Here I am! As promised!

Name: Madeline (Often goes by Maddie)

Age: 18 (almost finished with school)

Gender: Female

Personality: An asocial type person. Likes to stick to herself and while she's not shy, she's neither outgoing. She'll only talk to you if you come up to her first (most of the time). Very compassionate and kind. Annoyed easily.

Powers: See the future

Appearence: http://www.worldofstock.com/slides/PMO2725.jpg

What she's wearing to the ball: http://www.1stpromdress.com/products/bi ... 085031.jpg with a glittery slivery, black mask

History: Her parents and grandparents were born rich. Madeline's father is the Duke's brother. She is an only child and was born into this world. She hates it, though she can be vain. She hates gatherings with others, such as the ones she must attend, of high power. Most of them get on her nerves.

Other: Likes to play sports and skateboard, but is often punished for it. She does it behind her parents back. Up for love.
Hermione, shut your ungodly, lopsided mouth and quit interrupting! 20 points from Gryffindor. You know, for the brightest witch of your age you can sure be a dumba** sometimes. *smiles* 10 points to Dumbledore!

Answers to Various Questions:

1) Before I answer the power question, reread the storyline and details. If you do and are still confused, ask again.
2) We are starting at the ball.
3) Seeing into the future and past are the only powers. (Yup.) But you can still have creative freedom. There are, naturally, different ways the past/future speak to you, how you use your powers, how in-depth your powers are...etc. Come on guys, be creative.

Suggestions:

1) Before we start, I'll give you a chance to read everyone elses profiles and get familiar with them. Make sure you know all of the characters.
2) Remember this is the Victorian times in England. Styles, language, social status, and the overall thinking of people are different. (I'm a bit iffy about that prom dress Maddie's wearing for starters.)
3) As I said, the powers aren't the only things these people are worrying about. Reputation, arranged marriages, all of that play a role in this storyline as well.

Okay, we're ready. Creator of Johanna though, all your character can do is see the future or the past. Everyone needs to choose either one. If you're confused, read through the description of this once more.

Felicity:
I entered the crowded ballroom of out mansion. The ceilings glittered with massive chandeliers and people, all in beautiful clothes, gossiped, and danced. Some recognized me a congratulated me heartily. I got so many from people who I never even laid eyes on before in my life. This was my debut, my introduction to "proper" society after finishing school. My parents put together a masked ball.

I heard that many important people were supposed to be here. I gazed around me. I knew nobody. I hoped Johanna had made it. She had finished with me and we were friends.

A little girl in a white dress wandered about, she looked around anxiously and then continued on.
"Are you lost?" I asked her.
"No miss." She answered politely. "Have you seen Ms. Carlisle? She said she found my doll..." She added quickly.
"No, I'm sorry." I hadn't the faintest idea who Ms. Carlisle was. "What's your name child? I'll see if I can find her."
"Anna Withers," She replied.
I nodded. And Anna disappeared back into the crowd.

I sat down to rest and felt my eyelids flutter. A debut is such a boring affair. I had made a good impression and was quite exhausted. My mind drifted.

A women runs through a crowded street. She wears a simple white dress and a black cloak that covers her face. In her hand is a a piece of parchment. She sits on the bank of the Thames and seals it into an envelope. The wind blows back her hood and her tawny hair is blown around. With flowing handwriting she addresses the envelope to Admiral Robert Withers. She seals it with a plain red blot of wax and tucks it into her cloak pocket.

My vision dematerializes and I bolt up as a woman screams. "Has anyone seen Anna? Where's my Anna?" And collapses. People rush to her side a reassure her.
"Mrs. Withers, it's alright, I'm sure she's here somewhere. Why there's so many places a small child could get to in here." My mother comforts her.

Madeline

*Okay, sorry, I forgot when I picked out the dress. Lets just say it has sheer lacy sleeves (not strapless) and a little more poofy (:*

Madeline

I wandered through the grand ballroom in the mansion. I was horrified. My parents were trying to arrange a marriage. Already! Girls in beautiful gowns fluttered past me and I felt like gagging. I could be outside, laying in the sun. Although I know my parents don't approve of this I still do it anyway. I hate all these frilly things. As beautiful as they may be, I don't want it. My mind jerked, to what I knew to be, the future.

"Hello Miss," a young man greeted me.

"Hello," I replied, not really wanting to start up a conversation. He smiled, catching my mood.

"A bit upset, are we?" he chuckled. I tried not to roll my eyes. "You don't like the these things, do you?"

"Not really," I said truthfully. He smiled.

"Then we have something in common."

The vision vanished. I rubbed my temples. No sooner had I walked towards the exit, did the same young man approach me. I sighed. Hopefully he didn't know my parents. They don't approve of the fact that I tend to stick to myself. They always wished for a beautiful, bubbly, little blonde girl. Instead they got a pretty little brunette that loved 'activities meant for men.' Oh well, I thought as the man smiled at me, I never really have listened to them before.

Abby~~

"Madam, Miss." The doorman greeted us, "Names please?"

"Catherine Warden and Abigale Warden," My blond mother mother said.

"Mother, Why must I be here?" I whispered.

"It's your duty! You already said you would do it so you can't back out now," She whispered under her smile.

"Of course.." She whispered back, also under a smile.

They walked in to the glorious ballroom filled with smiles (some fake and some unknowing), Champagne, clinks of glasses and dresses that could afford a small home. Abby sighed, atleast she could meet some better people than the maids at her house to talk to. She sighed again and her mother pinched her elbow.

"Look like your having fun," Abby's mother smiled again.

"Fine.."

And she then walked up to someone interesting looking..

Avelle~

I stared as the party unfolded before me. It was busy and full of dancers. The girl's dresses were all very fluffy and looked uncomfortable. I was standing around, watching the swiveling dancers. I had just had a vision and was still a bit disoriented and refused multiple young men. Mother would not be pleased.

"Avelle!" Great. Speak of the devil.

"Yes, mother?"

"Have you greeted the host and her daughter yet? You must always do that first!"

I lowered my eyes. "Of course mother. I'll do it now." I carefully walked away carefully. I didn't want to trip and fall at one of the biggest balls of the year, just because of my vision.

I scanned the room to look for the host... Oh great. I didn't even know what she looked like. After all this was a masked ball. I sighed and rubbed my temples. I had gotten a huge headache from my vision. It flashed through my mind. I hardly remembered what it was about. All I remembered was a little boy. He was crying silently and his mother was trying to comfort him. I wonder what it was all about.

"Excuse me? Miss? Would you care to dance?" a young man said cockily.

I gave a small smile, as I didn't want to seem rude. He was probably a son of someone rich and important. That would explain the attitude. "Well..." I said hesitantly. Normally I would have accepted, just to get on his good side. Yet, after that vision I didn't feel up to my usual responsibility of accepting everything.

"Of course you would," he answered for me.

He took my hand and I thanked the gods I was wearing silk black gloves. His own hand was sweating and I didn't want to touch that.

We danced a slow waltz and the music pounded in my ears. It was a beautiful tune, one I would be sure to try out at home. As soon as the music stopped I shifted through the mass of people, trying to get away from him as possible. He was too rude and arrogant for my tastes.

I looked around, in case my mother was watching me, and when the coast was clear I gave a big sigh of relief. I had to rest for a minute. I got a glass of punch and sat down.

I walked around the room, bored. Sure, the only reason i was brought to this masked ball was because my parents wanted to get me married soon. The nerve of them. I sighed and walked towards the exit. Once there i leaned on a door side and watched the ball go on.

A woman walked towards me, strange. I decided to be talkative.

"Hello Miss," I greeted her.

"Hello," she replied, I could tell she was an unsociable person. I smiled and decided to dwell on that.

"A bit upset, are we?" I said. "You don't like the these things, do you?"

"Not really," She said truthfully.

I smiled, "Then we have something in common."

She smiled.

Interesting. The young man who had walked up to me wasn't too bad. I actually wouldn't mind talking to him. He didn't seem to be like all the other arrogant men. While they danced around, he stood against the wall. Kind of like myself.

"Am I still going to adress you as Miss, or would you be so gracious as to give me your name?" He asked.

Oh, well," I said surprised. I looked up at him and saw he was grinning at me. He was playing with me! Well, two can play at that game.

"I'm am so sorry, young man," I said, dramatically. "Could you ever forgive me?" I fluttered my eyelashes, trying not to smile.

"Well, I would but," he sighed, a very dramatic sigh, "you still haven't given me your name."

"Well how could I be so rude," I gasped in horror. "I am Madeline. Cousin of the Duke." I stuck my nose in the air as I seen the other girls do. I grinned at him, and laughed.

"Well, Lady Madeline, I am Zire," he said, with a low bow. I tried not to roll my eyes.

"Nice to meet you, Zire," I smiled.

**Okay sorry kind of short but I've got to go to school ):
