War of the Tsurekin

Skylar watched in fear as Tala slowly got up on three legs and slowly managed to move where she stood in front of Skylar. Skylar quickly moved to her leg and looked at it then back at the fight. Ryukin had the throwing the sabertooth into a tree and was waiting.

"Will this heal?" Skylar asked softly to Tala.

"I don't know." Tala replied as she looked at the fight. "I should've been more careful."

"It's ok, we're still learning." She said softly. Skylar looked up at Kai then back towards Ryukin, this needed to be finished and soon, if it managed to defeat Ryukin they were in major trouble.

"If anything happens to Ryukin, leave." Tala said looking at her. "Run as fast as you can."

"That won't happen." Skylar replied. "And I won't leave you."

Ryukin fought hard, but he was slowly losing his ground to the enemy. Kai saw this and knew he had to do something, otherwise they would lose. He balled his hands into fists and engulfed them in fire. He had learned some control over the fire. He discovered that the fire he made doesn't hurt him.

Before he could do anything, though, the enemy Tsurekin's master said, "I wouldn't do that if I were you."

"Why not?" Kai asked, a little irritated.

"If I'm right, then you haven't learned how to control that fire of yours completely. It'd be a shame if you started a forest fire, now wouldn't it?"

Kai gritted his teeth because he knew the man was right. If he started a forest fire by accident then they would be in big trouble. He let the fire recede until it was gone.

"Now," the man said, "I think I'm going to finish this right now. Fang, you know what to do."

Fang, the man's Tsurekin, suddenly jumped forward. He moved too fast for Ryukin to avoid. Fang's head hit Ryukin's stomach with enough force to send him flying into a nearby tree. The impact hurt Ryukin, and he couldn't get back up right away. The Tsurekin loomed over the dragon. It slowly lifted its paw to deliver the final strike. It's claws slowly began to extend.

"Stop this right now!" A voice shouted.

"Who said that?" Skylar said.

They all looked around for the source of the voice. That's when they saw a man standing on a tree branch with his arms crossed. He wore orange and red armour that gave off what looked like a fiery aura. What looked like orange metal feathers hung from the armour plates on his arms, making them look like wings. His helmet looked like the head of some sort of bird. The man himself looked to be in his early twenties.

The sabertooth tiger's master frowned when he saw the newcomer. "You again? How long do you plan on getting in our way?"

"As long as it takes to stop you all." When the man spoke, it sounded like two voices speaking at the same time. One voice sounded like a normal person's voice, it was probably his original voice. The other sounded more feminine and seemed to vibrate with power. He looked down at Kai and the others and said, "Stand back, I'll take it from here."


(Wasn't expecting this, now were you? )

(((Nope, but I'm confussed what what he'll do. I have a feeling it's a guy and a tsurekin all mixed into one. I could be wrong. )))

Skylar looked at the man as she stayed next to Tala. She didn't know what they should do.

"Sky, you need to leave." Tala said softly. "You can't be hurt."

"I won't let you get killed either, and I won't leave you to fend for yourself." She replied back in a soft voice. "What do we do?" She asked looking up at Kai.

"All I can figure is do as he asks." He replied looking at Ryukin, she knew he wanted to go over and help him, but the fact that the sabertooth was still to close to Ryukin for it to be safe.

(I guess I did the right thing with using that picture of a pot earlier as foreshadowing if that's what you think. Now, can you tell which animal the Tsurekin is?

I'll post later today if I remember. I just got back from the hair cutters and shopping with my mom. She bought me two new video games that I want to try out. Plus, I've still got a bit of packing to do before I move into residence at college tomorrow. If I don't post again today or tonight, I'll do so tomorrow after I'm all moved in.)

((((Ok, it's a bird of some sort, not sure what kind of bird. But some sort of bird. My clue was the double voice and the fact that it was a metal like suit. Have fun!!!))))

The enemy master frowned and said, "I don't care how strong they say you are, no one gets in the way of me and my prey. Take him out, Fang!"

"Yes, Harry," the Tsurekin said in a low growlish voice. It crouched low to the ground before jumping at the newcomer in the tree. The man in armour Made no attempt to move. Instead, he lifted his arm to the side and, when Fang was close enough, backhanded the Tsurekin. The force of the hit sent Fang spiraling into a tree.

The enemy Tsurekin was sluggish after the hit. It didn't get back up right away. The man crossed his arms into an X and swung them forward. Multiple metal feathers flew out of his wings toward the Tsurekin. Fang managed to get back up in time to dodge the attack. The feathers stuck into the side of the tree, then each one burst into flames and disappeared, reappearing back on the man's wings.


(You want to have a go at choreographing the fight? What they just saw was one of his attacks, another one he has is shooting a wave of fire out of his wings with a similar motion, except he only uses one arm instead of two. If he catches anything on fire, the fire won't spread. He has complete control over his ability.)

Skylar watched as Fang got up and looked at his master.

"Get rid of him!" Harry hissed. Fang carefully moved around watching the man now. She saw him jumped towards him and the man backhanded him again and then moved his right arm across his chest before swinging it out as a bolt of fire shot towards Fang. Skylar couldn't help but let her mouth drop. Fang got part way out of the way, the fire scorched his back end and he cried out in pain.

"I suggest you give up." The man said looking at Harry who was fuming.

"One more." Fang growled as he looked at the man his eyes narrowing. He lept at the man who instead of back handing him he seemed to punch him, but whatever he did threw the sabertooth through the woods and against a tree causing it to snap and fall. Harry ran after his Tsurekin as the man faced Kai and Skylar.

((Oh, and I'm supposed to "Remind Dynamo to post in both of our stories." Ayumi. So I don't know if that means both of your two stories or this one and her's. No idea, but it's done ))

(That should be fine. And I posted in one story earlier today and I'm going to post in the other after this. I've been so preoccupied with moving in and stuff that I haven't had the energy to post in all three. Tell Ayumi thanks for the reminder for me, will you?)


Fang got back to his feet, but it looked like it was having a hard time standing. Harry scowled at the newcomer and said, "Don't think you'll be able to get away with this." He and his Tsurekin ran off into the forest.

Skylar and Kai cautiously approached the newcomer. He said, "You are safe for now. I suggest you get out of here before the police officials show up to investigate."

"You saved us, thank you," Skylar said.

"You do not need to thank me. I already have a vendetta against Tsurikansen, which means anyone they target I must protect." He turned and began to walk away. "Now, I must take my leave."

"Wait," Kai said, "won't you at least tell us your name?"

"My name is of no importance, I am merely an agent of justice."

They heard Sean's voice calling out for them. Ivy and the others had made it, but by the time they arrived, the mysterious man had already disappeared...

Skylar looked and saw Sean and everyone else run over.

"What happened?" Ivy asked as she looked at Tala who was laying on the ground still unable to fully stand for a long period of time on her leg. She then looked at Ryukin.

"Can we explain when we find a way to get them back to the mansion and then get there?" Kai asked.

"Yes." Ivy replied and turned to Sahara who emerged from the woods. "Please carry them back to the mansion."

"Yes, Miss Ivy." Sahara said. Skylar bit her lip when he picked up Tala.

(By the way, when Sahara addresses Ivy, he calls her Miss Stone.)


They could hear the distant sound of police sirens slowly getting closer.

"Let's go, now," Kai said.

They got out of the forest without anyone seeing them. A limo was parked nearby that they all took to get back. Ivy called some of her people to bring back Sean's car and Skylar's bike.

When they got back they brought Tala to a special infirmary Ivy had made for Tsurekin. She had asked Ryukin to rest in there for a while, but he insisted that he was fine and that Tala needed more help than him. After that Ivy wanted to speak to Kai, Skylar, and Ryukin in her office about what happened. Akira was there, too. The rest of The Aushaulten had to go back to the games room or their own rooms.

"So, what happened out there?" she asked.

((I thought he used her last name, just couldn't remember her last name. :S Sorry ))

Skylar didn't like being away from Tala when she was seriously hurt. She rubbed her arms as Kai started to explain glad that she wasn't the one that would have to do the talking.

"We ran into a member of Tsurikansen, he's sabortooth had I believe started the fire on the bus. We followed it into the woods, just Skylar and me sense our Tsurekin were around. Tala and Skylar battled it first, and were doing well until the Tsurikansen I guess tired of it all and had the Sabor attack Tala harder. Ryukin stepped in after that." Kai said. "He had got knocked back when this guy showed up."

"What did he look like?" Ivy asked.

"Like he was a Tsurekin, but a human." Skylar said. "It was a bird of sorts, and when he talked it was two voices, one a girls one a guys."

"He barely moved. I've never seen anything like it." Kai replied. "He said he helped anyone that went against Tsurikansen."

Ivy seemed to think for a moment. "What colour was this man's armour?"

"Orange and red," Kai said. "He's also able to control fire like me."

Ivy and Akira both looked at each other. There was a moment of understanding between the two of them. Akira was the first to say, "Well, looks like we found another descendant."

"What?" Skylar said, a little shocked.

Ivy explained, "What you said about him was accurate, Skylar. He was part man and part Tsurekin, and his Tsurekin was none other than a phoenix."

"But, is that even possible? A Tsurekin and his master fusing together?" Ryukin asked, a little intrigued.

"In your training to strengthen your bonds with your Tsurekin you have all gained unique powers. What you saw tonight will be the pinnacle of your training."

"Can you and Sahara fuse?" Skylar asked.

She nodded. "So can Akira and Mirage."

Akira stepped in. "Tsurekin have powers unlike anything you have ever seen, or will ever see again in your life time. In order for a Tsurekin's full potential to be unlocked, it must be one with its master using a technique called Soul Fusion. De kara, when that happens the master and Tsurekin share the same mind and body, essentially becoming a new person."

"How much stronger can we get if we learn how to perform Soul Fusion?" Kai asked.

Akira smiled. "Let me put it to you this way. Right now, all your Tsurekin only have access to one percent of their full strength."

Skylar looked at her surprised. Only one percent. That mean they had so much more potential and so little time.

"So how do we unlock the rest?" She asked

"Training." Ivy replied. "Lots of it."



***I've nothing sorry, been a LONG day.***

"How long do you think it'll take us to train to that level?" Kai asked.

"By the end of summer, most of you should be able to perform Soul Fusion. If you go above and beyond just the training I give you, you may be able to use it sooner." Ivy lifted a finger. "But, that's only the beginning. When you finally do obtain the level necessary for Soul Fusion, your Tsurekin will have access to only five percent of their maximum strength, at best. When that happens, the real training begins."

Skylar cut in at that moment. "Wait. You've practically got us running marathons every day. Are you saying it's only going to get harder?"

Ivy nodded. "You all need to be strong enough to defeat Tsurikansen. But even then, that's only the first step. You all need to become as strong as you possibly can for when the five Tsurekin Lords awaken. Legend states that they're strong enough to move mountains. Thus, you need to be able to move mountains as well, if you ever hope to defeat them."

"If you don't mind me asking, how strong are you two when using Soul Fusion?" Kai asked.

"When Akira and Mirage fuse, they have access to sixteen percent of their full potential. Sahara and I have access to twenty one."

"How do you expect us to catch up to you in half a year when it took you five years to just get that strong?" Skylar asked.

"Because we haven't trained as hard as I'm making you all. That's why Akira and I will train with you when the time comes. If we're lucky, by the time the Tsurekin Lords awaken, we will all be up to fifty percent or more."

Skylar nodded and took a deep breath. "When do we start? How are we going to get better? Will the repetivness help?"

"Yes, as will sparing with each other which will be added into the training as well. You will spar in the afternoon after your normal training. It will change every day who you spar with."

"When will Tala be better?" She asked.

"Lets go see what exactly is wrong." Ivy smiled.
