Mikael and Mr Wink

Nightshade, the dragon princess flew by before exchange a quick conversation with Saber and a few others. She turned and launched off toward the fprest closely followed by a griffon.
"Mr Wink, i believe it is time we went for a run."
"Yes Boss. Me run lots quick." He scooped me up and ran full pelt towarss the castle. Trees and shrubs whistled past as his hulking blue form weaved in and out of the trees. We reached the castle and entered. I didn't pay much attention to the speeches and names of dignitaries but i paid particular attention when the subject of fighting for your kingdom came up.
"Just think about it Wink. An chance to get revenge for your family, your eye, your entire species."
"An you could get Melstorm for you people group bleed die." As unitelligable as his words were i understood what he was getting at. I would be able to get my revenge for the death of my men, the end of my order of justice and light.

Karli

I had followed the Griphon after he had chased the humans away. I hid against the tree. I'm pretty sure he wouldn't take too kindly to the likes of me. Even if I wasn't like the others.

I crouched down, careful not to snap another twig.

"Come out, human," the griphon ordered. I held my breath. He was smart. He knew what sounds humans made.

I raised my hands and stepped from behind the tree. I was caught, but maybe he would understand. I hoped so. I needed to track the others.

"Where's your gun?" He laughed. "You plan to fight me with nothing more than a knife?"

"Of course not," I replied, putting the knife back in the strap next to my stomach. "I don't plan to fight you at all."

Artalion

If she didn't plan to fight me, then she probably wanted to ask me something, which usually meant something bad. Usually by the time the problem gets to a gryphon, the problem has already become a bigger problem than anything the other species could deal with. I prepared to fly away.

"Please! I'm looking for Aurora! It's important I find her," she pleaded.

"Is the knife for her?"

"She's my guardian."

"I suppose you have proof of this?" I challenged. To my disappointment, she took out a brush made of unicorn hair.

"Follow me," I growled.

Karli

I let out a breath. He would help me. Though he didn't seem to happy about that.

"Thank you," I smiled. The gryphon didn't say anything. He only keep leading the way for me. I rolled my eyes. Stubborn thing, wasn't he.

"I'm Karli," I tried again. The gryphon didn't slow down.

"You're human," he replied. I almost laughed.

"Yes, I've noticed, but it would be in good manners to tell me your name as well, gryphon," I retorted.

"I am showing you the way, is that not enough?" He asked. Then with what I think was a sigh, he said, "I'm Artalion."

"Nice to meet you Artalion," I said. He groaned a little.

"We're almost there."
