickly.
"You play the bass?" I asked Granger. "And you, the guitar?" They both nodded. "That's awesome."
"Do you play anything, Mel?" Violet asked from behind me again.
I turned to her and smiled.
"The piano's my thing," I smiled warmly, melted by the warm of my feelings for the piano. I was seriously in love with it. It... set me free. "But I also do vocals," I blinked at them.

Bethany

Bethany saw a boat load of people, one of them being Mel, as the smell of cookies surrounded me.

"Mel!" I called to her. She turned and glared at me. Well, it looked like a glare.

"Yeah?" She asked.

"Listen, I'm really sorry, about...well, earlier, but I promise it's not what you think it was," Beth sighed. "It's a long story, really."

"You didn't have to lie to me," Mel replied, not unkindly.

"I know and I'm sorry, but I don't want you to think bad of me or anything. I promise you, I just met David and I'm not that kind of a girl," I told her, truthfully. I really hoped she believed me.

---

Jonathan

He was staring at the girl who had yet to introduce herself. She looked like the wealthy kind that used to torment him and his freinds. He definetly never had money so he was always treated second best. He tried not to judge others because of it, but it always seemed too hard.

"What's your name?" He asked, trying to keep the acid from his voice. There was no sense in being mean. He didn't even know her.

"Avaline," she said quietly.

"I'm Jonathan," he sighed. She'd obviously seen that he already disliked her. Of course, he felt bad, but he just couldn't help it.

"I'll just be going inside or-" she started, but Jonathan stopped her. He was curious.

"What's your story? How come you've come here?" He asked her.
