Element

So this storybook is basically about people fighting who have elemental powers. Ill give you the short version of the story.

The elves plan on taking over the world, because, arent elves the best? But in order to do this, they need an extra something to help them take over the humans and the other creatures that inhabit it. Although, not all of the elves are bad. There are some who wish to keep the earth in balance, and it is those elves who try to help the humans. Even so, the other elves need some help to take over. This calls for finding the elements. When the elves finally discover the first element and the easiest to find(fire) they send one of there best elves who loves the thrill of near death experiences. Seeing as the element is fire, what better place to put it than at the top of the tallest mountains in the world where the suns heat is strongest, giving people the chance to retrieve it. The only problem for the elves is that the elements have a defense system. When the protectors of the elements (shapeshifters) release the elements, they flee to the strongest emotion that describes the element. So lets say your feeling mad, hatred, revenge, all that jazz. The fire would probably come to you. Feeling weightless and like you have no strings attached anywhere like you could go with the flow, you would recieve the air element. And so on and so on.

The different elements are:
Fire
Earth
Air
Water
Healing ( Thats a pretty obvious one.)
Darkness (Like you have the ability to control shadows and other interesting things. Get creative!)

You can be a human, shapeshifter (Not too many of these, or it will mess things up. But if you are a shapeshifter, your idea is to put the earth back in balance with the power even. This way, your probably going to be in hiding trying to help the humans and the rebel elves.), elves, and other creatures you can think of. You can pm me if you have any questions about it.

Personality: Very easy going, but when he finally gets involved in something, which is exreamily rare, he goes all out for it. So, when the elements were released, air chose him for his easy going way of life. He protects his friends with his life, but you would be hard pressed to become his friend.

Background: Will be discovered during the story.

Other: Was part of the royal family of elves untill he heard there plan to recover the elements. To get away from them he decided to go with the flow. Turns out his plan backfired on him.

Name: Lyraesel Immeril [Lyra to her friends]

Race: Elf

Age: She looks as if she's in her early 20s, though of course, elves are immortal, and she is actually just 300 years of age.

Appearance: Her long cocoa coloured hair is braided into intricate little plaits and threaded with glass beads, and piled on her head, two lilies sit in her hair, the stem curling through her hair as if still alive. Her features are perfect and beautiful, like every other elf in the world. Her eyebrows slant upwards; her ears point at he ends. She stands at about 5 foot 9 and is wearing tight black leather trousers and a long shirt, covered with her thick purple cloak. On her left hand sits a golden ring, with a beautiful gem sitting on top of it, even from a distance you can see the love and passion that was put into making the fiery red gem Attached to either side of her trousers are her Elf Warrior Dual Sword[http://www.thecollectorsedge.com/images/LR_CE-M411.jpg], the sheats patterned with lilies along the side.

Backround: Lyraesel grew up in the biggest forest known to man, words can't even describe it's size. The trees are so high they look as if the endless green leaves are touching the azure sky above, the trunks can get so big that it would take fifty people with their hands joined to actually reach all the way around it. When she reached her hundredth summer she decided to travel away from the confines of the forest and Lyra met a man, a human, whom she fell in love with (also the one who made her the ring that sits on her left hand), but being a human he died whilst she was still young and healthy, he died when she was one hundred and twenty years old. After he died, she decided to travel more, wondering at the beauty of the world, nature being her one true love, the one who would never leave her. On her hundredth birthday, she heard of the dark elves plan to take over, full over anger at such stupidity she's been travelling to try to find more elves, humans and any other race that wanted to help defeat the dark elves.

Element: Water, she can basically manipulate the shape and mass of water, and bend it to her will.

Basic Information:
Aubin Laidley is a female, 346 years old sorceress (having the appearance of one ageing around 18 ), having the power of darkness.

Appearance:
Aubin is 5'9'' with brown hair that's naturally highlighted all over with various shades of blonde and red colour. She is very athletic and enduring. She has rounded off features, a strong Roman nose, and one silver eye and the other green. Her skin tone suggests some Greek heritage. She usually wears a deep blue tunic emblazoned with her crest, a black circle with an intricate crescent moon. Or, she wears a black, flowing dress that blends and melts in with shadows. She always dons a medallion that has the same crescent moon.

Personality:
Aubin is very arty, creative and a bit defiant. She has a very changeable mood but is an expert at concealing her feelings. She is a very good actor and she's not afraid to break rules. She can be a bit rude to authority but can also give the impression of an angel. She seems, at first glance, to be rather hard and serious, but when you begin to get to know her, she's actually very amiable, if not down to earth and a bit serious. She is known for her airy, drifting lifestyle. Not many really know her however. She keeps a lot of things about her to herself. She has a mysterious aura and doesn't tend to stay in once place. She welcomes change.

Power:
To stress more on her power. She channels it through a quarterstaff that has two intertwined roses weaving around it. (The staff also doubles as a lethal weapon.) She works mainly in illusions and using another's fear the her own advantage. She can make a whole army of people see one illusion, or single someone out. She also can take someone's fear and enhance it. She can read the worst fear of the person standing nearest to her, and can sense the person with the most. She can also blend into shadows and become one. She can also make shadows into different illusions. She works her magic best at night.

History:
She was always a loner from the beginning. Her mother is unknown, and her father has disappeared. He used to drink a lot. She is a self taught, and well respected sorceress. She allies with the good elves who support earthly balance, but can be easily swayed to either side. She joined their cause early on and found her darkness element at the bottom of a seemingly endless chasm leagues beneath the ocean.

Other:
Aubin is up for love. Being a sorceress, she can also work many basic charms, but definitely specialises in her darkness element.

Name: Jade

Race: Elf

Age: Looks to be 18 but is really 346.

Personality: Cynical and strange. She is not very compassionate and is very brave and self-reliant. She will stop at nothing to get what she wants. She loves no one and see love as something that makes you weak. She hates humans only because she wants to be one. She thinks that if she helps take over the humans her desire to be one of them will go away.

Side: Elves/over-throwing humans

Element: Thunder/Lightning (?)

History: As far back as she can remember she has had to do things herself. She likes it like that. She blocks her real feelings from others and won't let them see any weakness. None. She won't get close to anyone, but she does have a few freinds.

personality- He's hot tempered with a love of life that no one else can match. His friends joke that he's an 'optimist by nature, a cynic by circumstance.' The best way to describe Sin is intense. Arrogant, graceful, and passionate, he has a temper, but years of experience have taught him to think with his head. Sin treats everyone he meets with some degree of mistrust. He lives by his own code and he's a trouble maker. But beneath it all he's a good guy. The rest of his personality will be revealed with time.

history- Sin is mad at the world. Shunned by the elves for not being 'pure of blood' and abandoned by the tengu for his mothers crimes. Sin raised himself on the streets of a human city. He's a thief for hire, and rumour says he'll do anything for money. But beneath the scars of his past, beats the heart of a hero. Sin has only recently come into his powers and he's not really sure what to do with them.

Although he's a thief, Sin has a strong sense of justice, and will often stand up for those wronged.

There's thunder?

More lightning than thunder, and more storms than thunder. I go that question a while ago. Like i said, if you want a different element, just pm me and ask.

Name: Klome

Race: Elf

Age: Appears to be in his 20's

Appearance: The man is tall and muscular, but not like body builder, just like he is strong, and is about six foot two. He suits some short, sort of spiky, brown hair, with a few strips of blond in it. His eyes are a cold, and piercing, dark blue, that seem to be able to read your thoughts and see your past. Usually his clothes are loose, but cover his body, and allow full movement in battle. Along with his two blades he keeps strapped in an X on his back, with two daggers on his belt.


Personality: He is cool and calm most of the time, with only a rare slip of anger. Not afraid of anyone, he will take any challenge he feels like, and beat anyone who gets in his way. As the best fighter and assassin known, he is feared by many, admired by some. He is cold with his job, and does not care what you expect, he will do the kill whatever way he pleases, and people will pay him any way, out of fear.
