The inside of the mansion was just as big as they thought it would be. It almost felt like they were standing in a high class hotel. The place was decorated by many Egyptian artifacts, as well as some Greek, Roman, and Aztec pieces. The place felt very high class, but at the same time it felt cozy.
"This place is amazing," Sean said. "How can you afford all of this?"
Ivy smiled. "I inherited this mansion from my family. My ancestors were one of the first to colonize this country. My great great grandfather was a famous archaeologist, and when he died he gave everything he owned to his children, then they passed it all on to their children, and so on until it came to me."
"So, all these artifacts were discovered by your great great grandfather?" Kai asked.
She shook her head. "I keep all of his discoveries in a vault under the mansion to keep them safe. What you see here was all found by me."
They all looked at her then, amazed. "You found all of these?" Skylar asked.
She nodded. "As soon as I finished college I began to travel around the world in search of ancient artifacts. Ever since I was a child I wanted to fallow in my great great grandfather's footsteps and make as many discoveries as he did. Sometimes I wish I can go back to traveling the world like I did years ago."
"What made you stop?" Kai asked.
"Five years ago I was on an expedition with a group of my colleagues to a recently discovered tomb in Egypt. We came across a sealed room. After three days of work we were able to open it, and inside that room was Sahara."
They all looked at her Tsurekin then. "How long had he been in there?" Kai asked.
"I don't know, and neither did he," she said. "The walls of that room were covered with ancient messages. Everything I know about the Tsurekin I learned from that room. Once I learned about the five Tsurekin lords I decided that something had to be done. That's when I started Tsurikansen. The organization was meant to be a safe haven for Tsurekin and their masters, a place where they could live and train in peace without worrying about being discovered by the rest of the world, until the day came that the Tsurekin lords awakened. Jirran was one of my younger colleagues that came with me on that expedition to Egypt. When he found his Tsurekin, Chimera, he changed. He lost sight of what Tsurikansen was about and turned it into nothing more than a gang of delinquents."
"If you don't mind me asking, when will the Tsurekin lords awaken?" Sean asked.
"January the first, 2010."
