Yes, sorry, but weather does include lightning bolts. They cannot however control things such as dust storms and tornados, as that deals with air.

Ok guys, from now on, if you have questions just post them in the DT. It will make this whole storybook a lot less messy, and easier to understand and see whos a character and not just somebody asking a question. Or you can pm me if its something you want as a suprise for the story, but you want to make sure your allowed to do.

Wait does that mean I can't use weather because it uses Air. Or it also has stuff lightning doesn't.

No, you can use weather, such as rain, lightning, fog, and hail. But air and wind are controlled by a different element.

So, for arguements sake, can we just say that Bolt and I's character basically control the same thing. Maybe they can be like brother and sister or something? If that's okay with Bolt. This way no one has to change anything. (:

Yeah, that should work fine. To make it even better, maybe you guys could be maternal twins, and its the link between you that allowes you to share the element.

*Here goes nothing*

Alken woke with a start. He was covered in sweat. Yet again, he had the nightmare that had been haunting his dreams for the last few months. Seeing that he was wet from persperation, he sent a gust of wind all around him in order to dry up faster.

"You know," said a voice behind him," Ive got to say, thats either the best luck to catch a drift of wind like that, or you have the air element."

Alken looked up and reached for his sword at the same time. He trusted nobody, especially elves considering they were trying to overthrow the humans in order to obtain more power. As he met the face of a young woman, she smiled. He wasnt sure if it was a mocking smile, or a sincire one. Hopefully he wouldnt have to find out it was a mocking smile to soon. She was extreamily pretty.

That was when he noticed her ears. They were long and came to the point at the top.

"What side are you on?" said Alken.

*I guess I'll just pop in here. ^-^ Sorry it's short.*

Lyraesel raises a slanted brow to the stranger, a small smile playing on her perfectly sculpted lips, "Well, what side are you on?" Her smile is kind and gentle, and a warmness seems to emnate from her very being. She dips her head slightly and gracefully in greeting, and examines the man. A slight breeze pushes some of her dark braids into her face, and they hit her fair skin. Also noticing that he's also an elf, she examines his handsome features as he replies, "I'm on the side of the humans."

She nods, obviously relieved, "As am I, my name is Lyraesel, or Lyra, for short."

"I'm Alken."

"It's a pleasure." She chuckles, her chuckle the sound of music. Her thoughts start to stray to when she'd seen him, she'd felt slightly wary, because of the dangerous times, and was very glad that she didn't have to get into any sort of fight. She crosses her arms across her chest, her eyebrow still raised. A slight breeze pushes some of her dark braids into her face, and they hit her fair skin

*Can you guys be in the same city as Sin?*

Sin-

Silently, he folded his wings back, landing softly on the window sill. The room was quiet, lit by the soft glow of a lantern. A young woman slept in the large bed, Sin glanced at her before padding across the bedroom to the desk.

The scroll was in plain sight on the desk, it listed the names of all the major thieves and gang leaders in the city, right up to the Rogue himself. If the Guard Captains got hold of this there would be havoc in the lower city. Quickly Sin snatched the scroll up, and tucked it into his belt.

Just as he was turning to leave the door opened and the nobleman walked into the room. For a moment Sin froze, then the man bellowed and charged towards him. Instantly the room was filled with smoke blinding him. Cat quick, Sin ran to the window and jumped out his wings opening to the night air.

He grinned to himself as he flew, behind him Sin could here the frustrated guards shout as they raised the alarm. It wasn't like they could give chase, none of them have wings.

Sin landed with a light thump on the roof. He opened the scroll and read through it rapidly. Eyes widened in shock, this was one damning piece of paper. "Too bad no one will ever see it." He thought with a smirk. With a thought he summoned a small fire ball. It floated just at eye level with him, carefully he placed the scroll inside, and fed the flames.

Just as he was preparing to leave he heard a gasp behind him.

*Maybe he could be outside your window and you see the fire.*

Aubin~

"I was coming to retrieve the same thing, but it seems as if you've reached it before I have." Aubin whispered, glancing at the sheet of paper. "Who's side are you on?" That question was about as common nowadays as 'Hello, how are you?'

He just glared back at her, watching her every move as if she'd lean forward and grab the burning paper from his hands.

**Guys, I apologize for making such a horrible and cruel character. You'll see she's not all bad...well maybe not soon but eventually. (:

Jade

I smiled at the human practically begging at my feet. I had a beanie over my ears so that no one would be able to tell if I was an elf.

"Please," she begged. "She's just a child."

"A human child," I spat. "Disgusting and contaminated. She's better off dead, just as you are." Tears were streaming endlessly down her face. She grabbed the bottom of my dress.

"Let her go! Please! Don't do this," she cried. I kicked her and she fell away.

"How dare you touch me!" I shrieked. I could feel my anger rising and with that I could cause an entire storm, but today I was only after one. This one who obviously didn't have the information I seeked for.

"I believe you should be punished." I stared at the little girl who was watching, horrified, at her mother. She was probably only eight years old and had never seen anything like this.

"Mommy," she whispered to the unconscious woman. Her bottom lip trembled.

"Your mother is dead. Or at least she will be soon," I replied. She looked at me with terrified and haunting eyes. She didn't say anything. Wierd kid. Even for a human.

"What are you doing here?" Another voice asked behind me.

"Leave me to finish what I've started brother," I responded.

"Why? Is it necessary to kill the girl? You came for information. You know they don't have what we want so leave them," he said. "Killing is not always necessity."

"Have the humans made you soft brother?" I asked, acidly. "Or are you just jealous that I got to them first?"He rolled his eyes and chuckled.

"Fine. Do what you wish, but I'm off to actually find the information," he replied. I pursed my lips.

"Well, I'm coming with you then," I replied. I wasn't angry anymore and I didn't have the energy to kill the stupid woman or her child. It had been a long day.

As Alken looked at Lyra, he new that she was the type of person that he enjoyed being around.

"Seeing how fast you noticed my element," Alken thought outloud," that means that youve been around people with elements as well. Unless of course you have an element."

Alken glanced up at her to see she was wearing a knowing smile. It unearved him to see such a smile on such a pretty face.

*Sorry, this is reeeaaally short, but ive got a lot of things that i have to do, and this is the best i could do in that short time frame. SORRY!*

She tilts her head to the side at his words, and her smile brightens.

"Oh yes, I do. But you'll have to guess it before I tell you." She laughs, watching his reaction and then takes a step closer to him, and folds her arms under her chest. A vanilla like smell surrounds her, and the flowers in her hair seem to twist around to face the sun as she moves.
*Yeah, same. It's only short 'cause I'm doing coursework though!! I'll make 'em longer later, I promise!*

"Hmmm, well your easy going, and you like to laugh. That alone takes out quite a few of the elements. Leaving... water, air(but thats mine), and healing. But for some strange reason, you dont look like the healing type. Considering the fact that you look like you could kill somebody and still sleep soundly at night (not meant as an insult.). So my guess is water."

She looked up at Alken and winked.

"Well arent you a perceptive boy?" she laughed at the look on his face.

Alken new he was right the minute he thought about it. It just seemed to fit the beautiful elf. Water was full of beauty and she looked fluid and agile in her movements which hinted to water in themselves. 'This should be interesting', Alken thought. He wondered what types of things could occur when you mixed the different elements together. Would they create some type of super element? Or just make a water tornado sort of thing..

Lyra looked at him and started to wave her hand in front of his face.

"Huh, what?" Alken looked around startled. Lyra laughed.

"You kinda fazed out.. Got something on your mind?"
