War of the Tsurekin

***Whats Elise's Tsurekin again?***

(A crocodile, remember? You were the one who chose it for her. )

***Right, sorry, my brain is fried. ***

Skylar smiled and stood next to Tala. She dropped her foot back and then her shoulder where she matched Tala's crouch unconsciously. She narrowed her eyes slightly as she looked at Elise and then at her Tsurekin.

"Go." Ivy said. Tala moved forward two feet and then stood stalk still as she waited for the first attack. Elise's Tsurekin moved forward quickly and then spun around to whip Tala with its tail. Tala jumped up out of the way and then batted at him wtih her tail.


**What are her powers? I don't know how to have Tala fight a croc. **

(Crocodiles are strong creatures and excellent swimmers. If you want you can have Mira jump in the pool, but then that would leave Elise open for an attack, unless she jumps in with her Tsurekin.

I'll post tomorrow, I'm going to bed right now. I played video games and watched Heros with my friends tonight.)

(You think you could do another post? I'm at a loss for ideas right now.)

***I'm not much better. I'm not really sure how to fight a croc, but here it goes. ***

Sky watched Elise's movement as Tala slowly started to half circle the crocodile, keeping herself between it and Sky.

"Go." Skylar said. Tala lept forward, twisted to the side as it's powerful jaw snapped at her and then Tala shoved her paws into it's side shoving it back towards Elise. Tala moved back into a croching position. Tala chewed her lower lip as she looked for a quick way to Elise. She knew that if she got a straight shot she could run and knock Elise down, but she wanted to two Tsurekin to be able to spar for a while so that Tala could get stronger.

Skylar tried to think of a plan. Mira was slow moving, so as long as Tala could dodge her attacks she would be fine. The biggest threat was the croc's jaws, obviously. Once a crocodile clamps its jaws down on something, it won't let go.

That's when Skylar realised something. The muscles that work a crocodile's jaws are meant to be strongest when clamping them, but if something is holding the jaws shut they can't open back up. Was it the same for a Tsurekin? It was worth a try...


(There, something for you to work from. By the way, I'm thinking of making a comic book of this story in my spare time while I'm in college. I've already done a rough rendition of Ryukin and I'm going to start on Tala soon. When I say rendition, I mean a basic side view of the character with colours, but with no shading. It's mostly meant to give myself a basic idea of what the character looks like to work off of. I'm also thinking of asking a girl that one of my friends from the anime club knows to help me with some of the work, or at least character concepts. If I actually decide to go through with this, I'll be sure to post it on the site whenever I finish the first page.)

"Tala, jaw clamp." She said quickly. Tala looked at her and then back at the Tsurekin. Tala moved quickly jumping on the crocodile's jaws and clamped her legs around it's jaws. Skylar watched as it started tossing it's head around and she winced when it slammed Tala into a tree. She didn't let go though.

"Can't hold much longer." Tala hissed. Skylar nodded and took off towards Elise quickly grabbing her and pushing her to the ground making sure she didn't hit her head or anything.

"Stop." Ivy said. Tala got up and moved away from the Tsurekin.

"That was a good fight," Ivy said as Sky helped Elise up to her feet.

"You got me good," Elise said. That earned a smile from Skylar.

"Next up, Kai and Ceder." The two boys stepped up to spar as Skylar and Elise got out of the way. Kuma and Ryukin squared off, it was going to be an interesting match with two powerhouses facing off.

"Matte."

Ivy turned to Akira. "What's wrong?"

"I want to see how strong Kai and Ryukin are myself," she said.

Ivy looked at her for a moment, then nodded. "Ceder, you'll fight in the next round."

Ceder and Kuma got out of the way, being replaced by Akira and Mirage.

(You can write them preparing to spar, then the begining of the fight.)

Skylar sat down next to Tala who lowered herself to the ground. She watched as Ryukin and Kai walked to one side of the area and then Kai glanced around quickly paying attention to everythign in the area. She bit her lower lip as Ryukin stood in front of Kai eyes alert, but seemingly not moving.

A move they learned from Ivy and Sahara. She thought. It's a better tatic for the bigger animals. Tala's weapon is her speed. Akira looked at Kai and smiled a tad.

"Are you ready?" She asked.

"Of course." Kai replied his eyes alert. She smiled.

"Good." With that word her Tsurekin shot forward surprising Skylar.


**Hope that works, sorry I have issues with my internet**

Ryukin stood his ground. Mirage tackled him with all his strength, but Ryukin pushed back. They were equally matched in strength, neither one of them lost any ground.

Ryukin banged his head against the side of Mirage's face, momentarily stunning him. He moved his head under his opponent's body and, using all his strength, lifted him up and threw him back.

Mirage landed on his feet and readied himself to attack again. "Not bad," Akria said. "Ryukin must be very strong if he managed to push Mirage back like that."

"Thanks," Kai said.

Akira smiled. "Demo, strength is not what Mirage excels at."

Mirage jumped forward again. He moved even faster than Tala. It looked as though he was heading for Ryukin again, but when he got within attack range he faked to the left and ran at Kai instead. While the action would have surprised anyone else, Kai seemed unfazed. He swung his arm outward and created a wall of fire in front of him, blocking Mirage's path. Ryukin jumped on Mirage's back a moment later, pinning the Tsurekin to the ground.

"I thought you might try something like that," Kai said from behind his protective wall of fire. "I'm prepared for anything you throw at me."

Mirage bucked Ryukin off his back before returning to his place in front of Akira.

Skylar smiled and watched them.

"They've gotten better." Tala said. "If we're ever going to spare with them we need to up our game."

"I agree completely. We need to seriously up our game." She sighed.

"We'll have to start after this." Tala whispered.
