Aria-
Everything that I had been through so far was confusing, but it was exactly the adventure I had come out here looking for.
I didn't get the opportunity to morph back into a human before Luna shouted, "I'll race you!"
I smiled with excitement and bolted after her, Karma right at my heels. Though I was horribly confused at this point, what with my first meeting of people and the interference of the black dragon and all this nonsense about a stone, feeling the wind brush past my face felt so nice and calming. It was a sort of relief, really. I heard Karma laugh a little behind me. Luna stayed just barely ahead of us the whole time, and Karma and I were neck-and-neck. I laughed and pushed myself harder. My tongue hung out of my mouth and I chased the never ending ground before me.
Finally, Luna slowed and came to a stop, changing back into a human. Through the trees I could see glints of firelight just ahead. I sat down and watched it curiously. Karma's playfulness disappeared when she spotted it. She sat next to me and we waited for our other friends to catch up.
