The King(bold is always the kind)

I got to my estate. My face still a little bloody. i could feel myself getting weaker. What had happened with the Serpant king, should never happen again, so I went to my chambers and summoned as many spirits as I could. I knew that this was a very dangerous thing to do, but it was worth it. I slowly walked to the windows. Stretched my arms wide. I could feel my strength returning, but trees, plants and even people were withering. Getting a little older by the second. I smiled my evil smile. Watch out Anshul. Watch out.

Aria-

I stepped out of the bushes and looked closely at the beings before me. People were so strange, so bizarre, so unpredictable. I smiled with amusement and Karma continued to growl. I took a couple steps towards them, and with every move forward that I made, they took a step back. I chuckled.

"Very well," I told them. "I'll stay here." I stopped moving. "I am Aria, a sort of wolf master, if you will. This is Karma," I said, directing an open palm at the ever alert wolf at my side. "She doesn't like people, but don't worry. I won't let her do anything to you," I said with a wink. They watched me suspiciously. Unaware of why, I told them a little background of my life so far. "I was raised by wolves, so I don't exactly know much about people. I was just curious as to where you are going, since I heard you talking from a ways away." They looked at each other strangely. I cocked my head and stared at them. "Do you not speak anymore?" I asked.

"We do, you just don't stop talking," a dragon said to me sarcastically.

"Oh," I said, looking at the ground, my face reddening.

A girl hit him gently. "I'm Rachel. Sorry about him. He's always like that."

I smiled vaguely, still a little embarrassed. The other dragon morphed back into a girl and introduced herself. "Luna. Nice to meet you, Aria," she said with a smile.

The other two morphed back as well. One boy stepped forward. "I'm Altu," he told me. "And this is Jaspis." I nodded to them in acknowledgement.

"Do you mind if I join you on your journey? Staying in the forest for ninteen years gets tiring after awhile."

They happily obliged, and we set off towards their destination. Karma wasn't too pleased, but she went along anyway.

Oscuro-

I crouched behind the shrubs and lifted my rifle to my shoulder. I aimed straight at the deer and fired, killing it instantly. I smiled with success and placed my kill on Fax's saddle, leading him towards the village. It was a small village, so a bit of deer for everyone would satisfy them. My fellow dwarves smiled at me as I passed by them, and I returned them and sometimes exchanged warm 'hellos'. I led Fax to my home and cooked up the deer, giving some out to my friends, neighbors, and family.

Jaspis

There was this weird girl walking with us.

She seemed nice, but kinda, I don't know... weird.

Ok she had never seen humans before.

I stopped and walked toward her.

"Im sorry. I was just being sarcastic." I apologized in my cutest smile.

Rachel glanced back.

"Oh." Aria still looked down. "Where are you heading anyway?"

"Uhm. We are heading for a rebel meeting."

"Rebels?"

"Yeah. We want to overthrow our "king" ". I answered. "You have heard of him haven't you?" I asked when I saw her puzzled look.

"Yeah sure." Alia responded, still looking a bit unsure.

I speed my steps until I walked next to Rachel.

"She seems nice." I said.

Rachel turned and looked at me.

"Yeah." She answered lightly.

Altu

I watched the new girl curiously, my eyes shifting slowly to her canine companion, who growled softy in response. A wolf master. In all my years traveling, I had never met anything like that.

"So you use magic to control the wolves?" I asked in intrest as we walked towards our meeting point. She shook her head.

"No way, I'm friends with them. I don't force them to do anything," she said sincerely with a nod, reaching down and ruffling Karma's fur.

"Yeah, I never had a feel for magic much too," I agreed with a nod, as Jaspis turned from in front of me.

"Altu, you can do magic," he said with a short laugh. "It's hilarious, because you don't even know you're doing it half the time.

"I am not," I retorted a little haughtlily, waving my hands up in the air. Suddenly, we were showered with a cascade of something cold and rustling. I jumped with a yell, realising all the leaves above our heads had dropped instantaniously, as if Autumn had suddenly manifested intself out of nothing.

"See!" Jaspis doubled over, cracking up with laughter. "Like that!"

"Pfft whatever!" I was about to throw my arms up in noncalance once more, but Luna caught my arms.

"Please no more gesticulating, before you blow us up," she joked with a grin, and I couldn't help but laugh a little too.

After the laughing lasped into silence, Luna piped up, "So guys, if you could say anything to that rotten king, what would you say?"

Immediately, my face lit up in a grin. "Oh, I got one. Remember this, Jasp?" I paused for a moment in thought, remembering the joke that they had heard whilst traveling. "Ah yeah. I would say, 'May the fleas of a thousand camels infest you and may your arms be too short to scratch.'"

We all roared in merry laughter, the sound ringing in the dead valley.

Anshul, Serpent King

I strode away from the black dragon, melting into the black hues of the night as the folige beneeth my feet whithered and died upon contact with the soles of my shoes.

Tribe may be intelligent, but he is weak willed. I was generous this time; I could have easily forced him to do my bidding. He underestimated me; a mistake corresponding to the King's equaly foolish one. But he and I were not much different, whether Tribe refused to believe it or not. As they say, there is none more deaf that those who do not wish to hear...

"Where now, master?" came the throaty hiss of Feyrr within the open darkness of the forest, his words reverberating of the trees in a ghostly echo. I drifted away from my dark thoughts, regarding the snake.

"Be patient. For now, we shall wait. I would rather have Tribe's help upon this; it makes things less difficult for myself. If he accepts my invitation, then you can search for my son. You are more than capable of finding him. I shall deal with him then."

"An excellent plan, master. Am I right in saying, that you wish to gather more information on the stone while I search for Altu?"

With a snarl, I leaned over the pitiful creature. "Do not speak that damned half breed's name to me!"

"I apologize," Feyrr hissed, shrinking into the ground in fear. My red eyes narrowed slightly, but I did not harm him. Hate consumed me at the sound of the name, and the basilisk within me twisted inside, willing to be unleashed upon something. I forced the urge down with a growl, stopping within a moonlit clearing and turning to Feyrr.

"Go and hunt Feyrr, the forest is abundant in prey. You will need strength."

"Yes master..." I watched him slither out of sight, waiting for the last of his moss green coils dissapear among the undergrowth, before I closed my red eyes. With a snap of my fingers, a dark black window appeared in front of me, a portal to my labyrinth deep below the kingdom. I stepped into in, the darkness devouring me for a few seconds before I appeared in the dark dungeon in which I resided.

The cold dreary walls greeting me with a grim noise of moisture dripping down their surface, as I sighed and breathed in the scent of dead air.

"Ah... home sweet home."

Rachel-

"So what would you say Rachel?" Luna asked.

"I don't think I would say anything," I said calmly. Luna rolled her eyes.

"Don't pull that whole wise elves hold their tongues act. What would you say?"

I chuckled. "I wouldn't say anything."

"You're no fun," Luna muttered. I smiled and looked at the new girl Aria.

"What would you say?"

"It's more like what I'll do. I'd have a hundred wolves surround him and have their way with him." There seemed to be some kind of smirk on the wolf Karma's face. I guess the wolves had their own troubles with the "king."

"Are we almost there?" Altu asked.

"Almost," answered Jaspis.
"Oh please don't tell me you're archaeologists."

I looked straight ahead.

I practically stared.

Suddenly something moved.

It looked like a... A DRAGON... A BLACK ONE.

"Stop guys. Somethings there." I whispered and snuck towards it.

Altu

I shifted forms, my body erupting into mossy scales and technicolour feathers. My eyes turned a deep tangerine and my huge, tri coloured wings grew outwards from my back. I shook my masive beak and raised my feathery mane, trotting ahead of Jaspis silently, lowering my head and growling quietly. My thick tail twitched as I crept closer to the dragon, trying to keep my heavy foot falls as quiet as possible.

"Altu-"

"Shh," I hushed Luna, creeping closer, spreading out my wings and making me appear even bigger than I already was.

Then, the silvery black dragon turned it's head, jumping as it realised I was there. I roared, the strange sound causing everyone to flinch. It was a scream caught halfway between griffin and basilisk, heaven and hell.

Rachel-

That sound. It was the most heart-wrenching sound I had ever heard. Altu jumped on the black dragon, but was quickly shaken off. I saw that whenever the dragon looked at Altu, he looked at his feet. Did this dragon know what a griffilisk was?

Jaspis roared and suddenly we were in a fight with a strange dragon. Luna shifted and helped the other three while Karma and Aria attacked the dragon's legs. I pulled me bow out and looked at the huge creature.

The next moments were confused. The black dragon roared and suddenly a tornado came out of nowhere.

"Hurry! Find shelter!" I shouted over the winds. I heard something as the tornado came closer. Chaos comes. Chaos obeys.

Chaos? I aimed my bow at the dragon, but the harsh winds tore it from my grasp. Crap.

*Guys Tribe used magic to make himself invisible. And he was supposed to be in human form. But I guess I'll go along. Another thing about Tribe, there is a lot of Chaos in battle, so fighting can be intoxicating to him.*

Ain(Tribe)-

Something wasn't right, the rebels had stopped before they entered the field. Tribe dug his claws into the cliff, and shot into the air as one of them screamed. Damnit he'd forgotten to cast invisiblity when he shifted back to dragon. What was he thinking? Making such a juvenile mistake. The scream caught him just before he spread his wings, and instead Tribe tumbled to down the cliff.

Snarling, he staggered to his feet just as the griffilisk jumped on top of him. He bucked the smaller beast off and raked him with long silver claws. Suddenly he saw the other rebels racing towards him. "Right, atomatically assume I'm a threat just because I'm a black dragon." Tribe mentally rolled his eyes. "Well, they're right. But it's still insulting."

Rage coursed through him, chaos swirled around him, the red black energy was his to take, his to use. Tribe tilted his head back, and roared a challenge to the sky. Instantly the clouds swirled together, wind tore across the meadow, as the tornado touched ground.

He watched as the rebels turned to run the other way. Then his eyes caught on one of the dragons, a brilliant blue. "Is that, Jaspis?" Tribe's thought were confused, all over the place. In any case since he'd been discovered he couldn't spy on the meeting. Tribe hadn't meant to be seen, but hey, he'd take a gift from the god's when it showed.

And if that really was his brother. Growling he launched himself into the air and pulled the tornado back, the winds dispersed back into the sky. He thought he'd gotten away clean, but he missed the other dragon flying above him. She dove down and landed on top of him, pinning his wings, howling he fell back to earth.

Altu

Luna pinned the black dragon by the wings as he struggled and spat to free himself. I beat my wings angrily, screaming my blood curdling screech that caused the black dragon to cry out and struggle even more violently, raising a claw and raking them down her skin just like he had down to me.

Fury built up inside, my eyes flashing a dangerous yellow. The dragon gasped and turned his head away, rolling from Luna's grasp.

With a screech, I flew at him with all my might, colliding with the dragon with an almighty crack as we fell into a maddening scuffle. I could not tell head or tail; I meerly kicked, slashed and bit anything I could reach.

One of his clawed hands came down on my throat, but I countered it by wraping my thick tail around his neck and constricting. But I couldn't compete with his whole weight on my throat. Black spots danced mockingly in front of my eyes as garbled screeches tore from my lungs.

I could only see one way out...

With that same, harrowing roar, my eyes flashed gold as I stared straight into the dragon's ones. With a scream of pain he threw himself off me, clutching his eyes and stumbling back into a tree.

With a gasp my eyes returned to their normal orange colour. I blinked hard, rolling onto my feet to meet the horrified faces of my friends.

Jaspis

The Black dragon stumbled back and didn't get up.

Its eyes obviously hurt.

"We mean you no harm if you don't mean us any." I shouted at it.

It looked up and shifted into its human form. A tall guy with black wings.

"I don't mean you any harm." He said.

The others looked doubtful.

I shifted to a human and walked forward.

"And you are?"

The Black Dragon seemed reluctant to reply.

Ain(Tribe)-

Tribe smiled sadly, a hint of his old smirk still remaining. "You mean you still don't know. God your naive Jaspis."

His brother stumbled back before demanding. "How do you know my name?"

"I'm your brother Jaspis, your twin." He said it bluntly, without any subtlety.

"That's not possible. You don't look anything like me, we're not even the same color."

Smirking, Tribe pulled himself up and leaned against the tree. "What's the word for twins that don't look alike? Oh, yeah, fraternal."

Jaspis stood there, hands clenched in fists. "You're working for the king."

Arctic eyes flashing, Tribe glared at him. "So what if I am. It's not like I want to. Don't you dare judge, not until you've lived my life. You left. You left, and someone had to keep him from going after you."

Id left alright. But that had nothing to do with him.

"I don't believe you." I said staring at my feet. My nails digging into the palms of my hands.

The Dragon smirked.

"So what is your name?" Altu asked from behind me.

"Tribe."

"Were nothing alike! Nothing." I mumbled.

Tribe laughed. "Yeah. Right."

"Lets go." I said striding past the black dragon.

My brain was foggy. Tribe... Memories. Black as the night.

Don't think.

My head hurt.

I could feel that the others were just staring at me saying nothing.

"Guys?" I turned.

My companions still stared from tribe to me and back.

"I'm not like him and you know that."

Altu shook his head. "No your not. All the years Ive known you... Not at all."

**Sorry arya**

Rachel-

Well this was the most confusing night of the century. Black dragons, old friends, new strangers, and we're still nowhere closer to the stone.

"Jaspis, are you going to be okay?" I asked.

"Yeah, I'll be fine. We should get to the meeting now before we're late."

"Good thing was, because we scared that dragon off, we may have protected this meeting from unfriendly ears," said Altu.

"Well if you all are done talking..." Luna started and turned into a dragon. "I'll race you!"

Luna took off and Aria followed, not denying a challenge. I looked at Altu and Jaspis.

"You two want to follow don't you?"

"Maybe," Altu said mischeviously. I looked more at Jaspis. He seemed to be in a daze, and after all that has happened I wouldn't blame him.

"Jaspis?"

"What? Oh... you guys can go ahead." I sighed and looked at Altu.

"you do realize you're losing?"

"Yeah, but it's only fair. I wouldn't want to beat them by too much."
"Oh please don't tell me you're archaeologists."
