“I was just thinking what’d happen if our two elements were... mixed together.”

Lyra raises an eyebrow to this, and tilts her head to the side. Mulling over that for a second, whilst looking at the elf opposite her, she bites her lip wondering whether it’d be safe to mix the two elements, and how they’d go about it, she shrugs and grins.

“Lets try it!” She laughs at the shock crossing his face.

“What... now?”

“No time like the present.” She smiles crookedly before straightening her head and placing her hands on her hips.

“Um okay...” He murmurs, with an eyebrow raised.

Alken sent a wave of wind through the room and waited for Lyra to act. As she sent a bubble of water towards the wind, Alken felt a trembling sensation shoot through him. He dropped the wind imediately and looked at Lyra.

"Did you feel that?" Alken asked, eyes wide.

"Yeah," Lyra was immitating Alkens expression," i wonder what it was. Do you think that all the people with elements noticed that?"

"My guess is as good as yours, but i bet that you had to be within a certain vicinity in order to feel what we did. As they were farther away, they probably felt it less and less untill they felt nothing at all. We should try putting them together again and see if we can see anybody shudder in the city."

Lyra nodded and brought the globe of water back up. They crept to the window and looked out as Alken sent a gust of wind through the water. One man they saw shudder. He had wings and looked like he was really angry. He even looked a little bit like Alken..

*If you didnt get the hint, sylverdawn, that was a way to incorperate Sin into our little group. :D *

Lyra shook her head, and let the water fall to the ground, she watched it soak into the mud outside and then looked up, also noticing the man with wings. She bites her lip and raises an eyebrow,

"Do you know who he is?" Lyra murmurs.

Alken shook his head, "No..."

Lyra stops chewing on her lip, "Do you think we should ask him which side he's on?" She gives a small smile and not waiting for a reply she opens the window, and jumping out of it with the grace of an elf, bending her knees before landing agiley to the ground.

She then straightens and looks up towards the window, motioning for Alken to follow her lead. As he lands next to her just as gracefully she nods slightly before she strides towards the man with the wings, some stray strands of hair trailing behind her in the wind. She whistles loudly to catch the winged man's attention before speaking to him, her voice friendly but wary at the same time.

"Hello sir, which side are you on?" She chuckles slightly, it had become a very common question to greet people with, and she felt silly saying it, but you needed to be sure, right?

*Theres one other thing I forgot to mention with the Tengu race. A Tengu can act as a magical amplifier. A noble Tengu like Sin can strengthen magic to an enormous degree, however they are bound by a spell that makes them incapable of killinf. This spell does not apply to half breeds like Sin though.*

Sin-

Lovely, elves." He thought sarcastically. They clearly hadn't seen the fireball yet, Sin sent into the air above them unnoticed. Folding his wings he turned towards them, "I'm with the humans." He said bluntly.

Surprisingly they looked releaved, some of the rebel elves maybe. Sin glanced from the girl to the boy standing beside her. Recognition flashed through Sin and he stiffened, ready for a fight.

*The only contact Sin has had with his elven family is his father, who's asshole. So meeting his brother he's expecting an attack.*

"Woah, hey, we dont want a fight. Just want to talk. Its good to have people on our side close around us. This way we actually have a chance if the elves decide to attack. Espeacially with your wings. Those things must really come in handy." explained Alken.

The guys just looked at him as if expecting something.

*Sorry, cant think of much..*

Lyra smiles slightly as Alken tries to calm him down, she nods to the strange man, "I'm Lyra, by the way."

"I'm Sin." He murmurs, his stance still not relaxed.

Lyra's slanted eyebrows furrow in the middle slightly, and she tilts her head to the side, wondering why this man was expecting a fight.

*Hmm, we need some sort of climax in the story. Need something exciting to happen! xD Any ideas? Plus... where is everybody?!*

**I'm going to get my character (who is with the elves) in with yours. There might be some drama. If only Bolt, whose character is her brother, would post!

Jade

I smiled at the elves talking. I sighed and walked in. They looked up alarmed, and my brother nudged me.

"Look, we've scared them Jade," he laughed a little. "We should have knocked."

"Dosen't anyone give us any privacy?" One of the males asked. I cocked an eyebrow.

"I do what I want. End of story," I replied. The female elf looked me over and I smiled at her.

"How rude of me," I said, with fake horror. "I'm Jade and this is my brother."

"I'm Alken," one of the elves said. "And this is Lyra."

"I'm Sin," the last said. He was so calm...interesting. "What is it tht you want?"

"I get it," I suddenly burst out, laughing a little. "You all are with the humans!"

"Jade. Calm down," my brother sighed. He looked back at the others.

"Let's kill them brother!" I exclaimed. I looked excitedly at the others. This could prove to be interesting.

"Jade. Calm down," My brother saud once again. "We need to get the information out of them firt of all."

"What are you talking about?" Lyra asked. I turned my head towards her.

"You know exactly what we're talking about and you will tell us," I replied.

**Maybe this could add a little conflict. (:

Alken stood in a ready stance, expecting all hell to break loose at any moment. Who knew what these two people could do? They could have elements with montrous magical powers. Alken looked at the girl. She looked like a ruthless killer. There was a hint of goodness deep inside her when you looked into her eyes however. This meant that there was hope for her. This must be why she was acting out as she was, to prove that she was bad and not wanting to go to the good side of the world. This was her way of distancing herself from that possibility as much as possible.

Alken looked at sin who looked as ready as himself and realized why he looked familiar. As a child, Alkens father had always been good friends with a tangu woman. Alken had never thought that the relationship had gone farther than that, but it must have to be able to spaun the man standing before him. The shear power that must have been in that body would be so emmense that Alken knew that the evil elves had no chance whatsoever of putting a scratch on this half tengu.

Lyra's hands fall to her swords that hang by her waist, her eyes examining the woman, as if sizing her up and trying to figure out her capabilities, she narrows her eyes, her swords pulled almost halfway from their sheaths.

"I have no idea what you're talking about." She murmurs.

Her hands tighten on the hilts of her swords as she waits for the woman to make her next move, and really not in the mood for a fight. She then tilts her head slightly in the direction of Alken and the half tengu man, three against two.

These strangers had no chance.

Sin-

"Considering that the humans, have treated me better then the elves and tengus combined. Damn right I'm siding with them." He thought sarcastically, his hands slid to the twin swords on his belt. It was pretty clear that these two were looking for a fight.

There was a rustle in the alley and a little girl, stumbled out. She ran towards Sin and hid behind him, clinging to him. From behind Sin, she glared defiantly at the elves that had shown up. "What happened Anna?" Sin never took his eyes off the pair, he wasn't sure about Alken and Lyra, but he thought they might be allies.

"Those mean people hurt my mama, she's dying, I saw them do it." She pointed at the elves, Sin believed her, Anna might be just eight years old, but she was a child of the Lower City, street rat born and bred.

"Alright." Sin said. "Anna I want you to run to the herb shop a few blocks from here, get the healer and bring her to your mom. And no matter what don't look back." The little girl nodded before turning and running. When she was far enough away he turned back to the elves, his red eyes gleaming in the night. "What did you do?" His voice was arctic, red gold flames snaked up his arms wrapping around them without burning him.
