We stealthy walk aroung the room, looking for signs of anything unusual. Finding nothing, we retire back out to the street. Only to see three more, very fancy people walking towards us.

"Look, I'm sorry, but my feet can't take anymore of this. I'm going home. This just isn't my thing."
"What isn't?" Lily asked.
"All of this. The masqurade and...well, just all of it," Maddie said, slightly annoyied. "I'm not normally like this, I am just ready to get out of here."

It had been a while since the two women and the man had left to give some information to the police about a murder, as far as i knew. Everyone was now silent, waiting looking at the rest of the group, wanting someone else to say something to break the silence.
I smiled. If this kept going, no one would ever want to speak. I was just going to break the silence when a police officer walked towards us.
"Which of you is 'Zire Vester'?" The policeman asked.
Everyone was looking at us. Anyone who knew somebody near them were talking, gossiping as usual.
"I am" I replied then after a small pause asked "Is there something wrong?"
"Sir" The policeman said, hesitated then continued talking, "You are under arrest for kidnapping and attempted murder. You are advised to come with me without a struggle"
For a moment i couldn't believe what i was hearing. I sat stock still, my face betraying all hints of emotion for a split second.
"And who do you think i kidnapped?" I asked slowly.
"Your brother, a highly recognized person in our politics, Sir" The policeman replied.
